The Daily Mail has an audio recording of what appears to be Arizona’s top Republican official trying to bribe Kari Lake (R) not to run for U.S. Senate.

Jeff DeWit, chair of the Arizona Republican Party, can be heard asking Lake, a close ally of Donald Trump, to name her price to stay out of politics for two years.

Said DeWit: “There are very powerful people who want to keep you out.”

DeWit also told Lake that he thinks Trump will lose the 2024 election and it is time to make way for someone else.

Important differences in the manufacturing process distinguish these vaccines from one another. The Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines are both nucleoside-modified mRNA, encoding the viral spike (S) glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine comprises a recombinant, replication-incompetent Ad26 vector, encoding a stabilized variant of the S protein. Similarly, the AstraZeneca vaccine is a replication-deficient modified adenovirus ChAdOx1, containing the coding sequence of the S protein.
Put simply, the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines are mRNA vaccines, whereas the Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca vaccines are adenovirus-vector vaccines.
Are the COVID-19 vaccines safe?
Over 400 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the US, with almost 7 billion doses administered worldwide. For the vast majority of people, including those with vascular disease, the benefits of vaccination against COVID-19 overwhelmingly outweigh any risks. These vaccines are undergoing continuous and intense safety monitoring. Across numerous clinical trials, the vaccines have been shown to be safe and effective, and they clearly reduce the risk of serious infection, hospitalization, and death related to COVID-19.
Although rare side effects have been reported with these vaccines, these events occur much less frequently than the often severe and life-threatening complications that occur with COVID-19. In summary, these vaccines are safe and effective.

March 12 (Reuters) - Right-wing activist and Idaho gubernatorial candidate Ammon Bundy was arrested on Saturday on a trespassing charge for refusing to leave a hospital where an infant was taken into protective custody from his parents in a child-welfare case, police said.
Bundy's campaign said on Twitter that he had gone to the hospital in Meridian, Idaho, about 10 miles (15 km) west of the state capital Boise, in support of a family whose baby boy "had been medically kidnapped."
The campaign tweet said Bundy was arrested "for the crime of disagreeing with the hospital and CPS (child protective services)," adding, "this was an ambush arrest with no legal grounds."
Bundy and members of his family have become widely known for leading armed standoffs against federal authorities, most notably in a 41-day takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon in 2016 that left one of the occupiers dead.
Bundy, a brother and others were later acquitted of federal conspiracy charges stemming from the Malheur siege.
In a personal tweet, Bundy, 46, described the child as the grandson of a close friend, and said authorities took the baby because "a medical practitioner called CPS for a missed doctor appointment."
"If this happened to them, it could happen to you," Bundy wrote. "We must stand against this medical tyranny."
Police said the 10-month-old child was first hospitalized on March 1 after medical personnel determined the baby was severely malnourished. The infant was released to his parents a few days later after gaining sufficient weight, police said.
But a subsequent checkup found the child again had lost significant weight, and police were contacted when the parents canceled their follow-up appointment and could not be located, the Meridian police department said in a statement.
Advised that the child's condition was life-threatening, police sought to contact the parents, but the family proved uncooperative and evaded further attempts to check on the child's well-being, police said.
After a warrant was obtained, police located the father and child in a traffic stop, took the infant into custody and brought the baby to the hospital for additional medical care.
Bundy was arrested on a misdemeanor trespassing count after he and several followers showed up at the hospital "and refused to leave the property when asked to do so," police said.
A woman accused of interfering was also arrested, as were two other adults charged with interfering with police at the scene of the traffic stop, according to police.
Bundy, who has led a number of protests against COVID-19 public health restrictions in Idaho, announced his bid for the Republican nomination for governor in June.

⁣Today, on what would have been Michael’s 62nd birthday, director Spike Lee released a new video for Michael’s classic song ‘They Don’t Care About Us’ (TDCAU).
The new video brings together the two versions of the song Michael originally shot; the Brazilian version and Prison version. It also inserts new footage from the protests that have happened around the world this year in support of Black Lives Matter [certain he wasn't aware of its true nature - VfB].
The original two videos were shot in 1996, when Michael decided TDCAU should be the fifth single released from his 1995 album ‘HIStory’. While shooting in Brazil, Michael was surrounded by crowds of residents as he danced and sang in the street. They danced on the rooftops and from the balconies of their homes. Some women even managed to push through security to hug Michael, at one point accidentally pushing him over. Spike Lee helped Michael get up, while the King of Pop continued to sing and dance. The footage made it into the final cut. Michale’s filming in that part of Brazil is credited as now being partially responsible for the improvement and wealth in the local area.
The new 2020 video is an extension of the song being regularly being played and spoken about this year due to the Black Lives Matter movement gaining much more attention after a number of police shootings of black people. Lee debuted the video in the live stream of his annual BK loves MJ block party, which was this year streamed virtually on YouTube.
