December 13, 2022: A Tavares, FL police officer, Courtney Bannick, administered a routine traffic stop. According to Officer Bannick, she was exposed to multiple narcotics during the stop, including fentanyl. After hearing her struggling to speak over the radio, other officers arrived and administered multiple doses of Narcan to Officer Brannick. Officer Brannick returned to work a few days later. Since then, some experts have questioned whether or not Brannick actually experienced an overdose.

"Dr. Ryan Marino, a medical toxicologist, started following and studying fentanyl myths in 2017.


"Overdoses are killing hundreds of Americans every day, and the biggest driver of our overdose crisis right now is fentanyl in street drugs," Marino said. "So I mean, I think it is something that everyone should be talking about. But these myths that come up, unnecessarily scare people, distract from meaningful conversations and even prevent people from doing the things that are necessary to really stop overdoses."


However, Marino questions the validity of Bannick's experience and wants to explain what he says could happen if someone is exposed to fentanyl.


"I feel very badly that this officer had such severe symptoms and such a strong reaction. I watched the body cam footage and it is pretty dramatic. My concern is that the footage does not show anything consistent with an opioid overdose. And the symptoms that are reported, and that we're seeing, are actually the opposite of what you would see in a fentanyl overdose," Marino said.


"The biggest problem, though, is saying that she was exposed either through touch or through inhalation. I think both both theories have been put forth, whether this was something that she came into direct contact with, or they were saying that it was very windy and could have been blown into her system," Marino said. "Those are just not ways that you can overdose on fentanyl. Fentanyl doesn't work like that. It's only a risk to people who are using drugs and that is injecting, snorting or taking something by mouth."


Tavares police sent a statement to WESH 2 responding to the questions some have about Bannick's experience:


"The Tavares Police Department applauds the officers who stepped up to administer life-saving action when needed and is proud of Officer Bannick for her bravery in the face of a traumatic and dangerous situation.


Since the incident, questions have been raised to the validity of Officer Bannick’s experience.


'Not only does the Department trust Officer Bannick; we also know we know her experience is, unfortunately, not unique,' Chief Sarah Coursey said. 'Fentanyl exposure is a real and ever-growing threat to first responders. Studies completed years ago do not accurately reflect the strength and risk of current street-level fentanyl.'


While most of the questions revolve around whether a fentanyl overdose can happen through skin contact, it is unclear how Officer Bannick came into contact with the drug. Inhalation due to high winds during the incident is as likely as skin contact.


We are still investigating the traffic stop Officer Bannick participated in when she was exposed to fentanyl. We anticipate charges to be filed once that investigation is completed, however, no documents or evidence can be shared until the case is closed. This includes Officer Bannick’s medical records, which are important to ensuring those involved face appropriate punishments."

Leo Max Frank had been convicted of and sentenced to death for raping and murdering a young girl. 1964 Profiles in Courage, a Jewish supremacist Hollywood drama that rehabilitates the image of the corrupt 60th governor of Georgia, John Slaton, who commuted the death sentence of Georgia State's criminal defense client Leo Frank. He was represented by a law partner from his own private legal firm, Glenn and Slaton, to life imprisonment over his 1913 conviction for the rape-murder of 13-year old Mary Phagan. Thereby, when the Governor commuted the death sentence of Leo Frank, there was a blatant conflict of interest with the public's benefit and well-being as well as a subversive diversion from the noble causes of truth and justice.

Leo Frank's friends and supporters were said to be paying witnesses to leave town or make fabricated affidavits against their previous testimonies. A secret police informant by the name of Colyar recorded Felder attempting to pay $1000 for the original Coleman affidavit and for copies of the confidential police files on the Mary Phagan case. One such example would be that of the conman and lawyer “Colonel” Thomas B. Felder who tried his best discredit the validity of the case by purchasing the original documentation of the charge sheet and related evidence against Leo Frank. Chief of Police Lanford exposed Felder as working for Leo Frank despite his denial. Felder went as far as falsely accusing Jim Conley the factory sweeper of possessing an affidavit where he admitted guilt in murdering Mary Phagan. Jim Conley of course denied this vehemently. The Atlanta Georgian on May 26, 1913 claimed that the bribery effort came from Frank's friends which Thomas Felder automatically branded as being that of a diabolical conspiracy. When things didn't work out with Thomas Felder's antics, he decided to discard his services to Leo Frank's defense team and then towed the line regarding the popular belief that "Jewish money" was protecting Leo Frank. Despite several appeals to various US institutions between August 27, 1913, to April 22, 1915, Leo Frank's legal team was not able to acquire a successful appeal.

