Kids
Connect is our children’s ministry program that covers kindergarten
through 5th grade which is broken down into 3 classrooms. The nursery
covers ages 0-2 years old, Preschool 3-5 years old, and Elementary which
covers ages 6-12 years old. Each classroom uses The Gospel Project as
their curriculum source.

At Connection Church, we are very passionate about teaching kids the
Good News of the Gospel by giving them a biblical foundation to stand
upon. We want the main focus to alway be on Jesus. The Gospel Project is
a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study for kids. This curriculum
helps all ages dive deep into the Bible - God’s plan to rescue His
people through His son, Jesus.

Our heart is to partner alongside parents in teaching and equipping
their children to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind.” (Luke 10:27) Our amazing Kids
Connect leaders faithfully serve and teach your children to stand upon
the Word of God as their only source of truth, so they can go out into
the world confident in who they are in Christ and not be swayed away
from truth. Kids Connect leaders use an array of videos, songs, games,
and snacks to bring the Gospel story alive for your kids in a way they
won’t forget! We can’t wait to partner with you in raising up a
generation with hearts ablaze for Jesus!

CHECK-IN & SAFETY
At Connection Church, we want to ensure that
our students stay safe. Before you drop off your children in class, we
ask that you visit the Kids Connect check-in table. While there, you
will receive a name tag for your child and another tag that you will use
to pick up your child at the end of service. Both of these tags have
matching numbers to ensure someone doesn’t get picked up by an
unauthorized individual. For everyone’s safety, student’s must get
picked up by an adult (18+) with a matching name tag.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Once your children are checked in, you can
expect that your child will be greeted by a background checked and
trained volunteer who has a heart for pouring into God’s children. In
our nursery, your babies will be held, played with and cared for. For
our pre-school - 5th grade classes, you can expect that your children
are being taught age appropriate lessons, songs, and games that will
keep them safe, entertained, and engaged while diving into God’s love
for them.
Justin + Shelby Fiechter
Justin and Shelby met while
serving as missionaries in South Africa. In 2015, the couple married and
welcomed 3 beautiful children into the world; Tessa (7), Emmie (5), and
Myles (2). Justin and Shelby are passionate about the Church and
encouraging families with the hope of the Gospel. Justin works in
construction and also serves as a Deacon at The Connection Church.
Shelby serves as the Children’s Ministry Director and also stays home
with their three kids. Together, Justin and Shelby love to travel and
adventure, spend lots of time on the beach, and enjoy any time they can
get with their family and friends!

Kissimmee, FL – A volunteer youth pastor in Osceola County, Daniel
Lamppin, 40, is behind bars after being charged with 24 counts of sexual
battery by a custodian. Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez confirmed
that Lamppin confessed to sexually assaulting two of his former foster
children.
Sexual Abuse Allegations Span Years, Involve Multiple Victims

The case surfaced when a 15-year-old girl reported that she had been
sexually abused by Lamppin between the ages of 6 and 8. A second victim,
now an adult, told investigators that the abuse started soon after she
