Cornell Law professor and media critic Williams Jacobson told Fox News that Disney “needs a full investigation about ABC News' actions in spiking a story about a politically well-connected pedophile.”
Robach called her hot-mic episode a “private moment of frustration,” and ABC News defended the decision to spike the story, saying it wasn’t up to network standards. ABC News downplayed the significance of the Project Veritas video. “At the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story. Ever since, we’ve had a team on this investigation and substantial resources dedicated to it," an ABC News spokesperson told Fox News. "That work has led to a two-hour documentary and six-part podcast that will air in the new year.”

A set of locks for an Ohio River dam in Kentucky is closed due to a "navigational incident" after 10 barges were released from a tugboat, including one barge carrying 1,400 tons of a toxic alcohol compound, officials said.

The incident occurred at roughly 2 a.m. Tuesday, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Of 11 total barges, 10 became loose from a tugboat; three barges became pinned to the dam, and one additional barge was pinned against a pier, the agency said.

The Army Corp of Engineers said it recovered the barge pinned against the pier by noon Tuesday. It wrote in a statement that the remaining six barges were recovered, adding that the dam's locks will remain closed until the "barges on the dam are stabilized."

The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet said in a tweet that the barge carrying methanol is partially submerged at the McAlpine Locks and Dam in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident prompted Louisville Fire to deploy hazmat monitoring to the dam, according to a Louisville Metro Emergency Services representative.

"The barge companies are marshaling significant resources in response to the incident and will assess the situation and determine next steps," the representative wrote. "In the meantime, Louisville Fire has deployed Haz-Mat monitoring and LMPD and LFD are surveying the area until the private company arrives on scene."

The closest water intake on the Ohio River from the affected dam is in Henderson, Kentucky -- more than 100 miles away from Louisville, according to the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet.

"There is no impact to Louisville Water's water intake or water quality," the utility company wrote in a tweet. "Your water is safe to drink."

No one was injured in the incident.

Accumulations of methanol vapors in confined spaces can be explosive if ignited, according to the National Institutes of Health.

JFK diary calls Hitler 'stuff of legends' 📓

A diary kept by President John F Kennedy as a young man travelling in Europe, revealing his fascination with Adolf Hitler, is up for auction.

Kennedy, then 28, predicted "Hitler will emerge from the hatred that surrounds him now as one of the most significant figures who ever lived".

"He had in him the stuff of which legends are made," he continued.

Kennedy wrote the entry in the summer of 1945 after touring the German dictator's Bavarian mountain retreat.

It is thought by historians to be the only diary ever kept by the 35th US president.

The original copy will be auctioned for the first time on 26 April in Boston by longtime owner Deirdre Henderson, who worked as a research assistant for Kennedy while he was a US senator with White House ambitions.

He wrote that Hitler "had boundless ambition for his country which rendered him a menace to the peace of the world, but he had a mystery about him in the way he lived and in the manner of his death that will live and grow after him".

The 61-page diary was kept by Kennedy around four months after Hitler committed suicide.

At the time, the young American was touring Europe as a newspaper reporter after finishing his military service aboard a ship in the Pacific Ocean.

Nearly two decades later Kennedy would address crowds in West Berlin as US president.

He gave Ms Henderson the diary in order to inform her of his views on foreign policy and national security, she said.

In a description of the auction, she wrote: "When JFK said that Hitler 'had in him the stuff of which legends are made', he was speaking to the mystery surrounding him, not the evil he demonstrated to the world."

"Nowhere in this diary, or in any of his writings, is there any indication of sympathy for Nazi crimes or cause," she continued.

The diary also contains JFK's thoughts about the British election and Winston Churchill, who Ms Henderson called his "idol".

The winning bid is expected to be around $200,000 (£160,000).

In this bombshell segment from Next News Network's RAW FEED, host Gary Franchi exposes the desperate shadow hearing Democrats staged in what appears to be a converted janitor's closet. While the mainstream media remains silent, Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin have assembled a kangaroo court with one clear objective: smear President Trump while distracting from their own corruption.

Footage obtained by Next News Network reveals political theater at its most pathetic. Democrats are parading "whistleblowers" and former bureaucrats traumatized by a common private-sector event — being fired. One former DOJ official tearfully described being escorted out with her belongings in a grocery bag, claiming she didn’t have time to say goodbye.

What these bureaucrats are really upset about is accountability. For years, they’ve operated with impunity, weaponizing government against Americans while hiding behind "nonpartisan civil service." Now that Trump is draining the swamp, they’re running to Schiff and Raskin to play the victim.

The most revealing moment came when one speaker compared Trump to Hitler, invoking Nazi Germany in a desperate left-wing tactic. Another witness claimed Trump is purging lawyers, scientists, and "independent thinkers" from government, despite their silence when the Biden administration weaponized the DOJ against parents and conservatives.

Adam Schiff, still bitter over his failed Russia hoax, launched another investigation into alleged "insider trading" from Trump’s tariff announcements. The irony seems lost on Schiff, whose party has some of the most suspicious stock trading records in Congress. As Schiff said, "We’re going to demand answers," oblivious to his own party’s corruption.

What’s disturbing about this hearing is the attempt to intimidate law firms from representing Trump or his administration. One witness complained that prestigious law firms wouldn’t challenge Trump, forgetting that legal representation is a right, not a partisan weapon.

The most outrageous claims came when witnesses suggested Trump wants to "stay in power forever" and is plotting to "dismantle democracy." This from the same faction that spent four years trying to overturn the 2016 election with baseless conspiracy theories and multiple impeachments.
