JDAM can be launched from very low to very high altitudes in a dive, toss or loft and in straight and level flight with an on-axis or off-axis delivery. JDAM enables multiple weapons to be directed against single or multiple targets on a single pass.

Gov. Kathy Hochul and other New York officials vowed Thursday to continue efforts to boost minority students’ access to the state’s colleges and universities despite the Supreme Court’s decision to ban race-based admissions.

In 6-3 affirmative action opinion, the nation’s highest court decided that using race as factor in college admissions violates Constitution’s 14th Amendment

“This is a dark day for equality and democracy,” Hochul said shortly after the decision by the nation’s top jurists was released.

But she said had already spoken to State University of New York Chancellor John King about the goal to admit more historically underrepresented students at its 64 campuses.

“Diversity is an important part of who we are,” Hochul said. “We want to make sure that New York is a place that celebrates diversity and inclusion.”

King and SUNY’s board of trustees, in a joint statement, blasted the SCOTUS ruling for pulling “our nation backward in the journey toward equity and civil rights” but said it will push to bolster minority admissions “within the law.”

“Race-conscious admissions policies have enriched our institutions and our nation. Yet despite the existence of race-conscious admissions policies, Black and Latino students, along with other groups, are still underrepresented across institutions of higher education as students, faculty members and administrators,” the SUNY brass said.

While the rulings in the related cases, Students for Fair Admissions vs Harvard University and vs University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, said colleges can’t explicitly use race and ethnicity as a preference in admissions, “we can use life experience as a factor,” SUNY Board Chairwoman Merryl Tisch told The Post.

A student’s race would certainly be part of life experience along with other considerations as Chief Justice Roberts mentioned in his majority ruling.

SUNY has come under fire from conservatives for pushing race-based “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Justice” programs, who’ve branded it “Woke U.” Discrimination complaints have been filed against SUNY’s Albany campus and Buffalo Law School for promoting racial preference programs for non-white students.

SUNY’s 64-campus study body combined is 53% white and 47% non-white combined including Black, Hispanic and Asian.

The leadership at the City University of New York said the ruling won’t impact its 25 campuses because 54% of its student body is already African-American Hispanic combined, 22% Asians and 24% white.

“CUNY as a system doesn’t depend on race-conscious admissions but as it is with any court ruling that affects higher education, we are carefully reviewing today’s decision and its impact, if any, on our admission practices,” a spokesperson said.

Some New York Asian-American education advocacy groups applauded the ruling, saying race-based preferences hurt high-performing, college-bound Asian-American students.

“We are thankful that the Supreme Court has finally ruled against decades of pernicious discrimination against Asian American students. Colleges have abused Affirmative Action for too long,” said a joint statement released by the Asian Wave Alliance, Chinese-American Citizen Alliance of Greater NY, NYC Residents Alliance and Parent Leaders for Accelerated Curriculum and Education (PLACE NYC).

“Discrimination by group identity is unconstitutional, un-American, and immoral. We call upon universities to comply with the law and stop in good faith to discriminate by race.”

New York Attorney General Leticia James will appeal a court decision that overturned a regulation issued by Governor Kathy Hochul that allows health department employees to arrest people suspected of exposure to a communicable disease, and imprison them indefinitely with no legal path for people to get out of detention!

Cattauragus County Supreme Court Judge Ronald Ploetz threw out the regulation in January declaring the scheme "absurd" and blatantly unconstitutional. But the Governor and Attorney General want to restore the power to seize anyone suspected, no evidence required and hold them for an indefinite period of time. You should wonder why they want that power.

I am deeply concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving."

The manifesto, which one official described as "astronomically dangerous," was originally to set for release in May, until the Nashville Police Department (MNPD) reversed course, and said it would be released 'soon.'

One week after the stonewalling began, the National Police Association (NPA) joined the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in suing for all records related to the March 27 shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville.