The real-life 60th governor of Georgia was a corrupt politician and attorney, who was part-owner of the law firm that represented Leo Frank at his 1913 summer trial during his appeals to the Georgia Supreme Court from the Autumn of 1913 till the late winter of 1914. Governor Slaton in real life commuted the death sentence of his law client to life in prison. It was one on the worse ethics violation in Georgia History at the time, a gross conflict of interest and unethical to the extreme. Despite the bribery and corruption, Governor John M. Slaton didn't oppose the guilty verdict - he just lessened the sentencing in order to save his client's life in the hope that he could perhaps extract funds from him and his fellow Jewish bedfellows over a longer period of time thereby benefiting his Glenn and Slaton legal firm and his then-contemporary law partner representing Leo Frank.

Even after the death of Leo Frank - one of his earlier witnesses, Alonzo Mann, had been bribed to change the story as a death-bed confession. He falsely stated that Jim Conley was the real killer of Mary Phagan which was impossible to prove since the Negro factory sweeper had been long dead by then. Even then, his new and falsified testimony which is tantamount to a perjury didn't vindicate Leo Max Frank in any way shape or form especially since all the other witnesses had passed away by then. The corrupt and bought-out judge in the video had stated that Leo Frank was innocent to a very high degree. However in real life, the original Justice Hugh Dorsey who had presided over this case, had rejected Leo Frank's appeals for a new trial on more than 100 grounds.

While the ending of Donnie Darko has some dark implications, a deleted scene would have made the ending much less subtle and more gruesome. Filmmaker Richard Kelly initially captured a brief shot of Donnie, lying in his bedroom, still breathing and impaled by a piece of the plane. The shot emphasizes just how difficult Donnie’s sacrifice was, underlining the pain he went through to save everyone else.

It’s also a much more horrific ending than the one the film ended up with. The scene is too graphic for the rest of the film. While Donnie Darko definitely dealt with some mature subject matter, it didn’t feature anything as explicit as that final shot. It’s sad enough that Donnie sacrifices himself in the end. The deleted scene of him, lying in bed and dying, went a step too far.

JDAM can be launched from very low to very high altitudes in a dive, toss or loft and in straight and level flight with an on-axis or off-axis delivery. JDAM enables multiple weapons to be directed against single or multiple targets on a single pass.

Many of the allegations, in fact, the myths that surrounded the Qassam Brigades’ attack on southern Israel on October 7 are being demolished, one after the other.

The latest was the claim that Palestinian Resistance fighters had purposely attacked the Nova Music Festival, knowing beforehand that a festival was scheduled to take place on that specific day and time.

That turned out to be untrue, according to an ‘assessment’ by ‘Israel’s security establishment’, which was published in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz on Saturday.

These are selected excerpts from the Haaretz report regarding what precisely transpired on that day.

Did Hamas have advanced knowledge of the Nova Music Festival?
Haaretz reports,

“The growing assessment in Israel’s security establishment is that Hamas terrorists (fighters) who committed the (alleged) October 7 massacre didn’t have advanced knowledge about the Nova music festival held next to Kibbutz Re’im, and decided to target the party spontaneously.

“The assessment is based on terrorist interrogations and the police’s investigation of the incident, among other things, which reveal that the terrorists intended to infiltrate Re’im and other kibbutzim near the Gaza border.”

So who killed the civilians at the Festival?
“According to a police source, the investigation also indicates that an IDF combat helicopter that arrived to the scene and fired at terrorists there apparently also hit some festival participants. According to police, 364 people were murdered at the festival.”

But how did a well-planned operation like the one carried out by Hamas not know about a major music festival taking place on the same day?
Haaretz answers,

“According to police sources, the party was originally planned for Thursday and Friday, with an extra day on Saturday added only on Tuesday of that week, at the organizers’ request. The last-minute change strengthens the assessment that Hamas hadn’t known of the event.”

Were other civilians allegedly killed by the Israeli military?
The new findings strengthen the argument that indeed, many of the Israeli civilians killed on October 7 were killed by the Israeli military itself.

