What was the story of The Third Man?
Set in postwar Vienna, Austria, "The Third Man" stars Joseph Cotten as Holly Martins, a writer of pulp Westerns, who arrives penniless as a guest of his childhood chum Harry Lime (Orson Welles), only to find him dead. Martins develops a conspiracy theory after learning of a "third man" present at the time of Harry's death, running into interference from British officer Maj. Calloway (Trevor Howard) and falling head-over-heels for Harry's grief-stricken lover, Anna (Alida Valli).
Kinda misses the point of the actual scenario - weaponizing calamity was one of the hidden themes of the movie - now, when I first watched this, none of what I now know came to the fore...but I did subconsciously take it all in
Some time later, I recalled the ferris wheel scene [my friend at the time told me to pay attention], and then it hit me - Orson Welles was one of the well poisoners!

Conservative commentator Candace Owens is openly feuding with a famous American rabbi after calling him “filth” for promoting his daughter’s line of adult products.
Owens, who claims to have been harassed by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and his daughter Chana Boteach for the past two years, responded to a post on Monday in which a user criticized the religious figure for advertising everything from lubrication to vibrators sold by his daughter.
“The unholy Rabbi Shmuley is now promoting a website that sells vibrators and butt plugs on behalf of his daughter,” Owens tweeted. “He thinks he’s somehow insulting me by doing this. FILTH.”
The rabbi shot back by accusing Owens of antisemitism, claiming that her disapproval of the sex toys had more to do with Israel than anything else.
“ANTI-SEMITE @RealCandaceO Atacked my daughters Kosher Sex Product Calling it ‘Filth,'” Shmuley said on X. “Did she say this because it happened to be made in Israel?”
Shmuley also used the opportunity to plug a discount code bearing Owens’ name that would allow customers to receive a discount from his daughter’s online store.
“Go to kosher.sex to get 10% off using the code ‘CandaceO,'” he added.
As noted by The Times of Israel, Chana opened a kosher sex shop in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2019.
Shmuley’s issues with Owens stem largely from her support for rapper Kanye West, who in recent years made numerous antisemitic remarks. She also feuded with Ben Shapiro over his enthusiastic support for Israel in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack.
Owens, on the other hand, described Shmuley as a “monster who has waged horrific campaigns against black and brown people in an effort to control our voices and destroy our relationships with one another.”
Shmuley insinuated over the weekend that he might bring a libel suit against Owens after the conservative “essentially said” that he “killed Michael Jackson … and that Jews run pedophile sex rings in Hollywood in order to blackmail African-American entertainers.”
In a March 7 episode of her show, Owens’ discussed Shumely and Jackson. Shmuley is intertwined in the death of Jackson, publishing a set of tapes months after he passed that sparked controversy.
Such a suit could also target Shapiro, who runs the media outlet the Daily Wire where Owens works.
“There can be no question that Candace’s serious defamation against me and the Jewish community must be met with a comprehensive lawsuit that will bankrupt her as well as Ben Shapiro,” Shmuley said.
The back-and-forth caught the attention of white nationalists such as Nick Fuentes, whose supporters have flooded X with remarks disparaging Shmuley and Jewish people altogether.
Whether Shmuley follows through with a lawsuit remains to be seen. Either way, it doesn’t appear that either Owens or Shmuley are backing down anytime soon.

There are so many red flags about all this. First, CM certainly needs to do a better job vetting its interviewees. This isn't the first one that later was exposed to have skeletons in their closet. But the accusers seem to be a group of emotionally damaged people, which may be expected from men who associate themselves with JLP, since his whole shtick seems very cult-like. (What legitimate leader has a house where he lives with followers?) CM could easily have done some background checking on JLP before claiming him "more "Catholic" than most ordained Catholics we encounter."
All in all, this seems like an attempt by CM to undo self inflicted damage it caused when it brought JLP into the studio and promoted him.

I will now share with you a true story.

I was NOT aware that Chancellor Palpatine was the Emperor until Revenge of the Sith.

How was that possible?!?

Until recently, I had not seen Return of the Jedi…and I have only a one-word answer to that:

Ewoks.

I could never make sense of how it was that little furry creatures lived in a bloody forest. It smacked of pandering to the fairer sex, who, I imagine, after first seeing the little buggers, practically cooed in the ears of anyone within earshot.

When Star Wars came out, I took the book with me, and read it while the movie played.

