Purdy was arrested by Tonga police in October 2022, when an
eight‑year‑old boy disclosed that Purdy sexually assaulted him during
their tutoring sessions. When Purdy was released from jail, he allegedly
continued to sexually abuse children. In March 2023, just prior to his
scheduled trial, Purdy fled Tonga using an assumed identity and returned
to Utah. The investigation thus far has identified 14 minor victims
throughout Tonga.

My official NNR show account had been suspended on October 18th, 2025. I was told this was due to "authenticity" and "spam", but do nothing that would justify that. I am now relegated to my personal account (this one) that was created back in 2024, and am repeatedly appealing this unjust suspension.
I did nothing involving "spam", and can only think that this happened because I unblocked about 7000 accounts, because the account had a ton of blocked accounts, that was done with a mass blocker prior to the Musk takeover of Twitter.
I sought to fix this ratio of 7000 blocks to 5500 followers, which suppresses account growth, and it seems this mass-unblocking was understood by their system as "platform manipulation" when it was simply trying to fix the problem of having a massive block list.
Please help me connect with the same people who followed my official show account.

Fanfare continues with inventory stories, but this one is of interest because it was originally meant to be the fourth part of the Questprobe series, originally meant to be twelve issues, that was cancelled when Scott Adam's Adventure International company went under.
The Hulk and Fantastic Four issues of this series had to make some minor adjustments to ensure that the characters appearing in the game were appropriately "classic" (the Hulk story ignored Hulk's Banner-brain status, and the FF issue had the Chief Examiner pick up the Thing from the Secret Wars Battleplanet instead of using She-Hulk), but this one doesn't seem to make any concessions and indeed it's Magneto who winds up going through the portal into the Questprobe game. I understand that the unfinished game is available for download on the internet, but i couldn't even get the finished games working on my computer, so i don't know if you actually played as Magneto, which would have been pretty interesting.
Creator-wise, this is by far the best team to work on a Questprobe story. Claremont writing the X-Men, and art by June Brigman and Terry Austin inks? No doubt about Milgrom's decision to publish this in Fanfare (Bob Budianksy was the original editor of this issue when it was part of the Questprobe series. Al Milgrom is of course the Editor of Marvel Fanfare.).
The story offers a few twists on the standard Questprobe formula, and continues to develop the plot. We start with the X-Men relaxing on Magneto's island in the Bermuda Triangle while he packs up some equipment. It's a bit difficult to relax due to all the creepy statues...
...but they do their best until the statues start coming to life.
The statues touch is petrifying, and most of the X-Men, and Lee Forrester, are turned to stone, leaving just Magneto and Rogue. The Chief Examiner shows up as well, trying to get Magneto into his portal.
Rogue bumps into the portal and, in a cool move, she absorbs the powers of all the heroes that have passed through it previously: Hulk, Spider-Man, and the Human Torch (i guess the Thing's strength is mixed in with Hulk's).
Magneto's fight with the Examiner also has the unexpected effect of freeing the evil Bio-Gem that was secretly controlling the Examiner. The Examiner's body becomes inert and Magneto is possessed by the Gem.
On the Astral Plane, Magneto works with the Examiner's creator, Durgan, to restore Durgan's control.
When things are set right, Magneto willing enters the portal...
...and then the Examiner heads off to continue his quest, refusing further help from the X-Men.
Magneto wonders if Durgan's unorthodoxy - his people have eschewed all violence even as their race is threatened by the Black Fleet, and Durgan is taking on the fight by himself - will cause him to lose all that he and his people hold ideal. It's an interesting consideration in light of Magneto's own confession that his fight for mutant rights was actually the primary cause of anti-mutant sentiment.
The MCP doesn't list the Chief Examiner as appearing in this issue; not sure if it's a miss or if the later Quasar stories that pick up on the dangling threads here reveal something.
We learn a little bit more about Magneto's island. Storm says:
Horrible creatures inhabited the citadel and committed such unspeakable atrocities that the very stones radiate a primal malevolence which neither time nor effort can ever exorcise.
And then Kitty:
Those ancients were weird, all right, but they were no dummies, I've been examining the statues -- they're not stone. It's some form of crystalline circuity matrix. They're devices!
It's really just setting up the statues to attack, but it's another clue to this unresolved mystery.
Quality Rating: B-
Historical Significance Rating: 1
Chronological Placement Considerations: The MCP places this after Uncanny X-Men #201. The X-Men are back on Magneto's island, for a vacation but also presumably to pick up some of Magneto's stuff to bring it back to the X-Mansion.
References:
When Rogue has the powers of the Hulk, she compares it to when she absorbed She-Hulk's powers in Uncanny X-Men annual #7 (incorrectly footnoted as annual #9; thanks, Michael!).
That's the only footnote in the issue, but let me link to Questprobe #1, Questprobe #2, and Questprobe #3.

