Anyone that saw the news coverage on the day 9-11 happened knew damn well that a plane did not hit the Pentagon. The hole in the side of the building was about 15 feet in diameter (with intact windows directly above the hole) and there was absolutely no plane wreckage on the ground around the building in that area. Here's confirmation of what we suspected all along. It should also be noted that this video matches up well with the only surveillance video of the attack on the Pentagon that has been released by the government (note that this appears to be a cruise missile, not a "scud" missile the woman keeps talking about) . . . I saw this movie on TV in CT in 1963 or 64. I can't recall any of the animal slaughters as they may have been editied for TV. I found those the hardest to watch. The only images that stuck in my memory were the scenes of the foie gras geese and the Capuchin cemetery. in Rome. It was the recent statement of Charles III banning Fois Gras for state dinners that reminded me of it.

This movie was very influential.

I suppose one has to agree that nothing it shows is very flattering about human nature but to damn their memory as perverse is to ignore that many of the actions depicted were also survival strategies.

It has a very Roman Catholic perspective that I was raised in, I don't think the scenes that touch on Eastern religions are very well understood. Their is more than a bit of religious chauvinism and misrepresentation to them.

What really amazes me is that world was only about 60 years ago. There probably isn't a single primitive tribe depicted that still lives as their grandparents, even great grandparents lived. They were all human beings and developed faster than even those in the developed world. That is the most staggering thing about them.

It makes me feel very stupid actually. I can't look at them with much of a sense of self-congratulatory chauvinism. I didn't make myself and didn't have to travel nearly as fast or cover such a great distance.

The ABC Action News I-Team has uncovered the record of a local plastic surgeon who has been arrested twice since 2020 for methamphetamine possession. Dr. William Wright Adams’ first felony criminal case was dropped. He’s now awaiting trial on his second crystal meth possession case. His license status is "Clear/Active" with no discipline or complaints

A St. Petersburg plastic surgeon who has been arrested twice since 2020 for methamphetamine possession is now awaiting trial on his second crystal meth case amid concerning details about the doctor's behavior.

Dr. William Wright Adams' first felony criminal case was dropped by prosecutors, but he now faces a December trial after police found meth in his backpack during a traffic stop while a patient waited under anesthesia in his office.

"They're putting someone to sleep right now for me to operate on. So I have to call them if I can't be there," Adams told officers in bodycam footage of the May 2022 arrest. "They're all waiting for me now."

Adams pleaded not guilty to meth possession and burglary charges from that arrest, although he has yet to stand trial 17 months later. This wasn't the doctor's first drug arrest, however.

In 2020, deputies seized crystal meth from Adams' backpack while he went through courthouse security during a dispute with an ex-boyfriend. That felony meth case was later dropped by the prosecutor in October 2020.

Beyond the drug allegations, records show deputies have responded to Adams' home more than 40 times in two years for "turbulent domestic" issues and fights with house guests. One guest went missing after threatening self-harm and was later found with meth.

Despite Adams' string of arrests and erratic behavior, the state health department shows his medical license remains clear and active. Meanwhile, the plastic surgeon continues seeing patients amid his impending trial.

It was a house of secrets and abuse.

In August, Oklahoma City police got a tip that a man had multiple children with his stepdaughter. That report would unravel a family and shake an entire community.

For the first time, and only on KOCO 5, hear from the adult children about life behind closed doors and the hero who would turn him in.

The cul-de-sac in southeastern Oklahoma City looks like any other, but inside the yellow house was a man with a secret. One woman, Doris Cole, would unearth the truth.

"It just took someone paying attention. And believe it or not, he was telling on himself every single day, but no one listened," Cole said.

A family of 11 lived in the yellow house: mom, dad and nine children who were hidden away from the world.

"They never left the house, only with him," a neighbor told KOCO 5 back in August.

The children had never been to school, a doctor's office, or even a movie theater – all to conceal a secret they never knew was wrong: their dad's relationship with their stepsister.