“We have asked for any manifestos, emails, and any communications related to the case,” Betsy Brantner Smith, spokesperson for the National Police Association, told The Epoch Times.

Tennessee resident Clata Renee Brewer working with the NPA, filed the lawsuit on May 5. Theirs is at least the second lawsuit filed over the shooting.

The FBI also denied a request for Hale's manifesto.

Update (1740ET): The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said Monday that the three images included with the alleged first three pages of the Christian Covenant School shooter’s manifesto are not "crime scene images," the Daily Caller reports.

Conservative political commentator Steven Crowder posted photographs of three pages which he alleged are part of a manifesto written by the now-deceased Audrey Hale, who killed six people inside the Covenant School with a firearm in Nashville, Tennessee, back in March. An officer killed Hale as she continued opening fire on the second floor of the building.

“The MNPD is in communication with the Metropolitan Department of Law as an investigation, begun this morning, continues into the dissemination of three photographs of writings during an on-line discussion about Covenant School. The photographs are not MNPD crime scene images,” the statement reads.

Authorities confirmed they discovered a manifesto written by Hale in which she had allegedly planned the attack for several weeks. Following the shooting, authorities obtained the manifesto, which is under an ongoing investigation by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). -Daily Caller

A St. Petersburg plastic surgeon who has been arrested twice since 2020 for methamphetamine possession is now awaiting trial on his second crystal meth case amid concerning details about the doctor's behavior.

Dr. William Wright Adams' first felony criminal case was dropped by prosecutors, but he now faces a December trial after police found meth in his backpack during a traffic stop while a patient waited under anesthesia in his office.

"They're putting someone to sleep right now for me to operate on. So I have to call them if I can't be there," Adams told officers in bodycam footage of the May 2022 arrest. "They're all waiting for me now."

Adams pleaded not guilty to meth possession and burglary charges from that arrest, although he has yet to stand trial 17 months later. This wasn't the doctor's first drug arrest, however.

In 2020, deputies seized crystal meth from Adams' backpack while he went through courthouse security during a dispute with an ex-boyfriend. That felony meth case was later dropped by the prosecutor in October 2020.

Beyond the drug allegations, records show deputies have responded to Adams' home more than 40 times in two years for "turbulent domestic" issues and fights with house guests. One guest went missing after threatening self-harm and was later found with meth.

Despite Adams' string of arrests and erratic behavior, the state health department shows his medical license remains clear and active. Meanwhile, the plastic surgeon continues seeing patients amid his impending trial.

Far-Right Polish Lawmaker Uses Fire Extinguisher On Hanukkah Candles In Parliament

Far-right Polish lawmaker Grzegorz Braun was captured on video Tuesday using a fire extinguisher to put out menorah candles in Parliament and calling Hanukkah a “satanic” celebration.

In the footage shared by Polish broadcaster TVN24, Braun is seen grabbing a fire extinguisher in the halls of Parliament and using it to put out candles on a menorah, the candelabrum used through the eight nights of the Jewish holiday.

“Those who take part in acts of satanic worship should be ashamed,” he said after the act, according to a translation by Reuters. He also said he was restoring “normality” by dousing the candles.

Braun, one of the most conservative and controversial members of Parliament, grabbed the fire extinguisher shortly after a rabbi led a Hanukkah celebration in the building.

“He was doing it in a very brutal way,” Rabbi Shalom Ber Stambler told The Associated Press. The footage shows Braun filling the room with white mist and powder from the extinguisher as people begged him to stop.

Magdalena Gudzinska-Adamczyk, a woman identified by Reuters, was among the attendees who tried to stop Braun.

“I feel very short of breath and have trouble speaking,” she told TVN24 as her face was covered in residue from the fire extinguisher. “I have stopped feeling safe in this country.”

Parliamentary leadership quickly sanctioned Braun, a member of the far-right Confederation party who claims there’s a conspiracy to turn Poland into a “Jewish state.” His salary was cut in half for three months and his parliamentary expenses halved for six months.

