A young woman ran over and killed a man in Campo Grande, last Sunday (22), around 7 pm. The images were recorded by a security camera.

The man was the boyfriend of the driver’s mother. According to the police, he assaulted and raped her mother, which motivated the daughter’s retaliation.

The video shows the moment the man appears sitting on the sidewalk, in front of a market, when the car runs over him. It all happened around 7 pm, on Rua Afluente. Another man, who was at the scene talking to the victim, managed to divert and was not hit.

After running over the victim for the first time, the driver again threw the car on top of the man, who was injured. The driver still got out of the vehicle and started arguing with the victim and then fled the scene.

According to the Civil Police, the driver remains outlawed. Teams carry out diligences in the region, but she has not yet been located. The case has been registered as attempted murder and is still being investigated.

🚨NEWS ALERT: Emergency crews are attempting to recover trapped people after a major building collapse near the 770 Chabad Jewish Headquarters ⚠

It took months, perhaps years, for a small crew of Lubavitchers to dig a secret passageway underneath 770 Eastern Parkway, the famed Brooklyn headquarters of the Chabad movement.

They would not let it be filled so easily.

The tunnel was discovered in December and deemed a danger to the structure. But when a cement truck arrived on Monday to fill in the tunnel, students mounted a last stand.

Ripping off wood paneling in the women’s section of the sanctuary, the students revealed the cavernous space and jumped inside, refusing to leave.

The NYPD eventually made 10 arrests, and video showed several men in Hasidic garb being led out, their wrists bound with zip ties.

Reports said those behind the tunnel’s excavation had hoped to expand 770, but it was not obvious how the tunnel, which connected the synagogue to the defunct Chabad mikvah around the corner, accomplished that.

The chaos at 770 is the latest chapter in a multiyear battle. The Chabad-Lubavitch movement, despite holding the title to the property, does not control the sanctuary that spans the space below it. It has been locked in litigation with a Chabad synagogue over control of that space for decades.

A man is an adult male human. Prior to adulthood, a male human is referred to as a boy (a male child or adolescent).

Like most other male mammals, a man's genome usually inherits an X chromosome from the mother and a Y chromosome from the father. Sex differentiation of the male fetus is governed by the SRY gene on the Y chromosome. During puberty, hormones which stimulate androgen production result in the development of secondary sexual characteristics that result in even more differences between the sexes. These include greater muscle mass, greater height, the growth of facial hair and a lower body fat composition. Male anatomy is distinguished from female anatomy by the male reproductive system, which includes the penis, scrotum, testicles, sperm duct, prostate gland and epididymis, and by secondary sex characteristics, including a narrower pelvis and hips, and smaller breasts and nipples.

Throughout human history, traditional gender roles have often defined men's activities and opportunities. Men often face conscription into military service or are directed into professions with high mortality rates. Many religious doctrines stipulate certain rules for men, such as religious circumcision. Men are over-represented as both perpetrators and victims of violence.

Trans men have a gender identity that does not align with their female sex assignment at birth, while intersex men may have sex characteristics that do not fit typical notions of male biology.

The English term "man" is derived from the Proto-Indo-European root *man- (see Sanskrit/Avestan manu-, Slavic mǫž "man, male"). More directly, the word derives from Old English mann. The Old English form primarily meant "person" or "human being" and referred to men, women, and children alike. The Old English word for "man" as distinct from "woman" or "child" was wer. Mann only came to mean "man" in Middle English, replacing wer, which survives today only in the compounds "werewolf" (from Old English werwulf, literally "man-wolf"), and "wergild", literally "man-payment".

Biology

In humans, sperm cells carry either an X or a Y sex chromosome. If a sperm cell carrying a Y chromosome fertilizes the female ovum, the offspring will have a male karyotype (XY). The SRY gene is typically found on the Y chromosome and causes the development of the testes, which in turn govern other aspects of male sex differentiation. Sex differentiation in males proceeds in a testes-dependent way while female differentiation is not gonad dependent.

Primary sex characteristics (or sex organs) are characteristics that are present at birth and are integral to the reproductive process. For men, primary sex characteristics include the penis and testicles.

Adult humans exhibit sexual dimorphism in many other characteristics, many of which have no direct link to reproductive ability. Humans are sexually dimorphic in body size, body structure, and body composition. Men tend to be taller and heavier than women, and adjusted for height, men tend to have greater lean and bone mass than women, and lower fat mass.

Secondary sex characteristics are features that appear during puberty in humans. Such features are especially evident in the sexually dimorphic phenotypic traits that distinguish between the sexes, but—unlike the primary sex characteristics—are not directly part of the reproductive system.Secondary sexual characteristics that are specific to men include:

Broadened shoulders; Increased body hair; An enlarged larynx (also known as an Adam's apple); and A voice that is significantly deeper than the voice of a child or a woman.

Men weigh more than women. On average, men are taller than women by about 10%. On average, men have a larger waist in comparison to their hips (see waist–hip ratio) than women. In women, the index and ring fingers tend to be either more similar in size or their index finger is slightly longer than their ring finger, whereas men's ring finger tends to be longer.

Reproductive system

The male reproductive system includes external and internal genitalia. The male external genitalia consist of the penis, the male urethra, and the scrotum, while the male internal genitalia consist of the testes, the prostate, the epididymis, the seminal vesicle, the vas deferens, the ejaculatory duct, and the bulbourethral gland.

An orangutan at an Australian zoo horrified visitors when it brutally evicted a possum by ”launching” it from the top of its enclosure after the wily pest had invaded its space.

A viral video shows the critter hurtling through the air and vanishing from view after being pitched from a tall metal tower at Perth Zoo, on Australia’s west coast.

Several people can be heard screaming in the background, with one exclaiming, “Oh, my God!”

The primate then emerges from the enclosure, as if to check where the airborne possum had landed.

When asked about what happened to the unfortunate marsupial, a Perth Zoo official told Yahoo! News Australia: “I would presume it did not survive the fall. Obviously the loss of any living creature saddens us, but also nature playing out.”