At Tuesday’s Pima County Board of Supervisor’s meeting, online attendees were treated to a bit of a skin flick when a man bared himself while Supervisor Matt Heinz was zooming into the meeting. Heinz quickly shut the camera off when he saw the man appear behind him on his computer.
According to various sources, Heinz has appeared almost exclusively at Board meetings via Zoom, citing fear of Covid exposure. The same sources say that he has made other appearances via Zoom while on cruise ships.
In the video, which appears to be shot from either a hospital room or cruise ship cabin, Heinz is listening intently to a discussion of the highly questionable election process employed by Pima County, when a man wearing a speedo-type under garment and tank top emerges from out-of-screen behind him, pulls up his tank top and exposes a well-conditioned and seemingly young body to the viewing public. A startled Heinz then quickly turns off his computer’s camera function.
Former Supervisor Ally Miller tweeted, “I thought the pot smoking on the 11th floor of Pima County BOS was bad enough. Now we get to view cruise ship activities of the Board of Supervisors. Praying Dr. Heinz doesn’t get covid,” in response to a post from the Protect Tucson Public Safety Twitter page: During a Pima County Board of Supervisor’s Meeting today, there was an accidental appearance in the background on Matt Heinz’s video feed.

While Heinz, who is an emergency room doctor, enjoyed a reputation as a fairly friendly member when he served in the Arizona Legislature, he has earned a reputation for being a bully on the Board of Supervisors. From calling small, unmasked children “little Typhoid Mary’s” to illegally snapping at members of the public when they dare to challenge his decisions during the Board’s Call to the Public periods, Heinz has alienated colleagues and members of the public.
Heinz has been very careful to avoid controversy since the days he was called out by his fellow Democrats for befriending the controversial former Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babue, who was under attack by his former lover. In that case, Babue, a Republican who presented himself as a border security hawk, allegedly threatened his Mexican ex-lover with deportation when the man refused to promise never to disclose their years-long relationship.
The Arizona Daily Independent reached out to Supervisor Heinz for a comment, but he has not responded.

During a Pima County Board of Supervisor’s zoom meeting Tuesday, a half-naked man wearing female underwear was seen in the background of one of the supervisor’s video broadcasts.
Matt Heinz, the 45-year-old openly-gay Democrat supervisor of Arizona’s Pima County District 2, quickly rushed to turn his video feed off when he realized his male acquaintance was in the background.
The four other Pima County supervisors appeared in person for the meeting while Heinz appeared virtually.
The interruption to Heinz’s stream occurred over two hours into the meeting.
Heinz, a physician at Tuscon Medical Center, first gained notoriety in 2008 when he was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives, becoming one of the first openly gay member in the state’s legislature.
Heinz served in Arizona’s house until 2012 and lost two US House races in 2016 and 2018 before being winning the District 2 Pima County supervisor election in 2020.
(RELATED: CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin Suspended From New Yorker For Showing Penis During Zoom Call)
In December 2021, Heinz made headlines after advocating for a countywide mask mandate.
The county supervisor called for an indoor mask mandate in public and private schools, but the measure was rejected in a 3-2 vote in April 2021.
Social media users expressed outrage over Heinz’s zoom call blunder. “Too busy to show up at work because he was busy boinking?” one Twitter user questioned.
“Is this unprofessional conduct by a physician?” another asked.
It is unclear if the 45-year-old county supervisor is in a relationship. There is no record of marriage listed on Pima County website bio.

