🚨NEWS ALERT: Emergency crews are attempting to recover trapped people after a major building collapse near the 770 Chabad Jewish Headquarters ⚠

Were their illegal tunnels responsible for this?

It took months, perhaps years, for a small crew of Lubavitchers to dig a secret passageway underneath 770 Eastern Parkway, the famed Brooklyn headquarters of the Chabad movement.

They would not let it be filled so easily.

The tunnel was discovered in December and deemed a danger to the structure. But when a cement truck arrived on Monday to fill in the tunnel, students mounted a last stand.

Ripping off wood paneling in the women’s section of the sanctuary, the students revealed the cavernous space and jumped inside, refusing to leave.

The NYPD eventually made 10 arrests, and video showed several men in Hasidic garb being led out, their wrists bound with zip ties.

Reports said those behind the tunnel’s excavation had hoped to expand 770, but it was not obvious how the tunnel, which connected the synagogue to the defunct Chabad mikvah around the corner, accomplished that.

The chaos at 770 is the latest chapter in a multiyear battle. The Chabad-Lubavitch movement, despite holding the title to the property, does not control the sanctuary that spans the space below it. It has been locked in litigation with a Chabad synagogue over control of that space for decades.

Ancestry Composition
First, you may have evidence of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry in your Ancestry Composition Report (Figure 1). DNA clearly shows connections among those who consider themselves to be Ashkenazi Jewish: two Ashkenazi Jewish people are very likely to be "genetic cousins," sharing long stretches of identical DNA. This reflects the fact that the Ashkenazi Jewish population expanded relatively recently from a small initial population.

Maternal Haplogroup
Second, you may have evidence of Jewish ancestry in your mitochondrial haplogroup (also known as a maternal haplogroup), available in the Maternal Haplogroup Report. The mitochondrial haplogroup is determined from your mitochondrial DNA, which is passed from mothers to their children (Figure 2).

Four mitochondrial haplogroups are found at high frequency in people of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry and rarely found in non-Ashkenazi Europeans: N1b, K1a1b1a, K1a9, and K2a2a. Therefore, Europeans carrying one of these haplogroups likely have Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry on their mothers-only line. However, approximately half of people with Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry do not carry one of these four haplogroups, so having a different haplogroup does not mean you don't have Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.

Paternal Haplogroup
Third, you may have evidence of Jewish ancestry in your Y-chromosome haplogroup (also known as a paternal haplogroup), available in the Paternal Haplogroup Report. The Y-chromosome haplogroup is determined from the Y chromosome, which is passed from fathers to their sons (Figure 3). Only men have Y chromosomes, but if a close paternal relative (for example, your father, brother, or paternal uncle) has also been genotyped, you can learn about your paternal ancestry from his haplogroup.

As is the case for mitochondrial haplogroups, several Y-chromosome haplogroups are far more common among Ashkenazi Jews than among other Europeans. Carrying one of these paternal lineages may indicate Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.