When Empire Strikes Back first showed, I had to leave because my sister freaked out when Han cut into the Taun-taun to keep Luke safe from the elements on Hoth. I got to see it not too long after that.

I never saw RotJ in the theater.

When the Phantom Menace came out, I thought that there was something a tad “off” about the Chancellor…but I couldn’t really put my finger on it.

Attack of the Clones should have made it clear that he was up to no good, but I simply didn’t have that prior knowledge.

Of course, it all came together in Revenge of the Sith – though his conversion to the Dark Side was clumsily done.

Now, you think I would have consulted some Star Wars Wiki that would ostensibly explain how Ewoks could live in a forest…but I didn’t much care…until I’d seen a promo of RotJ with the Emperor blasting Luke with Force Lightning.

Now I had to see it!

I sat through the bloody forest scenes, and got my payoff. Of course, I cannot find examples of other Jedis being taught the folly of attacking when the other Jedi has the “high ground“.

So…if you ever see me in person, please feel free to rib me on my missing Palpatine as the Emperor. I won’t zap you with Force Lightning…maybe.

The men were arrested later that day when the van was spotted driving near the NY Giants NFL stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. FBI agents stopped the men’s van and pulled them out. One of the men, Yaron Shmuel, vented his frustration at the incident to Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv, saying:“They pulled guns on us, threw us to the ground like terrorists, and citizens that were in the area yelled ‘shoot them in the head.’”
As the New York Times reported at the time, the five men were caught in the wide net thrown by American law enforcement officials, eager to be seen to be taking action after the actions of 9/11.
A report by the FBI cleared their names later that month. A field report published a few weeks later stated: “Both the Newark and the New York Divisions conducted a thorough investigation which determined that none of the Israelis had any information on prior knowledge regarding the bombing of the World Trade Center. Furthermore, Newark and New York determined that none of the Israelis were actively engaged in clandestine intelligence activities in the United States.”

Speaking to supporters in Virginia, Vice President Joe Biden said Republicans and Wall Street would put Americans "back in chains."

"They've said it. Every Republican's voted for it. Look at what they value, and look at their budget. And look what they're proposing," Biden said about Rep. Paul Ryan's budget proposal.

"[Romney] said in the first hundred days, he's going to let the big banks write their own rules — unchain Wall Street. They're going to put y'all back in chains," Biden said.

Biden also said that with voters' help, the Democratic ticket could win "North Carolina again."

The 'chains' comment was, to put it mildly, not ideal. Biden has been targeted by the GOP for his gaffes for months, but this one is a more loaded comment.

THE LEGEND OF THE ASTRONOMICAL Clock in the Old Town of Prague seems to have come straight from the Brothers Grimm. The dark tale is set in the fifteenth century, when the clock is said to have been created by the great clockmaker Mikuláš from Kadaň. Such was the reputation of his craftsmanship that Mikuláš was approached by many a foreign nation, each wishing to have its own town square topped with a marvelous astronomical clock. Mikuláš refused to show the plans of his masterpiece to anyone, but word got back to the Prague Councilors.

Overcome with fear that Mikuláš might build a bigger, better, and more beautiful clock for another nation, the Councilors had the brilliant clockmaker blinded, ensuring that their clock would never be topped. Driven mad, the clockmaker took the ultimate revenge, throwing himself into his extraordinary work of art, gumming up the clock’s gears and ending his own life in one stroke. In doing so, he cursed the clock. All who tried to fix it would either go insane, or die.

While this is only a legend, it stands as a testament to the extraordinary nature of the Prague Astronomical Clock. The clock has been modified, destroyed, and repaired many times since its creation in 1380. It is perhaps the most well-known astronomical clock in the world, with four moving automatons (including a skeleton ringing his death knell for each hour), and rotating statues of the 12 apostles. It displays Babylonian time, Old Bohemian time, German time, and Sidereal time. It also shows the moon’s phases and the sun’s journey through the constellations of the zodiac. The calendar dial, just below the clock, shows the day of the month, the day of the week, feast days and allegorical pictures of the current month and sign of the zodiac.

Though the legend of Mikuláš is apocryphal, Prague is not without a dark history - the cobblestones of the Old Town Square below the clock are marked with 27 crosses commemorating 27 beheaded Czech noblemen. Be sure to go upstairs for a tour of the interior of the fascinating clock.

In Czechia, the Prague Astronomical Clock is known simply as the Orloj, from the Latin word horologium.

