The Satanic Temple’s controversial display in the rotunda of the Iowa Statehouse was destroyed Thursday by Michael Cassidy, who is a Christian U.S. Navy veteran.

An Iowa State Police spokesperson confirmed to Fox News that 35-year-old Cassidy was arrested Thursday and charged with 4th-degree criminal mischief for allegedly destroying the Iowa Satanic Temple’s Baphomet display in the Iowa Statehouse.

Cassidy also confirmed to Fox News that he destroyed The Satanic Temple’s display in the Iowa Statehouse rotunda. Asked why he tore down the statue, Cassidy told Fox News, “It was extremely anti-Christian.

Photos posted on social media show the remains of the Satanic Temple’s display after Cassidy allegedly beheaded the Satanic statue.

Cassidy describes himself on his X account as Christian, an “America First Conservative,” a Navy Reserve instructor pilot, and a test pilot. According to Fox News, Cassidy also ran for office in 2022 against Rep. Michael Guest (R-Miss.).

In addition to Cassidy’s statement to Fox News, he tweeted, “1 Peter 5:8 KJV Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

After Cassidy destroyed the display at the Iowa Statehouse Thursday, The Satanic Temple of Iowa posted a statement on Facebook, saying, “This morning, we were informed by authorities that the Baphomet statue in our holiday display was destroyed beyond repair.”

Prior to the destruction of the statue Thursday, Lucien Greaves, co-founder of The Satanic Temple, told KCCI Des Moines that the Satanic display would be featured in the Iowa Statehouse for two weeks.

“We’re going to really relish the opportunity to be represented in a public forum. We don’t have a church on every street corner,” Greaves said. “My feeling is if people don’t like our display in public forums, they don’t have to engage with them. They don’t have to view them.”

As Cassidy faces a charge of 4th-degree criminal mischief, conservatives such as Charlie Kirk, Matt Walsh, and Jack Posobiec have quickly worked to raise awareness and money for his legal defense fund. Alongside a photo of Cassidy and a photo of the destroyed statue, Kirk posted on social media, “Turning Point USA is proud to pledge $10,000 to his legal defense fund.”

In response to the outpouring of support by Christian conservatives, Cassidy released a statement Thursday on social media, saying, “Truly humbled by y’alls support. We raised the $20k we were looking for in just a couple hours. I directed the campaign to be paused – we have enough for now.”

