After a couple weeks of controversy, the G4TV host Froskurinn purged all of her tweets, calling it “spring cleaning” and joked that she should have tweeted “oops.”

“Cleaned out socials and got several messages asking if I was hacked. All is well! Just had it for close to forever and decided on a spring cleaning. Poop jokes returning,” Frosk tweeted, a day after posting a link to a manager to connect with “drama YouTubers” for interviews.

Frost then tweeted: “Although I should have just tweeted “whoops”. That would have been much funnier.”

Froskurinn spoke out against the sexism she had experienced because “not as bangable as the previous host” while confessing that she was just reading scripts, like other hosts, and not actually playing some of the games. Frosk had taken more heat for being factually incorrect on some news stories and decided to just doubled down with more insults.

Republican social media sites on Saturday circulated an unverified recording of what they say is U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee unleashing a string of profanities at a staffer, calling him and another employee "two goddamn big-ass children" and "idiots."

Jackson Lee, a front-runner in Houston's open mayoral race, has long had a reputation as a demanding, sharp-talking boss. But any audio- or video-recorded evidence of her berating anyone has never surfaced, so the unverified recording immediately took off on social media, being re-shared thousands of times on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Before the undated recording hit social media, it was emailed anonymously to the Chronicle and other media on Friday morning, shortly before the beginning of early voting this upcoming Monday. The individual who shared it did not respond to repeated inquiries, sending the message under an apparent alias.

The Chronicle since Friday had been asking Jackson Lee's campaign staff if the voice on the recording is Jackson Lee's. On Saturday night, the campaign issued a statement that didn't answer that question, but instead tied the recording's release to Jackson Lee's leading mayoral contest rival, state Sen. John Whitmire.

“This is a low handed political tactic meant to discredit a thriving mayoral campaign and distract voters ahead of the early voting period,” Jackson Lee’s campaign said in its statement to the Chronicle. “It’s unsurprising that these attacks have originated from extremely conservative blogs and political operatives backing John Whitmire.”

The campaign for Whitmire, the other front-runner in the race for mayor, rejected any connection to the release of the recording.

“We don't know any of the people who put this out on Twitter,” said Sue Davis, Whitmire’s spokesperson. “We know nothing about it other than what everybody else does. And to try to accuse our camp of leaking it is just trying to take attention away from what is in the recording.”

In the 95-second audio clip, a woman is heard berating a man who sounds like a staffer, who was meekly explaining that a different member of a congressional team had the information she demanded about an assigned task.

“I want you to have read it. I want you to say, ‘Congresswoman, it was such and such date.’ That’s what I want,” the woman says in the recording, before lambasting him and the other staff member as “f---ed-ups and f---ing assholes,” "two goddamn big-ass children, f---ing idiots," who "serve no goddamn purpose."

"You ain't doing sh--, and this is an example of it,” she adds. The woman also makes reference to one person's weight.

The Chronicle reached out to current Jackson Lee staffers, and former staffers who seem to have been identified in the recording. None would verify the recording's authenticity.

Over the past three decades, critics have repeatedly attacked Jackson Lee and her top aides for demanding workloads and high turnover rates. Congressional staffers have also routinely voted for Jackson Lee as the “meanest” employer on Capitol Hill in Washingtonian Magazine’s “Best and Worst of Congress” lists.

LegiStorm, an online portal that monitors congressional staff, places Jackson Lee at the top of the list for historical turnover among Texas House members and tenants nationwide. Her turnover rate also has notably increased in recent years, placing her fourth among all U.S. House members in 2021 and 2022.

Jackson Lee previously told the Chronicle some of her loyal staffers have stuck with her throughout the years or have come back to work for her after some time. And those who've left, she said, have gone on to pursue successful careers elsewhere.

“What I can say is this, that everybody that leaves the office gets greater and greater because they have come from Sheila Jackson’s office,” she said. “I’ll always be proud of my staff and I wish them all well."

51 years after the film hit theaters, movie lovers are still gushing over the unique character who strummed a banjo in many memorable scenes. However, he has since done his best to vanish from the spotlight and now looks shockingly different from his character.

Billy Redden, now 66, shot to fame when he was just 15 years old by portraying Lonnie, a 'backwoods mountain boy' who blew everyone away with his banjo skills.

Since the film's release, he turned his back on both Hollywood and the banjo as he now takes on a string of jobs to make ends meet and looks nothing like he did when he rose to stardom over 50 years ago.

At the time of the film, Billy wasn't a trained actor but lived in Rabun County, Georgia, which is where the movie was shot.