Trump ad: Clinton emails ‘found on pervert Anthony Weiner’s laptop’
Washington
(CNN)
—
Donald Trump’s campaign released a new ad Thursday tying Hillary Clinton to disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose sexting led to an FBI review of emails that could be potentially related to her private server.
The ad, titled “Unfit,” is rife with claims that are not yet borne out by facts that have been made public in the FBI’s new review of the emails.
For example, at one point the ad says, “America’s secrets and sensitive emails unlawfully sent, received and exposed by Hillary Clinton, her staff and Anthony Weiner.”
There is no evidence to support this claim.
“Decades of lies, cover-ups and scandal have finally caught up with Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton is under FBI investigation again,” the narrator says as the spot opens. “Her emails were found on pervert Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Think about that.”
The FBI told Congress last week it is reviewing emails from Clinton aide Abedin after finding them on a laptop belonging to Weiner, her estranged husband. The agency is investigating whether the former lawmaker had inappropriate sexual contact online with an underage girl.
The Clinton campaign has repeatedly criticized the FBI for announcing the review so close to the closing days of the 2016 race without providing many details. FBI Director James Comey has said that some emails could be “pertinent” to the bureau’s review of Clinton’s email server – an investigation that did not result in criminal charges over the summer – but the review is not expected to be completed by Election Day.
The spot, which the Trump campaign said is running nationally, ends by saying Clinton is “unfit to serve” as president because she is “crippled by a criminal investigation,” but the FBI has not said Clinton herself is the subject of an investigation.
The Trump campaign also released a statement saying Clinton’s latest scandal has kept her from focusing on the issues that matter most to voters.
“While Mr. Trump has spent the closing weeks of this campaign drawing huge crowds of Americans hungry for a common sense change agent who will bring our jobs back and strengthen our borders, Crooked Hillary Clinton has been busy living in an alternate reality where her litany of email scandals and FBI investigations don’t disqualify her from running for President,” said Jason Miller, the campaign’s senior communications adviser.
Let's talk about Mega Corp @Cancelcloco with a video
Source: https://twitter.com/ThrillaRil....la369/status/1765105
Thumbnail: https://www.foxnews.com/media/....blackrock-ceo-larry-
FIRST ON FOX: BlackRock CEO Larry Fink might see his own face on unflattering mobile billboards outside his New York City office after irking conservatives who feel he rebranded the polarizing environment, social and governance (ESG) investment criteria in order to push it without consequences.
Consumers' Research executive director Will Hild, who recently blasted Fink and BlackRock as the "poster children for ESG," launched a mobile billboard campaign calling attention to the high-powered executive’s recent comments.
Fink said on Sunday he’s "ashamed" to be part of the debate surrounding ESG, and insisted the term has been "misused by the far left and far right."
When pressed, Fink reportedly declared he believes in "conscientious capitalism" and simply won’t use the term ESG going forward.
"Since Consumers’ Research started its campaign against woke capitalism and ESG, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink has been feeling the heat and now can't get his story straight," Hild told Fox News Digital. "He's pushed a far-left, progressive agenda with other people’s investment dollars for years, got caught, and now he's talking out of both sides of his mouth, launching a transparent effort to rebrand ESG to ‘conscientious capitalism’ so he can continue to push his radical agenda without criticism,."
"Consumers’ Research launched our mobile billboard campaign ‘Attack of the Memes’ to remind ESG elites like Larry Fink, BlackRock, and others that they are on notice: We are watching, and a change in semantics is not a change in policy," Hild continued. "They need to start serving their customers, not woke politicians."
One of the mobile billboards is a spoof on a famous "Mad Men" scene, but advertising guru Don Draper is replaced by Fink as he presents an idea to help the company. "ESG, but we call it ‘conscientious capitalism," the mock sales pitch states in a clear play on Fink’s recent comments.
In the second mobile billboard the Consumers’ Research take on a popular meme in which a man wearing a red shirt and white gloves is nervously sweating from his forehead while debating which button to press. The sweaty man is Fink and the buttons state "ESG" and "ESG by a different name."
The mobile billboards began circling the block that houses BlackRock in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning and will continue to circle the Hudson Yards headquarters during business hours through next week.
BlackRock did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Consumers’ Research, which describes itself as a "nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the knowledge and understanding of issues, policies, products, and services of concern to consumers and to promote the freedom to act on that knowledge," has defined ESG on its website.
It states, "ESG stands for Environmental, Social, Governance and is used as an investment strategy to ‘encourage’ organizations to ‘act responsibly.’ ESG works by analyzing organizations across three criteria — their environmental footprint, their stance on social issues, and internal corporate governance."
The entry claimed that "political activists use ESG as a way to drive a progressive agenda and ideological allies in the business community help push this agenda through economic coercion and ignoring democratic processes."
Hild believes ESG is similar to critical race theory, in that some elements of the polarizing issue are branded CRT, but many others have CRT-associated ideas that aren’t labeled as such. He’s not sure that BlackRock ditching the ESG moniker will actually force the company to make changes to the way it pushes "a far-left, progressive agenda," but promised Consumers' Research will continue to monitor BlackRock’s actions.
Consumers' Research has put a spotlight on Fink’s company with its 2021 "About BlackRock" campaign that has called the top executive the "architect of woke capitalism" that focuses on ties to China, along with ESG.
Fink previously responded to ESG critics in a letter to CEOs in 2022.
The ESG movement "is not about politics. It is not a social or ideological agenda. It is not 'woke,'" Fink wrote. "It is capitalism, driven by mutually beneficial relationships between you and the employees, customers, suppliers, and communities your company relies on to prosper … Make no mistake, the fair pursuit of profit is still what animates markets; and long-term profitability is the measure by which markets will ultimately determine your company's success."
Republican leaders on the House Financial Services Committee created a task force in February to coordinate a response to ESG investment criteria.

