⁣SPICER, Minn. (FOX 9) - Minnesota-based lawyer and online legal analyst Nick Rekieta is facing a drug charge in Kandiyohi County.

Rekieta was arrested Thursday along with his wife Kayla and a fellow online personality. Prosecutors filed charges against Rekieta and his wife on Friday for second-degree possession, child endangerment, and a gross misdemeanor firearm charge.

According to the charges, law enforcement attempted to execute a search warrant on May 23 at Rekieta’s home in Spicer and was greeted by a girl at the front door who would not let them inside.

After Rekieta refused to provide the door code, law enforcement used a door ram to get inside and found Kayla, Imholte, and four juveniles inside.

Law enforcement proceeded to search the master bedroom and bathroom, where they allegedly found a variety of drug paraphernalia, including three small baggies that tested positive for cocaine, eight green tablets that tested positive for Ketamine, and a digital scale, and several other items that tested positive for cocaine, charges claim.

Authorities also found a Sig Sauer AR with several magazines and loose ammunition underneath the bed, a spent shell casing on the bedroom floor, and located additional firearms and ammunition in the garage, according to court records.

Police took Rekieta and his wife Kayla into custody, and he told law enforcement that he and his wife stayed in the master bedroom, where law enforcement claimed to find most of the drug paraphernalia, but allegedly refused to answer questions about the cocaine, according to court records.

Before his arrest, some online users had raised concerns about Rekieta's health this week sharing a clip of him appearing to dose off during a stream.

Law enforcement noted Rekeita had several injuries to his arms at the time of his arrest. They described the injuries as sores that are common with controlled substance users, charges said.

Rekieta, who owns a law firm based in Spicer, Minn., saw his online following skyrocket during the pandemic, as he covered cases including Kyle Rittenhouse's trial and Johnny Depp's lawsuit against Amber Heard.

He has more than 150,000 followers on Twitter and nearly 450,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Rekieta and his wife are set to make their first court appearance on Friday morning.

There are so many red flags about all this. First, CM certainly needs to do a better job vetting its interviewees. This isn't the first one that later was exposed to have skeletons in their closet. But the accusers seem to be a group of emotionally damaged people, which may be expected from men who associate themselves with JLP, since his whole shtick seems very cult-like. (What legitimate leader has a house where he lives with followers?) CM could easily have done some background checking on JLP before claiming him "more "Catholic" than most ordained Catholics we encounter."
All in all, this seems like an attempt by CM to undo self inflicted damage it caused when it brought JLP into the studio and promoted him.

Diddy has just been sued by a man claiming the mogul sexually assaulted him.

In legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Rodney Jones, a former producer and videographer for the mogul, claims he was repeatedly sexually assaulted by Diddy and subjected to unwanted advances by associates of Diddy at his direction.

Jones claims Diddy, among other thing, would grope Jones’s genitals and touch his anus. Jones goes on to allege Diddy would parade around naked in front of Jones.

And there’s more … Jones says Diddy brought prostitutes to his house in Miami and on one occasion, Jones says he was present at the house and was drugged and possibly raped.

He also alleges, at several parties, Diddy intentionally served women bottles of his tequila and vodka brands laced with drugs.

There are more tawdry allegations, including bringing underage girls to Diddy’s home and providing them with alcohol.

Jones claims Diddy directed Stevie J and his son Justin Combs to recruit prostitutes — and in Justin’s case, he was instructed to find underaged girls to attend the parties.

Jones claims Diddy introduced him to Cuba Gooding Jr. on Diddy’s yacht and Cuba allegedly began “touching, groping, and fondling Mr. Jones’s legs, his upper inner thighs near his groin, the small of his back near his buttocks and his shoulders.”

There are also allegations of a shooting, where Jones says Diddy and his son Justin got into a heated argument at an L.A. recording studio. Jones says gunfire erupted and a man named G was hit and bleeding profusely from his stomach.

It’s worth noting, LAPD investigated the shooting and reportedly found the victim had been shot outside the studio during a robbery, and merely ran into the studio while still bleeding.

In addition to Diddy, Jones is suing Justin, other employees as well as various record execs, and according to the docs … he’s seeking at least $30 million in damages.

Animals hopped up on cocaine is not a new concept; the February film “Cocaine Bear” loosely chronicled the bizarre true story of when a 175-pound black bear ingested cocaine that was thrown out of a drug smuggling plane in 1985.

However, with Discovery Channel’s Shark Week right around the corner, scientists have revealed the possible discovery of sharks in the Atlantic Ocean that have ingested cocaine.

Experts say that sharks may be gobbling up bales of drugs that were dumped into the water off the coast by smugglers.

Biologists studying the phenomenon reported seeing a hammerhead shark swimming into discarded packages and biting into them.

After ingesting the drugs, the sharks were observed to be behaving erratically, causing what scientists call “crazy brain.”

The NYPD says a vehicular ramming incident that sparked alarm among Jews in New York City was an accident.

Security footage circulating online shows a black minivan plowing into a group of women pushing strollers who appear to be Jewish.

Social media users claim the incident is a hate crime, but a police spokesperson says it was a “motor vehicle collision” that took place on Tuesday.

A 69-year-old man driving a 2014 Toyota made a right turn onto Nostrand Ave. at the Kings Highway intersection, striking three pedestrians, the NYPD tells The Times of Israel.

The intersection is next to the Kingsway Jewish Center and the area has a large Jewish population.

The accident caused injuries to two women, aged 62 and 56, and a 1-year-old boy, the NYPD says. Emergency responders took the injured to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.

NYPD Deputy Chief Richie Taylor, the NYPD’s highest-ranking Orthodox Jewish officer, told The Times of Israel the collision was the result of “extreme inattention” on the part of the driver, who stayed on the scene and apologized after the incident.

“We don’t see anything about criminality,” Taylor said.

The incident surfaced a day after a ramming attack in New Orleans.

In May, a man was arrested on hate crimes charges after attempting to ram Orthodox Jews with his car in Brooklyn.

Minneapolis - A man was killed last night after being pushed onto the track of the path of an oncoming train.

There were reports of an altercation, and MPD confirms they are investigating the death as a homicide. Suspect was reported as a Black man, medium build, white t-shirt, black pants, red shoes with white bottoms, royal blue blanket around his shoulders. Occurred at 5th and 1st street last night.

MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police said a man died early Saturday morning after falling off a light rail platform onto the tracks after a fight with another man.

In a press release, police said that officials from Minneapolis police, Metro Transit police and the fire department were called to the Hennepin Avenue/ Warehouse District Station near 5th Street and 1st Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Officials believe that two men were fighting on the platform when one of them fell onto the tracks into the path of an oncoming train.

The person was struck and emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police have not released the name of the man killed, and have not said if any arrests have been made.

A homicide investigation is underway.