NOAH’S FLOOD: THE KEY TO CORRECT INTERPRETATION OF EARTH HISTORY
Abstract
One of the main reasons that people trained in the sciences today ignore the account in the Torah of a recent global Flood cataclysm is that they are persuaded that the standard geological timescale is in large measure correct. This paper reviews research that shows that the key assumption underpinning that timescale, namely, the time invariance of nuclear decay processes is false. That conclusion is being affirmed by increasing numbers of publications reporting soft tissue preservation in animal fossils from deep in the geological record. With the barrier of the timescale removed, spectacular physical evidence for a global catastrophic Flood of the sort described in the Torah and Quran becomes obvious. The complete destruction of all land-dwelling, air-breathing life on earth, except that preserved on the ark of Noah, as described in these accounts, immediately suggests that the fossils preserved in the sediment record must represent plants and animals destroyed in the Flood. The logical place in the rock record for the onset of this cataclysm therefore must be where five striking global-scale geological discontinuities—a mechanical-erosional discontinuity, a time/age discontinuity, a tectonic discontinuity, a sedimentary discontinuity, and a paleontological discontinuity coincide (Snelling 2009, 707-711). This unique boundary lies at the base of the Ediacaran in the late Neoproterozoic part of the geological record. Where Ediacaran sediments are missing, it coincides with the Precambrian-Cambrian boundary where Cambrian sediments are present. The identification of this boundary with the onset of the Flood implies that a staggering amount of tectonic catastrophism also must have accompanied the large amount of erosion and sedimentation involved. This paper summarizes some of the work done over the past thirty years to apply numerical modeling to investigate various aspects of this year-long event that dramatically refashioned the face of the earth.
Introduction
The account of Noah’s Flood in the Torah, when interpreted according to the normal sense of the words, speaks of a global scale cataclysm that destroyed all the air-breathing terrestrial life on earth within the span of a single year. Indeed, the Flood is the only event mentioned in the Torah since the creation of the earth itself up to the present capable of producing global-scale geological change. Certainly an event of this magnitude should have left an abundance of physical evidence across the face of the earth. Many well-trained people today claim there is no such evidence. What is behind such a conclusion?
A crucial assumption underlying the conclusion of no evidence is that the standard geological timescale is generally correct. Under this assumption, as one surveys the evidence, it is unambiguously clear that there was no global-scale event that destroyed the earth’s air-breathing life on a massive scale sometime the third millennium BC. The issue is plain. Either the standard time scale is correct and there was no Flood as described in the Torah, or the time scale is incorrect in a profound way and a global Flood cataclysm is a genuine possibility. I and several of my colleagues have come to the conclusion that the latter choice is the one that corresponds to reality.
In this paper I review briefly the results of the Radioisotopes and the Age of the Earth (RATE) research effort completed in 2005 that found several independent lines of radioisotope evidence that the earth itself is only thousands, not billions, of years old. The clearest line of evidence is that zircons in granite with U-Pb ages of more than a billion years retain as much as 80% of their radiogenic helium. The carefully measured diffusion rate of helium in zircon limits significant He retention to only a few thousand years. A second line of evidence are an abundance of damage patterns known as radiohalos caused by alpha particle radiation from radioisotopes of polonium whose half-lives vary between 164 microseconds to 138 days...

⁣Video: Bike-Borne Robbers Attempt To Rob Woman In Argentina, Get Dose Of Instant Karma

Two motorbike-borne assailants who tried to rob a woman on the streets of Argentine capital Buenos Aires and got a dose of instant karma. Footage now going viral on social media shows the woman, who was actually a cop dressed in plain clothes, opening fire on the muggers and thwarting the attack.

According to Argentine news outlet Carlos Paz Vivo!, the incident happened last Wednesday. The suspects were in their late teens. A separate report by La Noticiade Quilmes said that both of them were arrested by the police.

Famous X account Colin Rugg also shared the video on his page. The clip has amassed over 3.3 million views, as per the video’s view counter.

They said that the incident happened at the intersection of General Manuel Savio and Bradley in Quilmes, Buenos Aires.

In the video, one of the bike-borne muggers is seen dismounting off the bike and moving towards the victim. The woman quickly turns and draws her service weapon and then fires three shots.

The first bullet struck the approaching mugger who collapsed immediately.

The policewoman, now on the ground, swiftly focused towards the other mugger, still on his bike.

The shooting stopped the robbery attempt and forced the muggers to flee and the policewoman escaped without injuries.

The thieves were arrested later when they visited a nearby hospital to seek treatment for gunshot wounds. One of the muggers arrived at the Iriarte Hospital. Cops arrested him after he matched the description of the attackers.

Hours later, staff at the Almirante Brown reported that another male with a minor wound on his left arm had been admitted to Oñativia Hospital in Rafael Calzada.

Michael Schenker and Michael Voss produced Universal at Voss’s Kidroom Studio. “Michael Voss is happy to wait until I have worked out an idea,” Schenker says, “and takes the time to really get to know the song, simultaneously developing ideas for the vocals. Then we work out the drums, bass and some keyboard parts together. He always has plenty of great ideas up his sleeve.”

Schenker is joined by an impressive selection of musicians. Former Rainbow keyboard player Tony Carey takes a Tarot Woman Moog inspiration on Calling Baal, a intro to the rock anthem A King Has Gone. Sung by Michael Kiske from Helloween, A King Has Gone is a tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio and features the Rainbow rhythm section of Bobby Rondinelli and Bob Daisley.

Set to be another highlight, The Universe features an atmospheric duet by Ronnie Romero and Gary Barden. The artwork is by Zsofia Dankova and features Schenker in a futuristic spaceship, floating high up in orbit. “I had the original idea for the album cover a few years ago,” Schenker says, “but only now does it seem to fit perfectly. So I sent some older sketches to my label Atomic Fire Records, and based on this, the final artwork and album title were created.”

“Basically, I am like a kid in a sandbox,” Schenker told MetalTalk in an interview last year (Part One , Part Two) “just play and discover, having fun. Everything that happened to me in my whole 50-year career just happened simply because I wanted to be Michael Schenker.
