Former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner has filed to run for a seat on the New York City Council, launching a potential political comeback after his once-promising career was destroyed by sexting scandals and later a criminal conviction for having illicit online contact with a child.

Campaign finance records list a campaign committee that was set up on Friday for Weiner called Weiner 25, in addition to listing him as a candidate for a council seat in lower Manhattan.

In a phone conversation Tuesday with The Associated Press, Weiner, a Democrat, said he is “still exploring” whether to actually campaign for the office. He said he opened the committee late last week so he could participate in a forum held by the Downtown Independent Democrats later this week.

He referred additional questions to recent statements he made on his weekly radio show, “The Middle with Anthony Weiner,” where he said: “I haven’t decided if I want to do this yet” while considering the personal dynamics of a return to politics.

Weiner represented a congressional district in New York City for about 12 years before he resigned in 2011 after sending lewd photos to several women. He tried to make a comeback in 2013 to run for mayor but was damaged by new revelations of explicit photos Weiner had sent under the online alias “Carlos Danger.”

Weiner pleaded guilty in 2017 to having illicit online contact with a 15-year-old girl and was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison. He was released in 2019 and was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Her claim to fame began when she was asked about the one move in bed that drives men wild. She responded with a cheeky comment, saying, "Oh, you gotta give him that 'huak tuah' and spit on that thang."

At the time of the video, Haliey had been attending the CMA Fest in Nashville and admitted having had a few drinks when the TikTokers approached her. She later clarified that her comment was meant as a joke and she "didn't mean anything by it."

After the video went viral, she left her job at a bed spring factory, and by the end of June, she had secured a merchandise deal with Fathead Threats. Before she knew it, she was singing on stage with country singer Zach Bryan and had sold $65,000 worth of merchandise.

Unfortunately for Haliey, who now boasts 2.6 million Instagram followers, she's become infamous for something else entirely. After a whirlwind six months, Haliey's world came crashing down following the failure of her own cryptocurrency memecoin HAWK.

Memecoins are a type of cryptocurrency that is based on viral memes and pop culture references. Accusations of insider trading have been leveled at her, and she could face criminal charges after some fans claimed they lost their "life savings" on it.

A 40-year-old woman was arrested after police say they found a number of explosives at a Colorado Tesla dealership, the latest incident in a string of apparent protests against Tesla CEO and DOGE leader Elon Musk.

Lucy Grace Nelson was charged with explosives or incendiary devices use, felony criminal mischief and criminal attempt to commit felonies, according to a news release from the Loveland Police Department.

An "extensive investigation" was initiated Jan. 29 after the dealership was vandalized several times, with incendiary devices found at the business, according to authorities.

Police and jail records list Nelson as a female, though the department noted an alias of "Justin Thomas Nelson."

After the alleged initial incident Jan. 29, there were subsequent incidents Feb. 2 and Feb. 7, progressively becoming more severe.

Loveland Police Department Public Information Officer Chris Padgett told Fox News Digital in incidents prior to Nelson's arrest, there were "very offensive messages, derogatory in nature" left at the dealership.

During police surveillance, Nelson was allegedly spotted Monday night with additional incendiary devices, along with materials attributed to vandalism, according to Padgett.

She was arrested without incident, Padgett said.

After being booked into jail, Nelson was issued a $10,000 cash surety bond.

"The Loveland Police Department continues to work closely with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' Denver Field Division with Federal charges likely to follow," according to Loveland Police.

Padgett said the department is not sure if others are involved, but there is no threat to the community.

Indivisible, an organization founded by former Democratic congressional staffers, has been urging liberals to stage demonstrations against Musk, Fox News Digital previously reported.

The activist group published a "tool kit" with protest recommendations, including a section about how to "take the fight to Elon."

It specifically includes steps for planning and executing a demonstration at Tesla dealerships, showrooms and factories.

"Members of the House of Representatives will be back on your home turf from Friday, February 14th, through Sunday, February 23rd, and it’s our opportunity to remind them who they work for," according to the group's website. "Fighting back against the Trump-Musk coup is going to take all of us."

The protests come after the Department of Government Efficiency began slashing spending at various federal agencies at the direction of President Donald Trump,

HAGMANN SHOULD BE A SUSPECT

In 2009, while residing in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, I learned an FBI agent named “John Regan” was trafficking babies and “kids” with members of the Florida judicial community connected to JEFFREY EPSTEIN and moving them out of the country through the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington DC.

I was interviewed by the MN FBI in 2010 by Special Agent A.J. Eilerman. I gave the FBI the details of my recorded journalistic investigation.

I subsequently learned FBI agent “John Regan” was actually the famous FBI agent “Bob Hamer” who appeared on FOX NEWS with Hannity, Oprah, and others.