Szymon Holownia, the speaker of the Parliament, banned Braun from the rest of the day’s session and said he was reporting him to prosecutors, the AP reported.

Norman Finkelstein has a decent claim to be regarded as the foremost Jewish antisemite in America and one of the most repulsive human beings on earth. Finkelstein believes that the principle reason for Israel’s existence is the murder of the entire Palestinian population. He first accused Israel of genocide in 1982 during the first Lebanon War. This would become a recurring theme, with him accusing Israel of attempted genocide in 2009, 2012, 2014, and now of course, after October 7th.
When I debated on Piers Morgan this week – a theme I shall return to and one which resulted in his much deserved digital decapitation – I told him that we Jews seem to really suck at genocide. Having been engaged in its attempt, according to Finkelstein, for last 40 years, the Palestinian population in the Gaza has grown by 1.5 million residents and Judea and Samaria by at least one million. When Bashar Al Assad attempted his genocide of Arabs fighting his regime, he was able to efficiently murder some 600,000 Arabs in just three years, using bombs, mustard gas, and biological agents.
Like sports and public relations, clearly, we Jews must add genocide to the list of things at which we truly suck.
Finkelstein had no response.
But something he did have a response to was the savage murder of 1,200 on October 7th. Within hours of the first reports of the barbaric atrocities,
Finkelstein actually penned these words: “It warms every fiber of my soul—the scenes of Gaza’s smiling children as their arrogant Jewish supremacist oppressors have, finally, been humbled. The stars above in heaven are looking kindly down. Glory, glory, hallelujah. The souls of Gaza go marching on!”

These are easily the most vile, grotesque, and monstrous words I have ever seen written by a Jew. Period.

The same is true of Finkelstein, an academic joke with no tenure who made his name saying that Jews use the Holocaust to get cash.
It’s fairly easy to provide. In 2016 Finkelstein gave an interview where he said, “One BDS leader told Democracy Now!, ‘Why debate Finkelstein? He’s not important. We should debate important people.’ I used to give 40 talks a year. Now I give maybe four. I know the number because of those 1099 slips I have to submit to my accountant. Three years ago, before the BDS thing exploded, I gave him 40 slips. Last year I gave him four.’”
Get it. Finkelstein makes money off his hatred of Jews and Israel. And as he became more irrelevant – after all, how many times can you accuse Israel of genocide before it become repetitive and tiresome and the media begins to roll its eyes – he had to up the ante by become ever more extreme in his hatred of Jews until… October 7th, where he actually sang “Glory Hallelujah” as the body of the Shani Louk, to whom I dedicated a Torah last week with her parents in attendance, was stripped naked and desecrated by hundreds of Hamas terrorists in Gaza City.
And that’s why we have to debate, digitally destroy, digitally decapitate, and digitally disembowel pathetic psychopaths like Norman Finkelstein and his ilk.

