The costume, chosen by the Osadia troupe, and which won fourth prize in the costume category, saw many of the young children, some looking to be little more than 7 or 8 years of age, parading through the streets donned in LGTBI+, Spanish and Republican flags and wearing messages that criticised Spain’s political parties.

Videos shared on social networks spread like wildfire, generating a barrage of criticism from all over the world, for the “sexualization” of minors: “Children being used during carnival to sexualize them and be the object of LGBT ideology,” said one Canadian site.

Dolón is blunt in his response: “The Torrevieja City Council does not and will not come in to censor or monitor the costumes that the troupe creates each year.” In his opinion, Osadía “has complete freedom to decide what they want to represent.”

However, the vast majority of posts on social networks are highly critical of the Osadia troupe with many wondering how parents could allow their children to be openly exploited.

Bishop Munilla wrote, on X (formerly Twitter) that he has come to the “conclusion that our authorities do not even believe in the laws that they themselves promulgate; as is the case of the Comprehensive Child Protection Law, which came into force in 2021”.

However, Pablo Samper, leader of the Sueña Torrevieja party, has also received insults after he defended the costumes, resulting in his Twitter account being bombarded with insults and expletives.

“Almost all of them come from anonymous bot accounts,” said Samper, to whom the explosion of the networks is a “very serious” matter.“

I said it before, that I believe that there were male victims but that they didn’t want to come out because they saw how some people treated the women. Imagine how many men decided to take thier pain to the grave without seeking the justice they deserve because of how society and our community treats people when they blow the whistle and come out and expose these celebrities. The teen was super confused. He was becoming an A+ lister. He is still pretty close to that now. Women were throwing themselves at him but his only sexual experiences had been with this singer who was raping him. I don't think our singer has ever really adjusted to that time period. He needs a lot of therapy and he is getting it. BUT, and this is a big but. The people he is getting therapy from are people who have ulterior motives. The biggest of those motives is money. Our singer is handing money over hand over fist. More exploitation is not what he needs. It will come out eventually and then he will be using more and end up in a death spiral. Another big issue in all of this are the ongoing legal troubles of the permanent A lister. His sexual history and partners are going to come out and it is going to drag the subject of this blind front and center.

Not to brag or espouse my superiority to many of those in this thread, but a lot of you seem to have "failed the test". You need to stop listening to your preacher and you need to start picking up The Bible and reading it. Christ is the Son of God, yes, but he is also the Son of Man. Christ in man is referring to the esoteric teaching of the scripture. Your long-nosed preacher wants you to not know about the esoteric teaching, the true teaching of Jesus Christ that comes from within. There are so many red flags about all this. First, CM certainly needs to do a better job vetting its interviewees. This isn't the first one that later was exposed to have skeletons in their closet. But the accusers seem to be a group of emotionally damaged people, which may be expected from men who associate themselves with JLP, since his whole shtick seems very cult-like. (What legitimate leader has a house where he lives with followers?) CM could easily have done some background checking on JLP before claiming him "more "Catholic" than most ordained Catholics we encounter."
All in all, this seems like an attempt by CM to undo self inflicted damage it caused when it brought JLP into the studio and promoted him.

Meanwhile, there are genuine Holocausts which actually did happen last century, yet which are not memorialized. In fact, Jews file lawsuits to suppress their mention and/or accurate description in public schools and in modern media.

America cut off Japanese oil supplies, forcing their attack upon Pearl Harbor. Franklin Roosevelt had advance knowledge of Pearl Harbor, yet simply let it happen so that the American people finally would be outraged enough to allow him to declare war on Japan, which until then had been engaged in a long-standing, low-grade war solely with China. Without oil, Japan was sure to lose to China, thus was forced to lash out at America. Because of Japan's mutual defense pact with Germany, American Jews finally had an excuse to declare war against Germany, too, their primary objective in causing the US to interfere with Japan's war, which until then had been confined solely to Asia. Thus, the nuclear holocaust unleashed upon Japan also is to be laid at the feet of world Jewry.
The truth puts the lie to the laughably deniable so-called Jewish Holocaust. So few Jews died during WWII and those mainly of natural causes, at that, that the term Holocaust should not even be applied to what happened to them. Indeed, the four events of the Twentieth Century that actually deserve the term Holocaust all were caused by Jews themselves, advancing their own interests!