Bob Hamer was made famous for playing the role of a “pedophile” to infiltrate NAMBLA. I realized the photograph sent to me by Wayanne Kruger of FBI agent “John Regan” that I published in my book, was one and the same as FBI agent “Bob Hamer” who was appearing on the Board of Advisors of Veterans For Child Rescue Inc (V4CR) which was formed by Hillary Clinton’s bodyguard Craig Randall (Sawman) Sawyer in April of 2017 and rolled out on INFO WARS with Alex Jones.

The fact that FBI Bob Hamer’s FACE was in my book explained why a Broward County, FL Family Court judge named Michael Kaplan who had NO JURISDICTION over me (MN resident) WHATSOEVER issued an INJUNCTION FOR PROTECTION AGAINST REPEAT VIOLENCE that ORDERED me to STOP selling my book forever and turn over all of my FIREARMS to the BROWARD COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE. I was kidnapped 4 times by STATE OF MINNESOTA over this hoax.

In 2020 during the run-up to the election I began to receive threats from V4CR warning me that I was going to be kidnapped, tortured, and murdered (as was my escrow agent former Administrative Tribunal judge Randi Lynn Erickson) because I was reporting on industrial scale international child sex trafficking. VICE ADMIRAL CHARLES W. MOORE, V4CR, told me V4CR was close to GENERAL MARK MILLEY, GENERAL MICHAEL FLYNN and PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP.

I continued to monitor former Navy SEAL TEAM 6 SNIPER Craig (Sawman) Sawyer.

In November 2023 I alerted the U.S. Secret Service that Trump’s life was in danger and explained who was targeting Trump.

Immediately after the attempted assassination of Trump in Butler, PA on July 13, 2024, I reported that Craig Sawyer posted a photo of a sniper rifle on Twitter/X and then appeared on INFO WARS and claimed he’d been in communications with Trump’s security team.

Sawyer also appeared on the Hagmann Report.

Note: Hagmann and Sawyer are co-plaintiffs in an Ohio, lawsuit.

Two days after Trump announced he’s seeking all U.S. Secret Service reports on the assassination attempt, Doug Hagmann appeared on INFO WARS and said he looked into the “eyeballs” of a 2nd man on the Butler roof and “identified” him.

The assailant who attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband in the couple’s San Francisco home early Friday was hunting for the powerful Democratic pol.

David Depape, 42, shouted, “Where is Nancy? Where is Nancy?” before assaulting 82-year-old Paul Pelosi with a hammer, CNN and the Associated Press reported, citing sources connected with the investigation.

San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott told reporters police were called to the home to check on Paul Pelosi at about 2:30 a.m. local time when they discovered the 82-year-old and Depape struggling for the hammer. The intruder yanked the object away from Pelosi and began beating him before being subdued and arrested by officers, Scott added.

One of the women accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault described his penis as “disgusting” and said in court Monday it looked like it “had been chopped off and sewn back on.”

“I didn’t really see a full sack, I literally just saw a penis,” the accuser — known to the court as Jane Doe 2 — said at Los Angeles Superior Court when questioned by Deputy District Attorney Paul Thompson.

During his opening statement, the prosecutor had told the jury the alleged victims would describe the disgraced producer’s deformities in detail.

“Because of an infection, his testicles were actually taken from his scrotum and put into his inner thighs,” Thompson told the jurors during his opening statement on Oct. 24.

“None of the Jane Does will describe his anatomy perfectly, but most of them will be able to describe these abnormalities that they observed during the assaults.”

Former film producer Harvey Weinstein appears in court at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center on October 4, 2022, in Los Angeles.

Weinstein — already serving a 23-year sentence for rape and sexual assault in New York — is on trial for allegedly sexually assaulting four women in Los Angeles between 2004 and 2013.

On Monday, Jane Doe 2 testified he sexually assaulted her in February 2013 at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills, which is now called The Maybourne.

Jane Doe said she and another woman, Claudia Salinas, met Weinstein at the hotel to talk about her script.

At some some point during their meeting, Jane Doe said she followed Weinstein inside a hotel room, which she initially thought was a conference room. Salinas closed the door to the private room and left her with the producer.

“This was a girl that I thought was my new friend,” Jane Doe 2 said of Salinas. “So her giving me this look while she closed the door … I just couldn’t believe that she would do that to me. To another girl. Because there’s a girl code. You don’t do that.”

She said Weinstein took off his clothes quickly.

“I was disgusted. I had never seen a big guy like that naked,” Jane Doe 2 said, her voice cracking. “I actually laughed nervously and thought, ‘No, no, no.’”

Jane Doe said Weinstein continued to talk and said of other actresses, “This is what they do. This is how I know you can act.”

Recounting the assault, she said Weinstein began to grope her and tried to touch her vagina, but she blocked his hand from penetrating her.

“He was grabbing my breasts and jerking off, like squinting at me, not looking at me,” she said. “Holding me there and talking to me. … He was just masturbating and groping me.”

She said she was frozen in place, fearing the movie bigwig would hurt her if she protested.
