Wanted to share something that happened today while shopping at Sam's club. A mother was leaning over looking for meat and turned around to find her 4 yr. old daughter was missing, I was standing there right beside her, well she was calling her daughter and no luck. I asked a man who worked at Sam's to announce it over the loud speaker for Katie. Well, he did, and let me say he walked past me when I asked and went to a pole where there was a phone right there to make his announcement for all doors, and gates to be locked a code something...so they locked all the doors at once. This took all of 3 min after I asked the guy to do this. They found the little girl 5 min later crunched in a bathroom stall, her head was half shaved, and she was dressed in her underwear with a bag of clothes, a razor, and wig sitting on the floor besides her. Whoever this person was, took the little girl, brought her into the bathroom, shaved half her head, undressed her in a matter of less than 10 min. Makes me shake to no end.
Please keep an eye out for your kids when in shopping places. It only took a few minutes to do all of this, another 5 min and she would have been out the door...I am still in shock some sick person could do this, let alone in a matter of minutes...The little girl is fine... thank God for fast workers who didn't take any chances. One of my brother's works at the Sam's Club in Murfreesboro, TN and yesterday he called me with some very disturbing news. As most stores, Sam's has different codes that are stated over the intercom throughout the store such as for extra help, severe weather, etc. Sam’s has a code called "Code Adam" for when a child becomes missing or is feared kidnapped. The store is immediately shut down and employees are instructed to go to an entrance/exit. That code was called yesterday at his store. A mother had her four year old daughter standing next to her as she was looking in the meat department. Then she noticed she was gone and notified a manager who then notified the store manager. Immediately, the "Code Adam" was called and all employees went to each exit in the store not allowing anyone to enter or exit. They found the little girl in the bathroom with the predator. Her head was partially shaved, she had on a different outfit, and a wig was found. This all happened within less than five minutes. Thank God Sam's Club has this sort of "code" or that little girl would have been gone.

Friend of Ana's went to Wonderland yesterday. She was with another friend too and together they had 4 children (each w 2). Kids were 4-5-6 years old. While they were busy w 1 of the 4 kids one of the other kids disappeared ... Literally. 5 year old girl.
After frantically searching for 2 minutes they alerted the Park's security who then searched the Park for the next 5-6 mins. The Park then closed all exits and would not allow anyone too leave while they continued to search for the next 45 mins.
Still they couldn't find her and the Park was forced to re-open the exits. The Police advised Ana's friend to focus on childrens' shoes and nothing else. So she watched the exits and mobs of people were leaving. She noticed 1 man carrying a sleeping child with a blanket over her. And the child's hair was a different colour but she said to the police that she had noticed a child wearing the same shoes but ....... it probably wasn't her child.
The police stopped the man and it turns out that it was indeed the right child. The child had been tranquillized by injection to the neck and was sleeping. Her hair had been cut short and had been spray painted a different colour. And all her clothing had been changed except .... her shoes. They got the perp and, thank God the child is fine.
Moral: don't take your eyes off your child for even 1 second. Unbelievable!!!

Although these warnings may contain some good advice, the legend they present exaggerates both the prevalence and manner of kidnappings. A child is far more likely to be snatched by a family member or ex-spouse in a custodial dispute than to be the victim of a random abduction. And rarely will kidnappers go through such elaborate procedures as the ones hinted at here -- luring a child outside where he or she can be quickly bundled into an automobile is far more effective and less risky than trying to smuggle one out the exit of a crowded public space. (Some of the examples presented above don't even make much logical sense. Why would abductors waste precious getaway time shaving a child's head — with a razor, yet — when they already had a wig on hand to disguise their victim's natural hair color and style?)
This form of tale that has been circulating for decades, always involving the kidnapping of children from family-type public places such as amusement parks and shopping centers. In the basic form of the legend, a kidnapper snatches a child away from an inattentive parent, drugs it, and hustles it into a restroom; there the abductor performs a quick haircut, dye job, and clothing change on the child to conceal its identity (and sometimes to obscure its gender) and wraps it in blankets before attempting to quickly and quietly spirit the child off the premises. Meanwhile, a vigilant security force has sealed off all the exits, and the attempted kidnapping is thwarted either because the kidnapper realizes he cannot escape undetected and simply abandons his intended victim in the bathroom, or because the child's parent is monitoring the exits (in person or via security cameras) and recognizes the youngster by its distinctive shoes, which the kidnapper has neglected to change or remove.
More malevolent versions of this story end not with the thwarting of the abduction attempt, but with the discovery of the child's original clothing on a restroom floor (along with other evidence of what had transpired, such as loose hair, scissors, and a bottle of hair dye). In these versions police tell the victims' parents they are powerless to recover their children (whom they warn are probably already on their way out of the country to be used as unwilling organ donors or sex slaves), and the parents are paid off to keep quiet about the abductions. Often the payoff for the parents' silence is claimed to be something absurdly small in value, such as free passes to the amusement park where the kidnapping took place, yet people continue to take the story at face value. The small-town communities where everyone knew everyone else, outsiders were few, and residents felt safe leaving their doors unlocked at night began to disappear; as people increasingly became part of large, impersonal urban centers, they began to develop fears about the relative anonymity and facelessness of their day-to-day lives. Gov. Kathy Hochul and other New York officials vowed Thursday to continue efforts to boost minority students’ access to the state’s colleges and universities despite the Supreme Court’s decision to ban race-based admissions.

