⁣Schiff Pardon Is Useless for New Claims in FBI Docs - Knew He Was Breaking the Law, Thought Being Lawmaker Let Him Get Away with It

California Sen. Adam Schiff is probably really wishing he’d smoked crack and filed knowingly false firearm background checks with Hunter Biden right now, I can imagine.


Hunter, you may recall, got a pardon for basically anything he’d done at the federal level going back to 2014 as his dad was on his way out of the Oval Office. That just so happened to be the year during which Hunter joined the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, which ended up planting the poison seed that grew into the noxious bush that ended with him getting convicted on one set of federal charges and pleading guilty to another. But, thanks to daddy’s pen, any sort of federal ruffianism he got into between then and the end of Biden’s presidency was on the house.

Schiff, it so happened, also got a pardon — but one of those weird, newfangled “preemptive pardons.” Effectively, figuring that the biggest levier of lawfare against former President Donald Trump would probably come under scrutiny now that he was again current President Donald Trump, Schiff was given immunity for his activities — but only as it related to the Democrats’ Jan. 6 kangaroo committee.

That’s important for two reasons. First, it appears Schiff either doesn’t understand real estate finance law or understands it all too well, because he listed two primary residences between 2003 and 2020, ostensibly to get better mortgage terms from banks. (Such arrangements are almost always verboten.)

And, you’ll never believe this, but John Solomon — one of the first guys to blow the whistle on Hunter’s strange Burisma adventures — has information that Schiff might also be in trouble for House Intelligence Committee shenanigans not related to the Jan. 6 committee, that happened about four years before that Jan. 6.

Whoops! If only he’d been combing through Hunter’s rugs trying to find a crumb of crack amidst all the Parmesan cheese before dropping a bricked MacBook off at a repair shop and forgetting about it entirely.

A kids' TV show featuring completely nude adults answering questions about the human body has sparked fury in Holland.

An advert for the programme called 'Simply Naked', which is set to be televised by the public broadcaster NOS, showed a group of adults disrobing in front of an audience of children.

The boys and girls, aged between 10 and 12, were invited to ask questions on subjects such as how confident the adults felt in their own bodies.

The series' developers say it has been 'very carefully produced,' is intended to educate children about the human body and that there are no questions about sex.

But critics have branded it 'disgusting,' with the leader of the right-wing FvD party Thierry Baudet saying it 'comes close to promoting paedophilia'.

Left-wing MP Tunahan Kuzu called the programme 'ridiculous' and told his Twitter followers to write to the national broadcaster to complain.

The conservative SGP party has also asked questions in parliament over why the programme is going ahead.

It comes after a preview of the series aired which showed the varying reactions of the children and some of the questions which they put to the adults.

One of the children said: 'This is not a show I need to see.'

While another told the broadcaster: 'It's good to know that other people worry about the same things too.'

TV presenter Edson da Graça told NOS: 'The aim is to teach children that each and every body is different and that not all bodies are perfect.'

Elsbeth Reitzema from the Rutgers sexual health foundation, which collaborated with NOS to produce the series, said that the steady stream of semi-pornographic images which children see everyday on television and online gave them a distorted view of the human body.

'Those who see ordinary naked bodies more often have a more positive body image,' she said.

The public broadcaster said in a statement: 'The children knew exactly what was going to happen and they could say how they felt during the programme at any time. ... We had expected a bit of a ruckus. Not everyone will think this is for children and that's OK. It's up to the parents to decide if their children can watch.'

The series is based on the Danish kids' TV show Ultra smider tøjet (Ultra strips down), which is now into its second series.

It has been popular in Denmark, although not without criticism, where many believe that children should be exposed to the realities of life - so-called 'Nordic parenting'.

'We recognise the significance of a bruise,' Sofie Münster, a parenting expert told the New York Times in October. 'Danish parenting generally favours exposing children rather than shielding them.'

A particularly famous example is how children were given front row seats to observe as a giraffe was euthanized, dissected and then fed to lions at Copenhagen Zoo in 2014.

'This is how we educate our children,' Münster said. 'We show them reality as it is.'

On the other hand, the conservative Danish People's Party has argued against the show.

Party chairman Peter Skaarup said in September that it is 'completely wrong and far too extreme.'

He added: 'Shouldn't we just let children be children?

'It corrupts our children, who at that age already have many things running around in their heads. There is no need for these things on top.'

Four teenagers in custody after 'inhumane' assault on adults; victim's son
calls for accountability

Police say they are referring charges of felony aggravated assault "due to the egregiousness of this incident."

Excerpt:

As of Wednesday, September 18th, four teenagers have been criminally charged and a fifth is in custody. We're not naming any of the teenagers since they're not being charged as adults.

So far we know police have arrested a 15-year-old, two 14-year-old's, and a 16-year-old.

On Tuesday, September 17th, the 15-year-old was in children's court. A judge ordered him to remain in custody after calling the alleged incident a "particularly heinous attack."

It's important to note that we don't know all of the teen's charges because they are sealed if there's no prior record. We know two of the teens did have a prior record and their charges are public.

Two of the teens will be in court Wednesday, September 18th. No cameras are allowed in the courtroom and two of the hearings are on zoom.

A 14-year-old, charged with aggravated assault of an elderly person, appeared in court just before noon on Wednesday. He will remain in custody and return for a pre-trial hearing on October 22nd at 2:30 p.m.

According to police, a group of juveniles attacked the three victims, who are 63, 62, and 53 years of age. The 63-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Both the 62-year-old and 53-year-old were treated at the scene.