On October 16, the Electronic Intifada reported, citing “an Israeli woman who survived the Hamas assault on settlements near the Gaza boundary” on October 7, that Israeli civilians were “undoubtedly” killed by the Israeli military.

Yasmine Porat, 44, was speaking to Israeli radio, specifically about gun battles between Palestinian fighters and Israeli forces in Kibbutz Be’eri.

Porat, who said that Palestinian fighters had treated them and others “humanely”, initially fled the Nova Music Festival.

“They eliminated everyone, including the hostages,” she said, referring to the Israeli army. “There was very, very heavy crossfire” and even tank shelling.

According to a new investigation this week by Semafor, another set of videos showing sexual acts in the U.S. Capitol were posted on Snapchat last year by a user named “Adam J.” One of the two videos in the set shows an unknown man masturbating alone in a House of Representatives office. A screenshot from the second appears to depict two men having sex “in an office setting.” No faces were visible in the images.

Semafor reported that the videos became the subject of an internal investigation by Republican Rep. Dan Newhouse, whose office believed a staffer may have been involved. The investigation reportedly yielded no evidence, and the anonymous staffer, who denies all involvement, left his position later that year on good terms.

“As soon as the office was alerted, we immediately contacted the appropriate House entities to conduct an independent investigation,” a Newhouse spokesperson told Semafor, and “the office will not be providing further comment on personnel matters.”

Congressional staffers’ sexual exploits drew scrutiny last week when right-wing website The Daily Caller — a major source of anti-trans disinformation and recycled 4chan hoaxes — published a video that appears to show two men having sex in a Senate hearing room. The site alleged that one of the men was Aidan Maese-Czeropski, then a staffer for Democrat Sen. Ben Cardin, whose office confirmed Maese-Czeropski is “no longer employed” after The Daily Caller leaked the video.

“While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgment, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace,” Maese-Czeropski wrote in a LinkedIn post earlier this week. “Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters.”

Unlike the Daily Caller, Semafor did not name the former staffer who was investigated last year, and did not publish the video they reviewed. In the District of Columbia, publicly posting explicit material of a person without their consent can constitute a misdemeanor or a felony under revenge porn laws.

A bipartisan majority in the U.S. Senate voted 70-to-29 to advance a $95 billion dollar foreign aid package, despite warnings from House Republicans that the bill may never receive a vote.
The package contains no changes to U.S. border policy, despite early insistence by Republicans that they would not support foreign aid provisions — which provide military support for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan — without substantial changes to the Biden administration's border policies.
But after months of bipartisan negotiation produced a border-plus-foreign-aid deal unveiled earlier this month, the plan withered in a matter of days. Many Republican senators announced their opposition to the 300-plus page bill within hours of its release. Some stated explicitly that they hoped to preserve the border crisis as an issue for the 2024 campaign season and echoed concerns about the deal raised by GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
Now House Republicans, who rejected the previous bipartisan deal for failing to meet hard-line demands on border provisions, say they will also reject the stand-alone security funding.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., released a statement Monday night well before the final vote was scheduled in the Senate.
"The mandate of national security supplemental legislation was to secure America's own border before sending additional foreign aid around the world," Johnson wrote. "It is what the American people demand and deserve. Now, in the absence of having received any single border policy change from the Senate, the House will have to continue to work its own will on these important matters. America deserves better than the Senate's status quo."
Senate forges ahead with military aid amid pressure from Trump
This foreign aid focused bill was released last week after the border agreement failed. The plan started with the support of House Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky, and other GOP defense hawks who worry that U.S. allies face serious threats without adequate funding.
But support for that view has been eroding among Republicans under pressure from former President Donald Trump who said during a campaign rally this weekend that he would not defend NATO allies against attacks from Russia if those allies do not meet his definition of paying enough money for defense.
"If we don't pay and we're attacked by Russia, will you protect us?" Trump recalled another country's leader asking while him while he was president. "No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want."
McConnell defended U.S. investments in NATO and other allies in a lengthy speech on the Senate floor following Trump's remarks.
"We haven't equipped the brave people of Ukraine, Israel, or Taiwan with lethal capabilities in order to win philanthropic accolades," McConnell said. "We're not urgently strengthening defenses in the Indo-Pacific because it feels good. We don't wield American strength frivolously. We do it because it is in our own interest. We equip our friends to face our shared adversaries so we're less likely to have to spend American lives to defeat them."
But many of McConnell's GOP members still lined up to vehemently oppose the bill. A group led by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., gave lengthy speeches to delay Senate proceedings, despite the clear reality that the bill easily had the votes to pass.
The process coincided with a major national security conference in Munich, where top government officials representing America's major allies were closely following the Senate's process.

