American conservative political commentator Candace Owens and Rabbi Shmuley Boteach have traded barbs since Thursday over antisemitism, an alleged blackmail ring, support for rapper Kanye “Ye” West, a Michael Jackson death conspiracy, and a kosher sex shop in the ongoing feud between the two public figures.
Shmuley and his daughter Chana Boteach had in the past taken issue with Owen’s embrace of West when he had expressed conservative political ideas while failing to denounce his later antisemitic tirades. Boteach accused Owens herself of engaging in various forms of antisemitism.
Owens said on social media on Thursday that Shmuley “and his hag daughter have spent two years harassing me publicly with smears, complete with demands that I suffer financially for not parroting their perspectives.”
During the Thursday episode of the Candace Owens Show, the political commentator claimed that Boteach said that unless she criticized West he would take out a front-page newspaper advertisement in which he would cast her as an antisemite. Owens said that Boteach and others had taken clips from her show out of context in order to present her as someone who hated Jews.
Owens said that while the Jewish community and the media understandably “freaked out” when West tweeted that he was “going death con 3 [sic] on Jewish people,” and that “You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone [who] opposes your agenda,” the situation was more complicated than that. Boteach said on Saturday that Owens was defending West even though the rapper explicitly said that he loved Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Owens said, however, that West was speaking about specific people seeking to blackmail him, such as personal trainer Harley Pasternak. West had leaked alleged text messages between the two, in which Pasternak supposedly threatened to institutionalize him.
“Awaken world, to the monsters who have caused immense suffering to others via slander, threats, and coercion,” Owens said on Friday in relation to Boteach and an ongoing civil suit against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs by fellow artist Rodney Jones Jr.
The episode of her show was discussed Jones’s claims that he was sexually assaulted by Combs, and that Combs drugged underage girls and sex workers at his parties and had recordings of his celebrity guests in sexual acts with them. Citing journalist Ian Carrol, Owens said that record executives may have known or condoned what Combs was doing.
Owens described Combs as running a blackmail ring, and suggested that Combs was connected to sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein, as both operated in the Virgin Islands. Owens noted that cryptocurrency millionaire Nikolai Mushegian had drowned in Puerto Rico in 2022 after writing on X that “CIA and Mossad and pedo[phile] elite are running some kind of sex trafficking entrapment blackmail ring out of Puerto Rico and Caribbean islands,” and they were going to “torture me to death.”
Boteach attacked Owens as dealing material like the forged document The Protocols of the Elders of Zion and claiming that Epstein was a Mossad agent.
AGAIN CITING Carrol, Owens said that Combs had a fixer who had covered up a murder for the rapper, a man named Faheen Mohammed, who had previously served as Michael Jackson’s inexperienced head of security and was one of the first people on the scene when the pop star died. Owens said that Jackson had been smeared by the media as a pedophile and antisemite, and kept a list of Jewish enemies that included Boteach.
Owens said that Boteach was one of the people who smeared Jackson as an antisemite and was a “monster who has waged horrific campaigns against black and brown people in an effort to control our voices and destroy our relationships with one another.”
“When that Kanye situation went down, I was being threatened by a person named Rabbi Shmuley, a person that Michael Jackson put on his enemy list, a person I had never heard of, was threatening me,” said Owens.
Owens said that Jackson was in a legal battle with Sony when he died under suspicious circumstances, with an estranged former colleague John Bronca becoming a coexecutor of his estate. Carrol claimed that Bronca and then-Sony Music CEO were Jewish, though their connection to Judaism is tenuous.
“What if there is a small wing of specific people that are using the fact they are Jewish to shield themselves from any criticism?” said Owens.
Boteach said on Friday “Did Candace Owens imply that I killed Michael Jackson and that a cabal of Jews is murdering African-American Hollywood celebrities?”

The rabbi said that he had been bombarded with antisemitic messages from Owens’s fans since her video.“Her biggest fan now is arch antisemite Nick Fuentes who is lauding her poisonous attacks Jews all over social media,” Boteach said in a Sunday X post.

He indicated on Sunday that he was considering a libel lawsuit over claims that Owens “essentially said that I killed Michael Jackson last week and that Jews run pedophile sex rings in Hollywood in order to blackmail African-American entertainers.”

“There can be no question that Candace’s serious defamation against me and the Jewish community must be met with a comprehensive lawsuit that will bankrupt her as well as Ben Shapiro,’ said Boteach.

