Provides that, for purposes of the law concerning actions for indecent nuisances, an indecent nuisance includes a public place in or upon which human trafficking is conducted, permitted, continued, or exists, and the personal property and contents used in conducting and maintaining the place for such a purpose.
Establishes the human trafficking prevention and victim assistance fund to fund human trafficking victim services and human trafficking prevention programs. Provides that: (1) 80% of money collected in the seizure of property used in connection with human trafficking will be transferred to the human trafficking prevention and victim assistance fund; and (2) 20% of the money will be transferred to the county for use by the prosecuting attorney.
Allows a law enforcement agency to seize real or personal property, including a vehicle, that is used by a person to: (1) commit, attempt to commit, or conspire to commit; (2) facilitate the commission of; or (3) escape from the commission of; an offense concerning human trafficking or promoting prostitution.
Requires: (1) the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council to make an annual report to the legislative council concerning civil property forfeitures conducted in Indiana; and (2) the state police department to annually report to the legislative council the amount of money it has received from the federal government as the result of property forfeitures conducted by the federal government.
Requires a holder of an alcohol retailer’s permit that provides adult entertainment on the licensed premises to:

require adult entertainment performers to provide proof of age and proof of legal residency;
take a photograph of each adult entertainer who auditions to provide adult entertainment at the licensed premises and retain the photograph for at least three years;
require all employees to sign a document acknowledging their awareness of the problem of human trafficking;
display human trafficking awareness posters in at least two places in the licensed premises; and
cooperate with any law enforcement investigation. Authorizes the alcohol and tobacco commission to suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew a retailer’s permit if the permit holder fails to comply with these requirements.

Update for the homeless or people just struggling at little Caesars in Somerset KY they are pouring chemicals on leftover pizza according to management orders of corporate.
I can't recall how many times in the past few years I was forced to eat out of dumpsters to keep from stealing from stores in our community because help wasn't there at the time or no ride to get to where help was. Little Caesars used to be one of the favorite dumpsters and restaurants to go to at closing time we could always feed alot of people and get a warm pizza. Most nights the workers would bring the extra pizzas out in boxes and set them on top of the dumpsters, hand them to us or just set them down beside or in the dumpster. But I'm here to tell you tonight if you are homeless or searching for food at night don't go to little Caesars no more they are pouring chemicals on there leftover pizza that possibly could kill people. There manager tonight Hannah made it known to us tonight that it's not them personally working there wanting to throw the leftovers pizza away it's corporate policies for them now to throw them in a bag and pour chemicals on them it doesn't matter if there's 40 extra pizzas. So be careful and I hope you stop supporting corporate businesses like this one until they stop waisting. Little Caesars does good when they choose to do good things but when they choose to do wrong and just waist food instead of giving it away they go all out. About like a drug user, other businesses, politicians or a drunkard that does good when they choose to and when they choose not to care they do wrong. Prayers for whoever made these corporate policies and I hope management at the stores don't follow the evil procedures because as the bible teaches to know to do good and do wrong is causing you to sin. Cybersecurity pioneer John McAfee wants authorities to stay away from Apple
’s encryption, so much that he has offered to personally crack the iPhone used by one of the shooters in last year’s San Bernardino, California, attack.

The McAfee antivirus software creator and outspoken libertarian fears that Apple’s compliance could lead to a so-called backdoor for government access, leaving users more vulnerable to malicious hackers. He claims that handling it himself would leave consumers safer.

“There has never been a backdoor that has not been hacked into by bad hackers or foreign nations. So really, what the government is asking Apple to do is to make every individual who uses an iPhone susceptible to hacking by bad people,” McAfee argued on CNBC’s “Power Lunch” on Friday.

McAfee, a self-described “cybersecurity legend” and presidential hopeful, first offered to decrypt the iPhone in a Thursday opinion piece on Business Insider.

The Justice Department filed a motion Friday to compel Apple to assist investigators in accessing data on the iPhone used by Syed Rizwan Farook, one of the shooters in the 2015 attack, which left 14 people dead. Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote this week that the government could eventually “extend this breach of privacy and demand that Apple build surveillance software” to gather personal data.

The government has maintained that it would only seek the access for this specific phone and investigation. Numerous lawmakers and prosecutors have argued that tech firms should be willing let police through some of their defenses to prevent future attacks.

McAfee, though, believes the FBI would want a backdoor, which he called “idiotic.” Since the method it wants to use is based on software, the platform could eventually be replicated by malicious hackers, he argued.

He claims that he and a team of hackers could extract the data in three weeks without creating a backdoor. His arguments, of course, spark the question of why he could crack the phone without Apple’s help when the FBI could not.

McAfee argued that the U.S. government is “20 years behind the rest of the world” on cybersecurity.