In 6-3 affirmative action opinion, the nation’s highest court decided that using race as factor in college admissions violates Constitution’s 14th Amendment

“This is a dark day for equality and democracy,” Hochul said shortly after the decision by the nation’s top jurists was released.

But she said had already spoken to State University of New York Chancellor John King about the goal to admit more historically underrepresented students at its 64 campuses.

“Diversity is an important part of who we are,” Hochul said. “We want to make sure that New York is a place that celebrates diversity and inclusion.”

King and SUNY’s board of trustees, in a joint statement, blasted the SCOTUS ruling for pulling “our nation backward in the journey toward equity and civil rights” but said it will push to bolster minority admissions “within the law.”

“Race-conscious admissions policies have enriched our institutions and our nation. Yet despite the existence of race-conscious admissions policies, Black and Latino students, along with other groups, are still underrepresented across institutions of higher education as students, faculty members and administrators,” the SUNY brass said.

While the rulings in the related cases, Students for Fair Admissions vs Harvard University and vs University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, said colleges can’t explicitly use race and ethnicity as a preference in admissions, “we can use life experience as a factor,” SUNY Board Chairwoman Merryl Tisch told The Post.

A student’s race would certainly be part of life experience along with other considerations as Chief Justice Roberts mentioned in his majority ruling.

SUNY has come under fire from conservatives for pushing race-based “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Justice” programs, who’ve branded it “Woke U.” Discrimination complaints have been filed against SUNY’s Albany campus and Buffalo Law School for promoting racial preference programs for non-white students.

SUNY’s 64-campus study body combined is 53% white and 47% non-white combined including Black, Hispanic and Asian.

The leadership at the City University of New York said the ruling won’t impact its 25 campuses because 54% of its student body is already African-American Hispanic combined, 22% Asians and 24% white.

“CUNY as a system doesn’t depend on race-conscious admissions but as it is with any court ruling that affects higher education, we are carefully reviewing today’s decision and its impact, if any, on our admission practices,” a spokesperson said.

Some New York Asian-American education advocacy groups applauded the ruling, saying race-based preferences hurt high-performing, college-bound Asian-American students.

“We are thankful that the Supreme Court has finally ruled against decades of pernicious discrimination against Asian American students. Colleges have abused Affirmative Action for too long,” said a joint statement released by the Asian Wave Alliance, Chinese-American Citizen Alliance of Greater NY, NYC Residents Alliance and Parent Leaders for Accelerated Curriculum and Education (PLACE NYC).

“Discrimination by group identity is unconstitutional, un-American, and immoral. We call upon universities to comply with the law and stop in good faith to discriminate by race.”

New York Attorney General Leticia James will appeal a court decision that overturned a regulation issued by Governor Kathy Hochul that allows health department employees to arrest people suspected of exposure to a communicable disease, and imprison them indefinitely with no legal path for people to get out of detention!

Cattauragus County Supreme Court Judge Ronald Ploetz threw out the regulation in January declaring the scheme "absurd" and blatantly unconstitutional. But the Governor and Attorney General want to restore the power to seize anyone suspected, no evidence required and hold them for an indefinite period of time. You should wonder why they want that power.

