CORRECTION - Stolen from his biologically interested parents as a child. He is now 21 so a few years an adult.
"A 21-year-old man was killed by Gary police officers after police said he attempted to rob an undercover officer and attacked him with a machete."
The suspect was identified a 21-year-old man from Gary named Shahaud Richmond. He died at the hospital from his injuries in the police shooting, which Gary police said happened during an undercover operation.