As the saying goes, imitation is the highest form of flattery. When it was created, the Prague Astronomical Clock was an outstanding technological achievement. In modern times, Koreans fascinated by the Orloj built a working replica of the clock and the tower of the Old Town Hall. Their building in Seoul is called Castle Praha Hongdae.

Update January 2019: After nine months of restoration—the most extensive since the 1940s—the clock has been returned to its former glory and is back on view.

This ‘new’ angle of the South Tower hit is likely ‘legitimate’ in the sense that it was filmed by a bystander on that day and is not a CGI fraud. I say this because this new one is another dead giveaway of hologram technology. (CGI would not have the mistakes we see here.)

I suggest you carefully examine the video , frame by frame, starting at about 2 minutes in. First, the ‘aircraft’ suddenly turns into a silhouette — this also happens in a clip from my video — after being front lit; I assume this is a glitch of some kind in the hologram.

As if the above isn’t enough, when the plane gets close to the building the image disappears completely for at least three frames. In one previous frame the left wing disappears; this happens in other videos I’ve seen, which means the videos are ‘real’ in the sense that the aircraft images are in the camera, not added later in post, via CGI or whatever.


This is impossible lighting.

It’s another insult to our intelligences that they’ve posted this, given that it is more proof of fraud; nor do they mention in the text anything about the impossible lighting or the disappearance of the plane image.

And of course, an aluminum/plastic airplane could not (by the laws of physics) slice through a steel framed building. It would crumple on the facade with only bits and pieces making it to the interior of the structure.

# speaking of special effects and historical frauds, this is as good a place as any to mention another bit of evidence that the Apollo moon landings were faked, and done so by none other than Stanley Kubrick (using the same front screen projection he used in the ‘Dawn of Man’ segment of 2001: A Space Odyssey).

It’s well known that the Warner Bros. honchos were outraged by Kubrick’s cut of Eyes Wide Shut and demanded a major re-edit; some 24 minutes had to go. As we all know, the movie exposed the PTB for the sickos they are; this is obvious even from the bastardized travesty seen in theaters back in 1999 and since. I’d bet a valued possession that Stanley went way too far in his exposé: This was the issue behind the demand for a major re-edit (24 minutes is a lot of screen time!)

Kubrick had contractual control and refused. Six days later he’s dead and the movie is released with the re-edit.

Kubrick was murdered, obviously. That this is virtually never brought up by anyone is evidence of the fear the PTB have instilled in the zeitgeist.

Addendum: As most of you know, The Shining is chock full of references to the moon landings and Kubrick’s involvement in their fakery. Look it up, but my favorite, aside from Danny’s sweater, is the ‘All work and no play make Jack a dull boy’ bit. Right: ‘Apollo 11 work’ and so on.

You can bet Kubrick was warned about fucking around with shit like this. The date of EWS release might have been the straw that did it. Stanley had been warned…

Here’s what you probably haven’t heard. Contractually Kubrick demanded that Eyes Wide Shut be released on July 16, 1999. Is there a ring to that date? Right: The 30th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11.

⁣Video: Bike-Borne Robbers Attempt To Rob Woman In Argentina, Get Dose Of Instant Karma

Two motorbike-borne assailants who tried to rob a woman on the streets of Argentine capital Buenos Aires and got a dose of instant karma. Footage now going viral on social media shows the woman, who was actually a cop dressed in plain clothes, opening fire on the muggers and thwarting the attack.

According to Argentine news outlet Carlos Paz Vivo!, the incident happened last Wednesday. The suspects were in their late teens. A separate report by La Noticiade Quilmes said that both of them were arrested by the police.

Famous X account Colin Rugg also shared the video on his page. The clip has amassed over 3.3 million views, as per the video’s view counter.

They said that the incident happened at the intersection of General Manuel Savio and Bradley in Quilmes, Buenos Aires.

In the video, one of the bike-borne muggers is seen dismounting off the bike and moving towards the victim. The woman quickly turns and draws her service weapon and then fires three shots.

The first bullet struck the approaching mugger who collapsed immediately.

The policewoman, now on the ground, swiftly focused towards the other mugger, still on his bike.

The shooting stopped the robbery attempt and forced the muggers to flee and the policewoman escaped without injuries.

The thieves were arrested later when they visited a nearby hospital to seek treatment for gunshot wounds. One of the muggers arrived at the Iriarte Hospital. Cops arrested him after he matched the description of the attackers.

Hours later, staff at the Almirante Brown reported that another male with a minor wound on his left arm had been admitted to Oñativia Hospital in Rafael Calzada.