Did soldiers in Vietnam see demons in their night vision goggles?
The answer is yes, they kind of did.
The same questions always come up when I start talking about Dicyanin. People always want to regurgitate the urban legends they heard about Dicyanin on the internet. One of these stories is from years ago where somebody got on a podcast and claimed that during Vietnam there was a new type of night vision goggle that allowed soldiers to see demons and entities out in the jungle and it was driving them mad.
As much as this sounds like an exaggeration, I actually have some documentation here from the U. S. Naval Academy that indicates that is exactly what soldiers were reporting. The document is called, The Secret of Seeing Charlie in the Dark, by Richard A. Ruth of the Department of History of the U. S. Naval Academy
He indicates that though they used the new scopes in the field and they offered a tactical advantage, the users who used them endured physical, psychological, and emotional stress unforeseen by military leaders. Now, why would an optical tool? Give profound psychological stress. Let's read exactly what he says.
In other intimate mythologies of the war, the eerie green landscape generated by the starlight scope was populated by ambiguous entities. Fatigue, stress and fear exacerbated the tendency in some soldiers to miss. Interpret the images they saw through the scope. Soldiers described dragons and other supernatural creatures appearing from within the writhing phosphorescent murk of the starlight scope landscape.
One former medic recalled using a starlight scope to monitor hundreds of dead enemy bodies after a particularly intense firefight, only to discover in the morning that the corpses were just a hallucination. Now, do military medics usually hallucinate hundreds of dead enemy corpses laying on the ground, or was this person seeing something quite unique?
One patrol boat captain actually said that viewed in the eerie green glow, everything on the bank of the river seems to move. Bushes become Animate, and the device transformed the nightscape into something akin to an LSD hallucination. I have another article here from the Army Research and Development magazine about another type of night vision called a ThermoViewer, which was even more advanced than the Starlight Scope from the other article.
Starlight Scope. Enhances the ambient light at night while the Thermoviewer didn't need any light whatsoever And in these two pictures it actually has a soldier sitting here in foliage and leaves And you can see what he looks like through that new technology and how eerie it really is And this was being made public in 1972 So who knows how long they had been testing it before that?
Also, i'd like to take this opportunity to point out the fact that neither of these technologies used red lenses. I don't know where the red lens meme came from, but that is not a thing that ever existed. I'm here trying to show you what did exist. Now the tone in these articles is very typical academic debunker nonsense where they narcissistically try to gaslight people out of believing the things they witness with their own eyes.
Like the army medic who saw a whole field of dead bodies that just apparently were apparitions. Apparently the soldiers in Vietnam are Easy targets. It's easy to write off the things that they reported as stress or drugs or, you know, an unhinged mind. But, in reality, they were making these claims. They were saying that this technology was allowing them to see very interesting things out there, and it was inexplicable to them.
Seeing very interesting, energetic things that don't seem to have any physical body is very typical of what myself and others have experienced with things like our Dycyanin Aura Goggles. And also, uh, the night vision device that I actually built here that's built with a night vision module from an old tank.
I use this for astronomy, and I've seen some very interesting things in the sky using this, though it is different technology from the starlight scope. And there is a historical precedent to using filters in the infrared range, uh, to witness things in the sky. The work of Trevor James Constable.
Trevor James Constable was a UFO experiencer started in the, uh, 1950s at, with the Giant Rock events in George Van Tassel. And he, uh, his work went all the way through, I believe, the 2000s when

If you have ever wondered who the “they” is when people say they did this or they did that, especially when they are talking about treason, sedition, subversion of the President, and going against the will of the American people, who is behind all of this? Dr. Timothy Shindelar, a former United States Marine Corps Colonel, U.S. Army War College graduate, and brave federal whistleblower who has been working on this for nearly a decade, has some of those answers.
He breaks down how a hidden command and control structure has allowed agencies to move in lockstep to suppress the truth, protect political allies, and silence whistleblowers. From Fast and Furious to IRS targeting to Russia collusion and the Ukraine impeachment, the same system keeps appearing: the Council for the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, created in 2008 with support from both parties.
Shindelar explains how this council has been used to shield powerful figures, bury investigations, and retaliate against whistleblowers despite legal protections. Even selecting Anthony Fauci as a guest of honor sent a clear message across the government that he was untouchable. Whistleblower Dr. Timothy Shindelar exposes how this structure works and how it has been used against the American people.