Metro Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell said in a statement on Nov. 6 that he had directed the city’s legal director to initiate an investigation into the leak, but he didn't address the veracity of the documents. Other agencies were unable to verify the authenticity of the documents when asked to do so by The Epoch Times on Nov. 6.

“I have directed Wally Dietz, Metro’s law director, to initiate an investigation into how these images could have been released," Mr. O'Connell said in the statement. "That investigation may involve local, state, and federal authorities. I am deeply concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving."

A spokeswoman for MNPD said there was “no information” they could provide at this time when reached via phone on Nov. 6. So far, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said that they can offer no confirmation of the documents, according to a spokesman of the agency.

The manifesto, which one official described as "astronomically dangerous," was originally to set for release in May, until the Nashville Police Department (MNPD) reversed course, and said it would be released 'soon.'

One week after the stonewalling began, the National Police Association (NPA) joined the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in suing for all records related to the March 27 shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville.

“We have asked for any manifestos, emails, and any communications related to the case,” Betsy Brantner Smith, spokesperson for the National Police Association, told The Epoch Times.

Tennessee resident Clata Renee Brewer working with the NPA, filed the lawsuit on May 5. Theirs is at least the second lawsuit filed over the shooting.

The FBI also denied a request for Hale's manifesto.

Update (1740ET): The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said Monday that the three images included with the alleged first three pages of the Christian Covenant School shooter’s manifesto are not "crime scene images," the Daily Caller reports.

Conservative political commentator Steven Crowder posted photographs of three pages which he alleged are part of a manifesto written by the now-deceased Audrey Hale, who killed six people inside the Covenant School with a firearm in Nashville, Tennessee, back in March. An officer killed Hale as she continued opening fire on the second floor of the building.

“The MNPD is in communication with the Metropolitan Department of Law as an investigation, begun this morning, continues into the dissemination of three photographs of writings during an on-line discussion about Covenant School. The photographs are not MNPD crime scene images,” the statement reads.

Authorities confirmed they discovered a manifesto written by Hale in which she had allegedly planned the attack for several weeks. Following the shooting, authorities obtained the manifesto, which is under an ongoing investigation by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). -Daily Caller

And while the MNPD wouldn't confirm the authenticity of the writings, Fox Nashville did.

Report: Witness Tried To Save Obama Chef Before Drowning Accident
The unnamed witness said Tafari Campbell lost his balance on a paddleboard, fell into the water and was unable to find his bearing.

Tafari Campbell, the Obamas’ personal chef who drowned near their Martha’s Vineyard estate, was paddleboarding with another person who tried to rescue him, MassLive.com reports.

According to the unnamed witness, Campbell was standing on his paddle board before losing his balance and falling into the water. After swimming to shore, the witness explained what happened to another bystander and 911 was called, the report read.

In his last moments, Campbell struggled to stay above water. He was not wearing a life jacket and was not leashed to the paddleboard at the time of his death.

After rescue teams were deployed that included divers and flight and boat crews, Campbell’s body was recovered on Monday (July 24) from Edgartown Great Pond “at approximately 100 feet from shore at a depth of about eight feet.”

Massachusetts State Police also confirmed in a statement that another paddleboarder attempted to save Campbell but “did not reach him in time.”

“The other paddleboarder then swam to shore and notified a person on shore of what had happened,” the statement read.

“That person placed a 911 call to the Dukes County Regional Emergency Communications Center, which initiated an immediate emergency search and rescue response by numerous public safety agencies,” the statement continued.

Following an autopsy, no evidence was discovered to suggest that the death was suspicious, and “no trauma or injuries were found on Campbell’s body,” the MSP said.

The Obamas expressed their grief at the sudden death of Campbell who worked as a sous chef during their time in the White House. He became the family’s personal chef at the end of President Barack Obama’s two-term presidency.

“In the years that followed, we got to know him as a warm, fun, extraordinarily kind person who made all of our lives a little brighter,” the Obamas said in a statement. “That’s why, when we were getting ready to leave the White House, we asked Tafari to stay with us, and he generously agreed. He’s been part of our lives ever since, and our hearts are broken that he’s gone.

“Today we join everyone who knew and loved Tafari — especially his wife Sherise and their twin boys, Xavier and Savin — in grieving the loss of a truly wonderful man.”