Norman Finkelstein has a decent claim to be regarded as the foremost Jewish antisemite in America and one of the most repulsive human beings on earth. His 2000 Book, The Holocaust Industry, argued that the world Jewish community uses the murder of six million Jews to shake down governments like Germany and Switzerland for cash as well as to protect Israel from its repeated attempts at its genocide of the Palestinians.
Finkelstein believes that the principle reason for Israel’s existence is the murder of the entire Palestinian population. He first accused Israel of genocide in 1982 during the first Lebanon War. This would become a recurring theme, with him accusing Israel of attempted genocide in 2009, 2012, 2014, and now of course, after October 7th.
When I debated on Piers Morgan this week – a theme I shall return to and one which resulted in his much deserved digital decapitation – I told him that we Jews seem to really suck at genocide. Having been engaged in its attempt, according to Finkelstein, for last 40 years, the Palestinian population in the Gaza has grown by 1.5 million residents and Judea and Samaria by at least one million. When Bashar Al Assad attempted his genocide of Arabs fighting his regime, he was able to efficiently murder some 600,000 Arabs in just three years, using bombs, mustard gas, and biological agents.
Like sports and public relations, clearly, we Jews must add genocide to the list of things at which we truly suck.
Finkelstein had no response.
But something he did have a response to was the savage murder of 1,200 on October 7th. Within hours of the first reports of the barbaric atrocities,
Finkelstein actually penned these words: “It warms every fiber of my soul—the scenes of Gaza’s smiling children as their arrogant Jewish supremacist oppressors have, finally, been humbled. The stars above in heaven are looking kindly down. Glory, glory, hallelujah. The souls of Gaza go marching on!”

These are easily the most vile, grotesque, and monstrous words I have ever seen written by a Jew. Period.

The same is true of Finkelstein, an academic joke with no tenure who made his name saying that Jews use the Holocaust to get cash.
It’s fairly easy to provide. In 2016 Finkelstein gave an interview where he said, “One BDS leader told Democracy Now!, ‘Why debate Finkelstein? He’s not important. We should debate important people.’ I used to give 40 talks a year. Now I give maybe four. I know the number because of those 1099 slips I have to submit to my accountant. Three years ago, before the BDS thing exploded, I gave him 40 slips. Last year I gave him four.’”
Get it. Finkelstein makes money off his hatred of Jews and Israel. And as he became more irrelevant – after all, how many times can you accuse Israel of genocide before it become repetitive and tiresome and the media begins to roll its eyes – he had to up the ante by become ever more extreme in his hatred of Jews until… October 7th, where he actually sang “Glory Hallelujah” as the body of the Shani Louk, to whom I dedicated a Torah last week with her parents in attendance, was stripped naked and desecrated by hundreds of Hamas terrorists in Gaza City.
And that’s why we have to debate, digitally destroy, digitally decapitate, and digitally disembowel pathetic psychopaths like Norman Finkelstein and his ilk.
Because the one things we Jews have learned about our history is that THERE ISN’T A SINGLE LIE TOLD ABOUT THE JEWS THAT THE WORLD ISN’T PREPARED TO BELIEVE!

Hi R'Shmuely. This is Rashi Rosenzweig. I live in Ra'anana and indeed we have met several times. I'm friendly with the Cohens and your son. Your son and I go to the same gym. You might recognize my face. Anyhoo...I have been waiting years for someone like you or Ben Shapiro to go up against Norm Finkelstein. This is what I posted on the YouTube page of your debate (yashar koach, btw) I am very convinced that Norm Finkelstein had to be bullied mercilessly by other Jewish kids when he was growing up which explains his serious contempt for Jews today. I think it's pretty obvious that R'Shmuely has been waiting for years to tear Norm apart in a debate, which I do believe he did. However, Norm ignored him for the most part. Furthermore, Shmuely was also correct about Norm's tactic in attempting to make his opponent comatose with his rhetoric (I want to say drivel, but I'm being a bit generous). Norm has a very pussiefied form of speech and has no fierce within it. (Please pardon the foul term, but I cannot think of a better way to describe that whining, pseudo-intellectual). The only thing that makes him popular by the antisemites is that he is indeed a Jewish antisemite and to the contrary infamous by us Jews, is that he is a Jewish antisemite. He also did blatantly lie about the outcome of the ICJ hearings. Case closed.