🇬🇧🇮🇱 Jimmy Savile Takes A Little Kid On A Tour of Israel
Jimmy Saville was a massive British media personality who was revealed (after his death) to have sexually abused hundreds of children during his lifetime.
He is considered one of the most infamous pedophiles in history.
LONDON -- Patients in hospital beds; star-struck teenagers in a TV show audience; pupils at a school for troubled girls; a 10-year-old autograph hunter.
All fell victim to the late British entertainer Jimmy Savile, police said, describing him Friday as a sexual predator who used his fame to find victims and deliberately targeted individuals who would not speak out against him.
A three-month police investigation yielded a staggering litany of sexual crimes: 214 offences, including 34 rapes, over more than half a century, the majority of the victims under 18. Police say they expect the number of offences to rise as more allegations are investigated.
A police report published Friday describes a "prolific, predatory sex offender" whose celebrity unlocked the doors of institutions across Britain, from hospitals where he served as a charity fundraiser to schools whose pupils eagerly watched his television programs -- and even to the prime minister's country house, where he dined with Margaret Thatcher.
"It could be said that he groomed a nation," said Cmdr. Peter Spindler, head of the Metropolitan Police specialist crimes unit. "He was hiding in plain sight, but none of us were able to do anything about it."
The catalogue of abuse provides the fullest accounting yet of the allegations against Savile, a cigar-chomping, platinum-haired TV and radio personality who died in October 2011 at age 84. Savile's elaborate funeral reflected his status as a popular entertainer and tireless charity worker, but a documentary broadcast late last year pulled the mask away, claiming that he was a serial sex offender who traded on his celebrity to prey on vulnerable children.
The subsequent police investigation more than bore out those allegations. Detectives initially believed there were between 20 and 25 victims. So far, 450 have come forward with claims against Savile -- a scale of abuse police called "unprecedented in the U.K."
Child welfare experts say Savile's fame helped him achieve that grim distinction.
"Savile cunningly built his entire life around gaining access to vulnerable children," said Peter Watt of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Savile set himself up as a sinister Pied Piper; children came to him. He hosted the long-running BBC music show "Top of the Pops," which saw everyone from the Rolling Stones to the Sex Pistols perform before an audience of excited young people. Police say victims were assaulted in dressing rooms or groped during filming breaks. One victim was a teenager who said she was assaulted at the last-ever recording of the show in 2006, when Savile was nearly 80.
Savile also hosted "Jim'll Fix It," a BBC TV show on which he granted the wishes of young viewers who wrote in with cherished plans. Police said Savile would sometimes visit the letter-writers' schools, and some of the offences took place there.
"He could do anything he wanted," said Detective Supt. David Gray, who led the police investigation. "He could turn up at a school and say 'Is anyone interested in meeting me?"'
He often visited a school for troubled girls, where pupils were allegedly offered cigarettes and trips in Savile's car in return for sex. The flamboyant star often drove a convertible Rolls-Royce.
"He only picked on the most vulnerable," Gray said. "He was clever enough to know the ones less likely to speak out against him."
Savile also was a fundraiser for hospitals, including Leeds General Infirmary in his northern England home town and the Stoke Mandeville spinal injuries centre in southern England. Police said he committed 50 assaults at 14 medical establishments, including a cancer hospice and several psychiatric hospitals. Among his victims were ill youngsters confined to bed.
Savile's charitable work raised his profile and credibility. Recently released records show he lobbied Thatcher for government donations and tax breaks for charities.
"I find it quite scary that people who had the power to stop him didn't use that power ... and he went on to do the most horrific things to people in the most awful circumstances," said Caroline Moore, who says Savile abused her as she recovered from a spinal operation at Stoke Mandeville in 1971.
⁣Some Savile victims did speak out. Several women went to police to report Saville in 2003, 2007 and 2008, and senior prosecutor Alison Levitt said Friday that the entertainer could have been brought to justice while he was alive, if officials had pursued the allegations more vigorously.
The BBC -- which has been strongly criticized for dropping an investigation into Savile's crimes shortly after this death -- and several health bodies are holding their own inquiries into how Savile was able to get away with decades of abuse.
Peter Saunders of the National Association for People Abused in Childhood said authorities must be more prepared to listen to children who say they have been abused.
"I want us to forget Jimmy Savile. He is not worthy of memory," Saunders said. "But I want us to remember his many victims."

⁣The picture below is the “small cell” outside my hotel bedroom window in San Francisco on my last California trip, likely built in the name of 5G. Now, California Governor Newsom has a decision to make about two bills, AB 537and SB 556. If he signs them into law, these bills would strip local authority and make it easier for companies to build “short” 5G “small” cell towers on neighborhood streets.
5G is the fifth generation wireless aiming to tie together the latest and greatest technology at super-fast speeds.
In order to make it work, companies want to erect millions of new short cell towers called “small cells” near homes and schools on poles called “small cells.” According to the FCC, hundreds of thousands of new wireless transmitters will be attached to street lights, utility poles and buildings.
Published peer-reviewed research documents how 5G and the densification of network radiation emissions from small cells will increase environmental exposure levels of radio frequency non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation throughout the neighborhood.
Yet when people protest wireless network antennas being outside their bedroom windows, they are met with safety assurances from telecommunications company and government officials.
If 5G and wireless radiation are so safe then why do insurance authorities classify 5G as high risk?
“Off the leash — 5G mobile networks” is the title of a Chapter in the 2019 Swiss Re Report on New Emerging Risks for the Insurance industry, which rates
5G as a “high impact” risk.
“As the biological effects of EMF in general and 5G in particular are still being debated, potential claims for health impairments may come with a long latency. An uptick in liability claims could be a potential long-term consequence.”