Engel v. Vitale | The First Amendment Encyclopedia (mtsu.edu)
Engel v. Vitale (1962)
By David L. Hudson Jr.
Related cases in Public Schools and Religion, Establishment Clause
This 1962 photo shows some of the parents and children who brought suit against public schoolroom prayer in Engel v. Vitale (1962). In this case, the Supreme Court said the prayer violated the First Amendment. (AP Photo, used with permission from the Associated Press)
In Engel v. Vitale, 370 U.S. 421 (1962), the Supreme Court ruled that school-sponsored prayer in public schools violated the establishment clause of the First Amendment. The case involved a 22-word nondenominational prayer recommended to school districts by the New York Board of Regents: “Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our Country.”
Parents said officially sponsored school prayer violated the First Amendment
The Union Free School District in New Hyde Park, N.Y., adopted the recommendation and instituted a practice whereby teachers led students in the prayer every morning. The practice was voluntary, and students could be excused without punishment upon written request from their parents.
Steven Engel and several other parents challenged the officially sponsored prayer as a violation of the First Amendment. Engel, a Jewish man, believed that the state should not impose a one-size-fits-all prayer upon children of many different faiths or no faith. The plaintiffs lost before the Supreme Court of New York in 1959, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York in 1960, and the Court of Appeals of New York in 1961, none of which viewed the prayer practice as the establishment of an official religion.
Engel and the others appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, which ruled in favor of the parents in a 6-1 vote (Justices Felix Frankfurter and Byron R. White did not participate).
Supreme Court struck down the prayer
Writing for the majority, Justice Hugo L. Black focused on the history of religious discrimination and intolerance in England and the early Colonial days of the United States. This history, according to Black, showed that by the time of the adoption of the U.S. Constitution Americans had a “widespread awareness . . . of the dangers of a union of Church and State.”
Black did not cite a single U.S. Supreme Court case in the text of his majority opinion, although he cited Everson v. Board of Education (1947) in a footnote. Instead, he cited a variety of secondary sources on the history and struggle for religious liberty. According to Black, “the First Amendment was added to the Constitution to stand as a guarantee that neither the power nor the prestige of the Federal Government would be used to control, support or influence the kinds of prayer the American people can say.”
Black concluded that “government in this country should stay out of the business of writing or sanctioning official prayers and leave that purely religious function to the people.”
Justice William O. Douglas wrote a concurring opinion, contending that “once government finances a religious exercise it inserts a divisive influence into our communities.”
Justice Potter Stewart wrote the lone dissent. He argued that the majority “misapplied a great constitutional principle” and denied public schoolchildren “the opportunity of sharing in the spiritual heritage of our Nation.” He noted that history and tradition showed many religious influences and elements in society, such as “In God We Trust” on the nation’s money, opening sessions of the Supreme Court with “God Save This Honorable Court,” the opening prayers in Congress, and the many acknowledgments of God by various presidents in public speeches.
Decision caused public outrage and criticism
The decision caused outrage among many and harsh criticism of the Warren Court. Engel said that he and his family members suffered obscene phone calls, taunts, and community ostracism.
The decision led the Court to strike down similar school-sponsored prayers in the consolidated cases of Abington School District v. Schempp and Murray v. Curlett (1963).
Principles of Engel have been extended to other cases
The principles of Engel have been extended by Court decisions invalidating an Alabama law requiring a moment of silence that appeared to have been rewritten specifically to encourage school prayer in Wallace v. Jaffree (1985), a middle school graduation school prayer in Lee v. Weisman (1992), and prayer at high school football games in Santa Fe Independent School District v. Doe (2000).
David L. Hudson, Jr. is a law professor at Belmont who publishes widely on First Amendment topics. He is the author of a 12-lecture audio course on the First Amendment entitled Freedom of Speech: Understanding the First Amendment (Now You Know Media, 2018). He also is the author of many First Amendment books, including The First Amendment: Freedom of Speech (Thomson Reuters, 2012) and Freedom of Speech: Documents Decoded (ABC-CLIO, 2017). This article was originally published in 2009.