He was cast due to his thin figure and narrow eyes that made him look like the perfect man for the part.

Despite the scene becoming famously known as the dueling banjos, it was later revealed that Billy had to wear a special shirt that allowed someone else to stick their hands through and play the banjo during filming since Billy wasn't musically trained.

Following the release of the movie, Billy tried to hold onto his fame for a short period by organizing tourist trips down the Chattooga River, which was featured in the movie.

He played 'banjo man' in a number of other films, including Tim Burton’s 2003 hit Big Fish, Outrage: Born in Terror, Blue Collar TV, and Blastfighter.

He officially left showbiz behind in 2009 and took on other jobs such as a cook, dishwasher, and store associate at Walmart to get by.

Since his departure from the spotlight, he has done everything possible to get rid of the image tied to those in his county that came from the film.

In the 2012 documentary, The Deliverance of Rabun County, he said: 'We're not a bad people up here, we're a loving people. Rabun County is a pretty good town. It's real peaceful, not a lot of crime going on. Everybody pretty much gets along with everybody.'

🚨NEWS ALERT: Emergency crews are attempting to recover trapped people after a major building collapse near the 770 Chabad Jewish Headquarters ⚠

It took months, perhaps years, for a small crew of Lubavitchers to dig a secret passageway underneath 770 Eastern Parkway, the famed Brooklyn headquarters of the Chabad movement.

They would not let it be filled so easily.

The tunnel was discovered in December and deemed a danger to the structure. But when a cement truck arrived on Monday to fill in the tunnel, students mounted a last stand.

Ripping off wood paneling in the women’s section of the sanctuary, the students revealed the cavernous space and jumped inside, refusing to leave.

The NYPD eventually made 10 arrests, and video showed several men in Hasidic garb being led out, their wrists bound with zip ties.

Reports said those behind the tunnel’s excavation had hoped to expand 770, but it was not obvious how the tunnel, which connected the synagogue to the defunct Chabad mikvah around the corner, accomplished that.

The chaos at 770 is the latest chapter in a multiyear battle. The Chabad-Lubavitch movement, despite holding the title to the property, does not control the sanctuary that spans the space below it. It has been locked in litigation with a Chabad synagogue over control of that space for decades.

⁣After 19 months of waiting Wolfgang Halbig finally received is FOIA hearing with key people in Sandy Hook. The hearing was scheduled for 3/31 and was canceled for unknown reasons without much notice to Mr. Halbig. Wolfgang Halbig is a concerned citizen with a history in Law Enforcement; Florida State Trooper, he was Executive director for the Children’s Safety Inst., Director of Risk Management, school principle, school & workplace Safety Expert Witness Consult. a U.S. Customs inspector.

Initially, like everyone else, Mr. Halbig believed the Official story and wanted to help in the efforts. Mr. Halbig even donated $ to the cause. He contacted Those involved in the case and was offering his expertise and experience and started receiving strange responses. He felt there were inconsistencies in the behavior of the those involved like the Governor of CT, the Police chief of Newtown and various others who were involved. Mr. Halbig began noticing other inconsistencies about the case itself that did not match the official story.

Mr Halbig has been featured on NBC’s DATELINE & CBS’s Good Morning America.

A nationally recognized school safety and security expert and consultant, he has provided safety training and school assessments for more than 8,000 school districts nationwide.

Wolfgang Halbig came to the U.S. at the age of 12 from Germany and moved to Florida and said it was a Privilege when he raised his right hand and became a citizen of this country. He said he was proud to become a citizen of this county, “I Loved America for what it was”.

I taught American History and what our forefathers sacrificed and we have to tell the truth to move forward”. Wolfgang Halbig saw there were “missing pieces” in the Official story of Sandy Hook and is seeking answers to very simple questions that are not offensive to parents , the school board or the town. for over a year they refused to answer any of Mr. Halbig’s FOIA requests.

Mr Halbig began questioning Sandy Hook about a week after the incident 12/14/2012. Every school emergency has 4 distinct time periods and Mr. Halbig was looking at the first 10 mins.

Police parked a quarter of a mile from the entrance of the school in the first 10 mins of the incident which made Wolfgang Halbig question the story.

“That’s not how police respond”. “Why no Trauma Helicopters”, asked Mr Halbig. “Who declared all those 27 people dead within the first 11 mins”, they didn’t allow paramedics and EMT’s into the school.

Wolfgang Halbig had 2 “homicide detectives” come to his house and threatened him for asking questions about Sandy Hook. The CT State Police were going to file felony charges against him for harassment for asking questions. ​
