Animals hopped up on cocaine is not a new concept; the February film “Cocaine Bear” loosely chronicled the bizarre true story of when a 175-pound black bear ingested cocaine that was thrown out of a drug smuggling plane in 1985.

However, with Discovery Channel’s Shark Week right around the corner, scientists have revealed the possible discovery of sharks in the Atlantic Ocean that have ingested cocaine.

Experts say that sharks may be gobbling up bales of drugs that were dumped into the water off the coast by smugglers.

Biologists studying the phenomenon reported seeing a hammerhead shark swimming into discarded packages and biting into them.

After ingesting the drugs, the sharks were observed to be behaving erratically, causing what scientists call “crazy brain.”

A documentary focusing on sharks on cocaine is set to premiere during Shark Week, which begins on Sunday.

CLAIM: A CNN report from Sept. 11, 2001, is evidence that no airplane debris was found at the site of the Pentagon attack.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. The CNN report was deceptively recut to make it seem as though a correspondent at the scene, Jamie McIntyre, said debris from an airplane had not been found. In the real footage, McIntyre says that debris had not been found anywhere except the Pentagon, and describes in detail the parts of the plane that he did see. There is also photographic evidence of airplane debris found at the crash site.

THE FACTS: On the 21st anniversary of 9/11 on Sunday, an old, false claim that no airplane debris was found at the Pentagon after the building was attacked reemerged in an Instagram post.

The post includes a short clip from CNN’s Sept. 11, 2001, coverage. Text above the clip reads, “THIS FOOTAGE AIRED ONCE AFTER 9/11 AND WAS NEVER ON TV AGAIN,” while the post’s caption claims that “every article or photo will show you ZERO debris at the alleged crash site at the pentagon.”

In the clip, then-CNN anchor Judy Woodruff says: “Jamie, you got very close to where that plane went down,” and McIntyre, at the time the network’s military affairs correspondent, responds: “That’s right Judy, a short while ago I walked right up next to the building as firefighters were still trying to put out the blaze that — the fire, by the way, is still burning in some parts of the Pentagon — and I took a look at the huge, gaping hole that’s in the side.”

He appears to continue by saying: “But from my close-up inspection, there’s no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. The only site is the actual site of the building that’s crashed in. And as I said, the only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you could pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, a fuselage, nothing like that anywhere around.”

My testimony about the Asbury Revival. It was surreal to say the least, the glory of God was all over that place. It is so hard to put to words what was going on, but I have done my best to paint the picture for you all. My takeaway and what I hope everyone takes away from this is this, revival starts with you. With me. With believers in dwelt with the Holy Spirit,where you are revival can and should be. It starts in your home, in your neighborhood and raising up your kids in the way they should go. It starts with you and your spouse, and your children on your knees crying out to the Lord and, worshiping and praising, and seeking His face. It starts in you, reading the word of God and living it out. A true revival doesn't have to be in one spot across the country. It should be everywhere, full on repentance and preaching the word, and it should be a domino effect with good, tangible fruit that lasts and brings thousands to salvation through Jesus Christ. I thank God for the experience this weekend with my children and what I have witnessed but I pray we all let this just be the beginning, and don't let it end at Asbury but overflow into every neighborhood, every household and family touched by the powerful 2 weeks in Asbury. Let it spread like wildfire for all to see and experience. I do believe that it's just the beginning of a true move of God.

The suspect accused of shooting and wounding two staff members at East High School Wednesday morning has been found dead in Park County, 9NEWS has learned.

Wednesday afternoon, law enforcement found a red Volvo associated with 17-year-old Austin Lyle on County Road 68, also known as Wellington Lake Road, outside of Bailey, the Park County Sheriff's Office said. Denver police said just before 6 p.m. that efforts to locate the suspect were ongoing.

Park County Sheriff Tom McGraw said Wednesday night that around 8:15 p.m., a person's body was found in the woods about two-tenths of a mile from the car. McGraw said the person's body has not been identified.

A law enforcement source told 9NEWS the body was that of Lyle, and that he died of an apparent suicide.

Park County had issued an emergency alert for the town of Bailey and the surrounding area due to the investigation. Residents were asked to shelter in place and call 911 if they see anything unusual.

McGraw said that shelter-in-place alert has been lifted.