Boteach said Friday that he held pundit Ben Shapiro, whose Daily Wire outlet employs Owens, as complicit in “her spreading the worst defamation against Jews.” He called on Shapiro to take action against Owens, and on Sunday called for fans to cancel their subscriptions to Daily Wire. Political commentator Dennis Prager was also slammed by Boteach on Sunday for his relationship with Owens.

On Sunday Boteach said that Owens was a “self-hating black woman” who agreed with West that George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose rather than police brutality.

Owens had said on Thursday that Boteach had a “deep hatred for blacks, Muslims and Christians.” She said on Friday that she was targeted because of her “refusal to hate Muslims or to attack fellow black people and/or Christians on his command.”

Boteach attacked Owens on Saturday for her position on the Hamas October 7 Massacre against Israel, in which she was critical of US support for Israel. Owens’ comments had at the time also led to a tiff between Shapiro and his colleague.

Owens also derided Boteach for his advertisement of his daughter’s kosher sex shop products, describing it on Thursday as “filth.”

“I don’t know who needs to hear this but holy men do not open sex shops with their daughters,” Owens said on social media.

Boteach defended the product, saying that they were oils for married couples, and said that the store was offering a discount if one used the promotional code “CandaceO.”

Owens said that Jewish fans reached out to her in support after they were “appalled to learn about ‘Rabbi’ sex-shop-Shmuley’s harassment. I know he does not represent you guys.”

Conservative commentator Candace Owens is openly feuding with a famous American rabbi after calling him “filth” for promoting his daughter’s line of adult products.
Owens, who claims to have been harassed by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and his daughter Chana Boteach for the past two years, responded to a post on Monday in which a user criticized the religious figure for advertising everything from lubrication to vibrators sold by his daughter.
“The unholy Rabbi Shmuley is now promoting a website that sells vibrators and butt plugs on behalf of his daughter,” Owens tweeted. “He thinks he’s somehow insulting me by doing this. FILTH.”
The rabbi shot back by accusing Owens of antisemitism, claiming that her disapproval of the sex toys had more to do with Israel than anything else.
“ANTI-SEMITE @RealCandaceO Atacked my daughters Kosher Sex Product Calling it ‘Filth,'” Shmuley said on X. “Did she say this because it happened to be made in Israel?”
Shmuley also used the opportunity to plug a discount code bearing Owens’ name that would allow customers to receive a discount from his daughter’s online store.
“Go to kosher.sex to get 10% off using the code ‘CandaceO,'” he added.
As noted by The Times of Israel, Chana opened a kosher sex shop in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2019.
Shmuley’s issues with Owens stem largely from her support for rapper Kanye West, who in recent years made numerous antisemitic remarks. She also feuded with Ben Shapiro over his enthusiastic support for Israel in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack.
Owens, on the other hand, described Shmuley as a “monster who has waged horrific campaigns against black and brown people in an effort to control our voices and destroy our relationships with one another.”
Shmuley insinuated over the weekend that he might bring a libel suit against Owens after the conservative “essentially said” that he “killed Michael Jackson … and that Jews run pedophile sex rings in Hollywood in order to blackmail African-American entertainers.”
In a March 7 episode of her show, Owens’ discussed Shumely and Jackson. Shmuley is intertwined in the death of Jackson, publishing a set of tapes months after he passed that sparked controversy.
Such a suit could also target Shapiro, who runs the media outlet the Daily Wire where Owens works.
“There can be no question that Candace’s serious defamation against me and the Jewish community must be met with a comprehensive lawsuit that will bankrupt her as well as Ben Shapiro,” Shmuley said.
The back-and-forth caught the attention of white nationalists such as Nick Fuentes, whose supporters have flooded X with remarks disparaging Shmuley and Jewish people altogether.
Whether Shmuley follows through with a lawsuit remains to be seen. Either way, it doesn’t appear that either Owens or Shmuley are backing down anytime soon.