“All of the great hackers are not the type who want to wear suits, shine their shoes and show up to work every day,” McAfee said, adding many talented hackers “want to smoke weed while they work.”

He said the U.S. is “ill-prepared” for increasingly complex cyberattacks launched from foreign soil.

The FBI and Apple did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.

LAKE WORTH, Fla. – New details have been released regarding a controversial and violent arrest caught on video in Palm Beach County.

Body camera video shows what led officers to a rough and bloody encounter that occurred earlier this year.

The violent takedown of Christopher Connelly, which has now been seen by tens of thousands on social media, is now being challenged in court.

The rough arrest happened back in February.

What led up to the arrest is being shown in the newly released body camera footage.

It shows Palm Beach County deputies responding to a call about a man refusing to leave a property in Lake Worth and causing a disturbance.

Officers said the man, identified as Connelly, was apparently under the influence.

They’re heard giving him multiple verbal commands, but Connelly refused to follow them.

Moments later, he made a run towards the property.

Witnesses recorded as deputies forced him down and struck him repeatedly.

Connelly is now being represented by attorney Pat Wilson.

“There will be a lot of people who see this video and say, ‘Hey, he had plenty of chances to leave and he didn’t.’ How do you respond to that?” asked Local 10 News’ Christian De La Rosa.

“Even if an officer tells someone to leave and they don’t, or tells them to leave and they run away, it doesn’t mean you get to beat them up and repeatedly hit him in the head,” Wilson responded.

Connelly was initially charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence, but since the release of the cellphone video, Wilson said the charge has been reduced to simple battery.

Local 10 News reached out the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for comment but have not received a response at the time of this story’s publishing

He contacted Those involved in the case and was offering his expertise and experience and started receiving strange responses. He felt there were inconsistencies in the behavior of the those involved like the Governor of CT, the Police chief of Newtown and various others who were involved. Mr. Halbig began noticing other inconsistencies about the case itself that did not match the official story.

“That’s not how police respond”. “Why no Trauma Helicopters”, asked Mr Halbig. “Who declared all those 27 people dead within the first 11 mins”, they didn’t allow paramedics and EMT’s into the school.

Wolfgang Halbig had 2 “homicide detectives” come to his house and threatened him for asking questions about Sandy Hook. The CT State Police were going to file felony charges against him for harassment for asking questions. ​

'What kind of man of God would do that?' | Ohio pastor who used bullhorn to incite mob on Jan. 6 sentenced to prison immediately

Afederal judge sentenced an Ohio pastor to two-and-a-half years in prison Thursday and ordered him to report immediately to jail for using a bullhorn to incite the mob against police on Jan. 6, 2021.

William Dunfee, 59, of Coshocton, Ohio, was convicted after a stipulated bench trial in January of one felony count of civil disorder and one misdemeanor count of entering and remaining in a restricted area. A second felony count, obstruction of an official proceeding, was dismissed in August following the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling narrowing the statute earlier this year.

Dunfee is the pastor of New Beginnings Ministries Warsaw in Ohio and partner in a construction company named Cross Builders. He was identified in part thank to the company-branded jacket he wore on Jan. 6.

Dunfee appeared in court Thursday for sentencing before U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton, who said he was disturbed by how Dunfee had used his position of trust as a pastor to not only urge others on the East side of the U.S. Capitol to knock down police barricades but to recruit reinforcements for the more pitched clash between rioters and police on the west side.

"What kind of man of God would do that, sir?" Walton asked him.

Dunfee faced a recommended sentencing guideline of 18-24 months, but Walton varied upward to 30 months, or two-and-a-half years. He also ordered him to serve three years of supervised release and pay a $10,000 fine and $2,000 in restitution. Although Walton was not required to order Dunfee immediately detained, he chose to do so — saying he believed in the current political climate he was a potential danger to the community. Dunfee will be held at the D.C. Jail until he is assigned to a federal facility by the Bureau of Prisons.

Federal prosecutors had sought four years in prison for Dunfee, saying unlike many other rioters who eventually wound up at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, he didn’t attend the “Stop the Steal” rally at the Ellipse. Instead, he went straight to the east side of the building, where he used a bullhorn to whip the crowd into a “frenzy.” Dunfee led other protesters in “Fight for Trump” chants and periodically turned his attention to police, who he demanded allow the crowd past barricades and to the steps of the Capitol.

Walton's decision to immediately detain Dunfee appeared to shock family and friends who'd attended the hearing in his support. As U.S. Marshals were preparing to take Dunfee into custody, one supporter who'd come to watch the proceeding said from the public gallery, "Thanks for standing for Jesus. Thanks for being a man of God."

In the 44 months since the Capitol riot, more than 1,500 people have now been charged with crimes ranging from entering a restricted area to seditious conspiracy. More than 900 have now been sentenced in connection to Jan. 6.