The veteran music executive will receive the shine on Oct. 18 at West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center. The Spirit of Life Award is “presented to an esteemed community of industry leaders around the world who have made a significant commitment to improving the lives of others through the advancement of research and clinical innovation and the delivery of personalized, compassionate care,” per City of Hope.

Once he takes a spin at the podium, Lyor will join a list of previous recipients that includes Shelli and Irving Azoff, Edgar Bronfman Jr., Coran Capshaw, Eddy Cue, Clive Davis, Lucian Grainge, Allen Grubman, Quincy Jones, Rob Light, Monte and Avery Lipman, Doug Morris, Mo Ostin, Bob Pittman, Jon Platt and Sylvia Rhone, among others.

“If you have the opportunity to give a gift back to the industry you love, with an organization like City of Hope, whose doctors and scientists’ passion for helping others is so extraordinary, it’s a no-brainer,” Cohen said. “My career has been shaped by a contrarian point of view. The post, which was viewed by over 17,400 people at the time of writing, comprises of a video taken at a supermarket by an unidentified individual. The individual uses the camera to zoom in on the ingredients of a packet of Kinder Schoko-Bons chocolates.

The information on the packet of chocolates is written in German, and the individual points out that ‘Schellack’ is one of the ingredients. The video cuts to a web search of ‘Shellack’, with results showing images of an insect.

Together with animated overlay of crawling insects over the video, the caption reads, ‘There’s bugs in your chocolate’.

A Creeping Realisation
We translated ‘Schellack’ into English and found that it referred to shellac, a refined substance made from the secretion of the Kerria lacca insect. It is usually found in the forests of India and Southeast Asia, has been harvested for millenia, and has multiple uses.

Shellac helps to add shine to an object’s exterior and limit contact to moisture and oxygen. It is often used in cosmetics such as nail polish and hair styling products, in woodworking, and as a coating for food, including for candy, fresh fruit and medicine pills. Shellac is often listed as an ingredient under the name ‘confectioner’s glaze’, and can help to prolong the life of food items.

While this means that shiny food items often contain the insect-derived shellac, this is not a universal rule. The animal rights organisation PETA, which opposes the use of shellac in food because ‘nearly 100,000 bugs die to produce about 1 pound of shellac flakes’, note that some candy with shiny exteriors like Gobstoppers, Tic Tac and Skittles do not use animal ingredients.

It is also untrue that the use of shellac in confectionery means adding entire insects to candies. While a large number of insects die during the harvesting process, these are screened out during manufacturing. As a result, insects are more likely to end up in a candy bar if it has been sitting on a store shelf for a long time, rather than during the manufacturing process.

The Unvarnished Truth
Looking up Kinder products in particular, we found that shellac was listed as an ingredient for Schoko-Bons on Kinder’s UK website, as well as for Choco-Bons, the Australian version.

Kinder’s Singapore website did not indicate the product availability of Schoko-Bons or Choco-Bons here. Other popular locally available Kinder products such as Kinder Bueno and Kinder Joy did not include shellac in their ingredients.

Nevertheless, we found that shellac is a food additive that is permitted in Singapore and regulated by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).

While this may come as a surprise to some, it must be noted that shellac has been used in confectionery for decades without any indication of health risks to humans. Moreover, human consumption of insect-derived products is already relatively commonplace through food items such as honey and some variants of food dye.

As such, though the post is mistaken to claim that insects are an ingredient in confectionery themselves, it is true that chocolates and other candies can contain insect-derived products.