The men were arrested later that day when the van was spotted driving near the NY Giants NFL stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. FBI agents stopped the men’s van and pulled them out. As the New York Times reported at the time, the five men were caught in the wide net thrown by American law enforcement officials, eager to be seen to be taking action after the actions of 9/11.
A report by the FBI cleared their names later that month. A field report published a few weeks later stated: “Both the Newark and the New York Divisions conducted a thorough investigation which determined that none of the Israelis had any information on prior knowledge regarding the bombing of the World Trade Center. So, how is the coronavirus scandal responsible for the food shortages that are coming?
That’s easy to explain.
Processing plants and distribution centres all around the world have been deliberately severely disrupted by the massive over-reaction to this fairly ordinary virus.
Around the world more and more testing is being done. And although the tests are about as trustworthy as Gates, Clinton and Soros – your local purveyors of fear and death – they are treated with undeserved reverence. Curiously, it seems to me that farms and food distribution centres are being tested more than, say, civil servants or tax officials. This is odd because the chances of the virus being carried on food are roughly the same as the chance that the moon is made of cheese.
And so if one worker on a farm or in a warehouse falls ill with flu like symptoms then the authorities will close down that farm or the warehouse. Delivery systems have been massively affected as drivers are sent home for two weeks and all their colleagues sent home for two weeks too.
As a result, huge crops of vegetables and fruit are being ploughed into the ground. Millions of animals are being slaughtered and then buried or burnt because the supply chains have been shut down. America, almost unbelievably, has been importing beef because of the shortages.
The world lockdown, and the mass house arrests that were engineered to keep us all subservient, mean that thousands of farmers cannot get their crops picked. Fruit in particular is likely to rot in the fields, and tankers full of milk are being poured away. Controls on transport have meant that it has been difficult to move food from where there is a glut to where there is a dearth. It would have been easy for governments to insist that furloughed workers should help pick the crops but they didn’t do so. And why would they? The plan is to eradicate the poor and the weak.
And the unsurprising consequence of all this is that there are going to be massive shortages of fruit and vegetables, and prices are going to rocket.
In the UK, the most toxic of the Remainers, the fascist EU loving lunatics, bigoted, soaked in their own prejudices and consumed by ignorance, will blame Brexit for the shortages. But then, if they develop a bald spot or lose their keys they blame Brexit.
In the US, the media will doubtless blame Trump for the food shortages.
Sadly for them all, the shortages will be global.
All around the world there will be a shortage of almost all foods.
This isn’t the sort of fear-porn favoured by irresponsible main stream media giants such as the EU and Gates supported BBC.

What is a chemtrail?

According to Wikipedia (which is not a bad place to start, rather than finish, your research):

'The chemtrail conspiracy theory posits that some trails left by aircraft are chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed in the sky for purposes undisclosed to the general public and directed by various government officials. This theory has been refuted by the scientific community: such trails are simply normal contrails (condensation trails).'

Condensation trails – or contrails – form behind jets flying above 25,000 feet and are created by a combination of the hot air generated by the aircraft engines and the hydrocarbon by-products of jetfuel consumption. Dependent on meteorological and atmospheric conditions – particularly wind speed and humidity – contrails generally last from a few seconds to a few minutes, but can also last a lot longer in the right conditions.

For a counterpoint, let’s see what the good folks over at Collective Evolution have to say:

'Geoengineering is not a conspiracy, it’s the deliberate and large-sacle [sic] intervention in the Earth’s climatic system. Simply put, it is the spraying of chemicals into the air via planes into the atmosphere. Final thoughts

The size of the conspiracy necessary to cover up chemtrails makes them highly improbable.

Literally hundreds of thousands of aircraft engineers, maintenance workers and on-ground staff around the world would have to be involved in the cover-up — none of whom have ever come forward with a solid piece of photographic or scientific evidence.

While it is certain the practice of aerial chemical dispersal does exist, it is done from low altitude to control pests and is popularly known as cropdusting.

Apologies if this is not a question for this sub. For (hopefully relevant) context, an acquaintance of mine posts content that is largely anti-establishment and pandemic-sceptic. Recently they reposted a meme based on the 'Daddy, what did you do in the war' propaganda poster from WWI. The meme goes:
"Girl: Daddy, why do people give up freedom for security?
Father: It's called the Hegelian Dialectic, darling. They create a problem. The problem creates a reaction, If there is enough fear and hysteria people will not only accept the solution that limits their rights but they will actually beg for it."
Because I suspect the person saw the phrase 'hegelian dialectic' and thought it gave their beliefs more credibility without really knowing what it meant, I'm curious if there is in fact any way that the scenario in the meme corresponds to anything Hegel discussed?