You might recognize my face. Anyhoo...I have been waiting years for someone like you or Ben Shapiro to go up against Norm Finkelstein. This is what I posted on the YouTube page of your debate (yashar koach, btw) I am very convinced that Norm Finkelstein had to be bullied mercilessly by other Jewish kids when he was growing up which explains his serious contempt for Jews today. I think it's pretty obvious that R'Shmuely has been waiting for years to tear Norm apart in a debate, which I do believe he did. However, Norm ignored him for the most part. The Lincoln Giants were a Negro baseball team based out of Harlem, New York. Two white brothers, Edward and Jess McMahon, established the team in 1911, and employed player, Sol White as their manager. White in turn signed pitchers Joe “Cyclone” Williams and Dick “Cannonball” Redding, catcher Louis Santop, shortstop John Henry Lloyd (a future team manager), center fielder Spotswood “Spot” Poles, first baseman/catcher Bill Pettus, and shortstop/ second baseman Grant “Home Run” Johnson, all future Fall of Fame inductees. These players helped the Lincoln Giants become a powerful team that won the unofficial Eastern Championship in 1911, 1912 and 1913. The Lincoln Giants also defeated the Chicago American Giants in 1913, winning the National Black Championship that year.
The teams’ initial games were played in Olympic Park, located at 136th Street and 5th Avenue in Upper Manhattan and often drew crowds of 10,000 people, both black and white. The McMahon brothers sold the team to James Keenan and Charles Harvey in 1914, due to financial strain. However, many players remained contracted to the McMahon’s and moved on to their new team which was briefly called the Lincoln Stars.
The team eventually readopted its original name during World War I and Joe Williams took over as manager of the Giants. In 1920, the team moved their games to the New York Catholic Protectory Oval, located at East Tremont Avenue and Unionport Road in the Bronx. Due to the long distance, many black fans with automobiles offered carpools to the games, making several trips back and forth to pick up fans from Harlem.
The Lincoln Giants joined the Eastern Colored League in 1923 but they did very poorly, with a 16-22 record, placing the team in 5th place out of six. The 1924 season brought in new team manager Jude Gans and was much better for the Giants who placed third that season with a 31-25 record. The team fell to last place in 1925 with a 7-39 record. John Henry Lloyd became team manager in 1926 and he signed Silas Simmons as a pitcher. During this season the Giants rose to fifth place, with a 22-31 win/loss record. The team did not play during the 1927 season, and returned to the ECL in 1928, only for the league to fold the same year. The Giants joined the American Negro League for its only season in 1929 but disbanded in 1930.

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach called Donald Trump “a phenomenal friend” to Israel, dismissing the presumptive Republican nominee’s previous claims of neutrality in peace negotiations with Palestinians as irrelevant.

Boteach cited conversations with Trump’s Jewish son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who Boteach extolled as a “Kiddush Hashem” (a sanctification of God’s name), as having convinced him of Trump’s views on the Jewish state. Kushner, Boteach said, “is rock solid on Israel,” and serves as an advisor to Trump.
Boteach was speaking hours before a “Jewish Values” award gala he organizes was set to begin, whose guests include Sheldon Adelson, a major contributor to Republican candidates. There are so many red flags about all this. First, CM certainly needs to do a better job vetting its interviewees. This isn't the first one that later was exposed to have skeletons in their closet. But the accusers seem to be a group of emotionally damaged people, which may be expected from men who associate themselves with JLP, since his whole shtick seems very cult-like. (What legitimate leader has a house where he lives with followers?) CM could easily have done some background checking on JLP before claiming him "more "Catholic" than most ordained Catholics we encounter."
All in all, this seems like an attempt by CM to undo self inflicted damage it caused when it brought JLP into the studio and promoted him.

The heifer was to be wholly burned. This typified the painful sufferings of our Lord Jesus, both in soul and body, as a sacrifice made by fire, to satisfy God's justice for man's sin. These ashes are said to be laid up as a purification for sin, because, though they were only to purify from ceremonial uncleanness, yet they were a type of that purification for sin which our Lord Jesus made by his death. The blood of Christ is laid up for us in the word and sacraments, as a fountain of merit, to which by faith we may have constant recourse, for cleansing our consciences.

Why did the law make a corpse a defiling thing? Because death is the wages of sin, which entered into the world by it, and reigns by the power of it. The law could not conquer death, nor abolish it, as the gospel does, by bringing life and immortality to light, and so introducing a better hope. As the ashes of the heifer signified the merit of Christ, so the running water signified the power and grace of the blessed Spirit, who is compared to rivers of living water; and it is by his work that the righteousness of Christ is applied to us for our cleansing. Those who promise themselves benefit by the righteousness of Christ, while they submit not to the grace and influence of the Holy Spirit, do but deceive themselves; we cannot be purified by the ashes, otherwise than in the running water. What use could there be in these appointments, if they do not refer to the doctrines concerning the sacrifice of Christ? But comparing them with the New Testament, the knowledge to be got from them is evident. The true state of fallen man is shown in these institutions.