A widespread problem
A CBS News investigation has found that many accused American pedophiles flee to Israel, and bringing them to justice can be difficult.
Jewish Community Watch (JCW), an American organization that tracks accused pedophiles, has been trying for years to find Karow and help bring him to justice.
JCW says Karow and other wanted men and women have been able to exploit a right known as the Law of Return, whereby any Jewish person can move to Israel and automatically gain citizenship.
Since the small organization started tracking accused pedophiles in 2014, it says more than 60 have fled from the U.S. to Israel. Given its limited resources to identify these individuals, JCW says the actual number is likely much larger.
"The same thing that is going on in the Catholic Church right now around the world, the exact same thing is happening in our community," JCW's founder Meyer Seewald told CBS News. "The cover-ups are the same, the stigma, the shame."
Seewald says tightly-knit Jewish communities across the U.S. will sometimes meet accusations against a member with incredulity, and that can have a chilling effect.
"Everyone goes and surrounds this individual and supports him because they can't believe a person can do such a crime. They take the abuser's side and the abuse continues," Seewald says. "They put him in another community. A few years later, he's done the same thing and we hear more allegations that the person is abusing children. Victims don't want to come forward when they see that."
JCW says the majority of its cases originate from modern Orthodox to Ultra-orthodox Jewish enclaves in the U.S., but that it happens across the wider Jewish community. Because perpetrators can't be held accountable unless victims come forward, many cases are believed to go unreported. To try to get them out into the light, JCW holds awareness events across the U.S., and offers victims of sexual abuse advice and emotional support.
Mendy Hauck decided to come forward after receiving support from JCW. The father of two says he was just 8-years-old when he was molested by a teacher at his Orthodox Jewish School in Los Angeles. Hauck says the abuse started one day when a friend brought in cookies for his birthday.
"I actually went ahead and reached for the biggest cookie and he said, 'Put it back and you could come back by recess and get your cookie,'" Hauck said. "So after he handed out the rest of the cookies to the other classmates, I had to stay behind if I wanted my cookie, and I did. He called me up to his desk... and that's when he started... rubbing me."
His alleged abuser is Mordechai Yomtov, a then-35-year-old Hebrew teacher.
"I jumped backwards like a step or two and he grabbed my hair and said, 'it's fine, you can come close. I won't hurt you. There is nothing wrong,' and he did it again," Hauck recalls.
Hauck says the abuse continued over the course of the year. He says he felt trapped, with nowhere to turn.
When the year finished, Hauck moved on to the next grade. That's when Yomtov's crimes caught up to him. In 2001, police arrested and charged him with committing lewd acts with three of his other students, ranging in age from 8 to 10. But Hauck never told anyone about his ordeal until years later.
Yomtov eventually pled guilty, served time in jail and was released on probation. But once free, he violated his probation by fleeing to Israel via Mexico.
JCW tracked him down and confronted him in Jerusalem with a hidden camera. Yomtov admitted that he violated his probation and illegally fled the United States, with help. He also said that in Mexico he obtained a fake passport in order to travel to Israel, where he lives illegally.
Yomtov denied abusing Hauck, but offered a general apology to his victims, saying: "I'm very, very sorry. I hope that God will help every single person who went through this. Please forgive me."
It wasn't until 2016, when another alleged victim of Yomtov and friend of Hauck's came forward, that Hauck felt compelled to tell his story. He filed a police report hoping to get justice, but says the processes has been slow. For him, justice is twofold.
"I want the (LA County District Attorney) to step up their game — you know, actually fight to get him back here and give him what he deserves," he says. "And also, I want the communities to make sure this doesn't happen again."
The district attorney's office told CBS News there has been no request to extradite Yomtov back to the United States, and declined any further comment.