KOCO 5 asked if they knew the younger children were their dad's children, too.

"I already knew about but I didn’t know there was anything wrong with it," the 23-year-old who lived in the home said.

At 12 years old, their oldest sister had her first baby with their dad, according to court documents.

"We just grew up like it was normal to us," the 33-year-old who lived in the home said.

Their oldest sister gave birth to four more inside the home.

"Yeah, I think I was 7 or 8," the 20-year-old who lived in the home said.

KOCO 5 sat down with three of the siblings who wanted to share their story. We asked if they ever questioned why they weren't allowed to leave the house more.

"Dad always said he didn’t want us to get hurt or because he was protecting us from people outside," the 20-year-old said.

That would all change.

"I was looking for someone to paint the ceilings, and he answered the ad," Cole said.

Cole hired the father in 2017 as a contractor. She was opening several businesses at 10th Street and May Avenue.

"They looked really crazy every day. From the clothes they wore, the smell," Cole said.

He started taking two of his teenage daughters to work, and Cole picked up on something she couldn't let go of.

"They couldn’t read. They couldn’t write. The speech was really bad. When I first met her, I thought she had an accent," Cole said.

She would question the family's homeschooling, the father's persistent phone alerts and the van packed full of food and clothing.

"It’s hard because I’m the one who did it, but I’m also the one taking care of them. I’m hoping that anyone who wants to help is a genuine help," Cole said. "They’ve already been lied to and hurt their entire lives. I’m hoping their journey and the people they meet along the way remember that."

🚨NEWS ALERT: Emergency crews are attempting to recover trapped people after a major building collapse near the 770 Chabad Jewish Headquarters ⚠

Were their illegal tunnels responsible for this?

It took months, perhaps years, for a small crew of Lubavitchers to dig a secret passageway underneath 770 Eastern Parkway, the famed Brooklyn headquarters of the Chabad movement.

They would not let it be filled so easily.

The tunnel was discovered in December and deemed a danger to the structure. But when a cement truck arrived on Monday to fill in the tunnel, students mounted a last stand.

Ripping off wood paneling in the women’s section of the sanctuary, the students revealed the cavernous space and jumped inside, refusing to leave.

The NYPD eventually made 10 arrests, and video showed several men in Hasidic garb being led out, their wrists bound with zip ties.

Reports said those behind the tunnel’s excavation had hoped to expand 770, but it was not obvious how the tunnel, which connected the synagogue to the defunct Chabad mikvah around the corner, accomplished that.

The chaos at 770 is the latest chapter in a multiyear battle. The Chabad-Lubavitch movement, despite holding the title to the property, does not control the sanctuary that spans the space below it. It has been locked in litigation with a Chabad synagogue over control of that space for decades.

23andMe has three features that can identify evidence of Jewish ancestry from your DNA:

Ancestry Composition
First, you may have evidence of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry in your Ancestry Composition Report (Figure 1). DNA clearly shows connections among those who consider themselves to be Ashkenazi Jewish: two Ashkenazi Jewish people are very likely to be "genetic cousins," sharing long stretches of identical DNA. This reflects the fact that the Ashkenazi Jewish population expanded relatively recently from a small initial population.

Maternal Haplogroup
Second, you may have evidence of Jewish ancestry in your mitochondrial haplogroup (also known as a maternal haplogroup), available in the Maternal Haplogroup Report. The mitochondrial haplogroup is determined from your mitochondrial DNA, which is passed from mothers to their children (Figure 2).

Four mitochondrial haplogroups are found at high frequency in people of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry and rarely found in non-Ashkenazi Europeans: N1b, K1a1b1a, K1a9, and K2a2a. Therefore, Europeans carrying one of these haplogroups likely have Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry on their mothers-only line. However, approximately half of people with Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry do not carry one of these four haplogroups, so having a different haplogroup does not mean you don't have Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.

Paternal Haplogroup
Third, you may have evidence of Jewish ancestry in your Y-chromosome haplogroup (also known as a paternal haplogroup), available in the Paternal Haplogroup Report. The Y-chromosome haplogroup is determined from the Y chromosome, which is passed from fathers to their sons (Figure 3). Only men have Y chromosomes, but if a close paternal relative (for example, your father, brother, or paternal uncle) has also been genotyped, you can learn about your paternal ancestry from his haplogroup.

As is the case for mitochondrial haplogroups, several Y-chromosome haplogroups are far more common among Ashkenazi Jews than among other Europeans. Carrying one of these paternal lineages may indicate Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.

Nashville-based drag queen Veronika Electronika said she was tricked into participating in the right-wing, anti-transgender documentary The War on Children, and that her interview was heavily edited to change what she said.
In a recent article, Rolling Stone detailed the “deceptive tactics” allegedly used by filmmakers Robby and Landon Starbuck, whose film purports to explore the so-called sexualizing and grooming of children. The official description of the film on its website says that it features “whistleblowers, leftists caught on camera, survivors of child mutilation, trafficking victims, corporate executives exposing the plan to sexualize children, the creator of Libs of TikTok, Senator Rand Paul, Riley Gaines, Drag Performer, Pornhub’s Sex Ed Instructor, and many more.”
But according to Rolling Stone’s reporting, LGBTQ+ people and allies were approached under false pretenses. Emails obtained by the magazine show that Starbuck’s staff approached potential subjects about being interviewed for a movie with working titles like Identity Rising and It Takes a Village. Per Rolling Stone, Elektronika and others were told that the documentary would focus on the struggles of trans children, and how queer and trans people’s lives and mental health have been affected by the recent onslaught of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.
Some emails obtained by the magazine also claimed that the documentary would be directed by “award-winning” cinematographer Matt Rodgers, with no mention of Starbuck’s involvement, and that it would be distributed by a “household name” streaming service. When participants pressed for further information on the documentary, staffers claimed that they were under non-disclosure agreements, according to the emails. Almost all of the details that were shared, according to Rolling Stone,were “misleading or outright false.” Robby Starbuck is credited as the director and producer, and the film is only available on X and the right-wing video services Rumble and My Movies Plus.
Elektronika told Rolling Stone that last June, she arrived at a studio space to participate in what she was told would be an interview "on her views regarding the struggles faced by children in the trans community, and how the lives and mental health of LGBTQ+ people were being affected by the recent slew of bans and restrictions” on gender-affirming care and drag. She asked the interviewers what their last names were, and when they answered the latter with “Starbuck,” she attempted to exit the conversation.
“When I saw Mr. Starbuck walk through the hallway, I was like, ‘Wait a minute. I know this fucker,” Electronika told Rolling Stone. She added that the couple “tried to convince me to stay and I said, ‘You need to stop recording right now.’ The little red light kept going ... and then they wouldn’t stop. So I started recording myself.”
The incident is featured in the documentary, with the Starbucks asking her to “denounce behavior that is sexually explicit around children.” Elektronika provided her own recording to Rolling Stone, and the magazine wrote that her recording “makes clear that her conversation with the filmmakers was heavily edited to make it seem like she was completely unwilling to condemn the exposure of children to sexual material.” According to Rolling Stone, some of Elektronika’s answers were “used piecemeal,” and some were entirely left out of the final cut.
Sprinkled in among the thousands of glowing reviews are a few negative ones: “Watching this made me feel like a bad person."
“Obviously, parents can dictate what materials their children are exposed to,” Electronika told Rolling Stone. “There are no drag shows, or drag story hours, or LGBT events that are happening where children are showing up unaccompanied by a guardian or an adult. ... When we do have a drag event that is happening, where minors may be present, it would be a rare occurrence for anything sexually explicit to be occurring on stage.”
As Rolling Stone notes, these manipulative interview tactics are commonplace within right-wing media. The magazine also wrote that right-wing influencers are increasingly using the documentary format to “bypass social media and platform guidelines prohibiting hate speech