If 5G and wireless radiation are so safe then why do insurance companies refuse to cover damages from non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation?
For example, the Portland Oregon Public School Genesis Insurance Company states,
“Exclusions: This insurance does not apply to: Bodily injury, personal injury, advertising injury, or property damage arising directly or indirectly out of, resulting from, caused or contributed to by electromagnetic radiation, provided that such loss, cost or expense results from or is contributed to by the hazardous properties of electromagnetic radiation.”

If 5G and wireless radiation are so safe then why do the wireless companies themselves define non-ionizing radiation as a “pollutant?”
Both AT&T Mobile Insurance(pg. 4)and Verizon Total Mobile Protection (page 10)state that coverage is excluded for pollutants, which are defined as “Any solid, liquid, gaseous, or thermal irritant or contaminant including smoke, vapor, soot, fumes, acid, alkalis, chemicals, artificially produced electric fields, magnetic field, electromagnetic field, sound waves, microwaves, and all artificially produced ionizing or non-ionizing radiation and waste.”
And finally, if 5G and wireless radiation are so safe then why do wireless companies themselves warn their shareholders of potential risks but not warn customers who buy their products and not warn people living with wireless network antennas directly outside their bedroom windows?
Crown Castle warns shareholders in their 2020 10-K tax filing that:
“If radio frequency emissions from wireless handsets or equipment on our communications infrastructure are demonstrated to cause negative health effects, potential future claims could adversely affect our operations, costs or revenues.
“The potential connection between radio frequency emissions and certain negative health effects, including some forms of cancer, has been the subject of substantial study by the scientific community in recent years. We cannot guarantee that claims relating to radio frequency emissions will not arise in the future or that the results of such studies will not be adverse to us.”
“If a connection between radio frequency emissions and possible negative health effects were established, our operations, costs, or revenues may be materially and adversely affected. We currently do not maintain any significant insurance with respect to these matters.”
Verizon Wireless warns their shareholders in their 10-K form to the US Securities and Exchange Commission that:
“We are subject to a substantial amount of litigation, which could require us to pay significant damages or settlements."

Braydon Smith had a $30 gift card to spend as he was walking down an aisle at Academy Sports + Outdoors and saw an ax and a machete.
The 11-year-old decided he could use them to help cut down trees and branches for campfires. His dad put up the extra $15 to make the purchase possible.
“Me and my Dad go camping a decent amount,” Braydon said.
Braydon used the tools in the backyard of his gray mobile home that sits amid winding rural roads, open pastures and plenty of woods to explore. The blade on the machete rusted a little and red tape held the handle on.
Braydon hadn’t taken the tools camping yet, but the 70-pound sixth-grader with freckles on his nose and cheeks used the machete last week when an intruder broke into his home and tried to steal his PlayStation.
The tools were propped against Braydon’s bedroom wall, near his bunk bed, baseball trophies and Pokémon cards. Braydon has been playing baseball since he was big enough to swing a bat. In a cabinet under his bed, he keeps a box with his 11 championship rings from area recreational and travel leagues.
He also likes playing video games and with his dogs, boxers named Dixon and Zena.
A KNOCK ON THE DOOR
Around 11 a.m. Friday, Braydon was playing Grand Theft Auto on his PlayStation when he heard someone outside his Mebane, North Carolina, home.
He ran to his bedroom in the 900-square-foot home and looked out the window.
A woman was knocking on the door, and two men were standing near a champagne-colored car.
Braydon was on the phone with his mom. He asked her to call the police before he put the phone down in the living room and stepped behind the door in his bedroom.
Through his window, he saw one of the men walk toward the other side of the home and heard a window “get slammed in.”
“My heart was beating, but I knew that I had to do something, like hit him with something, so I just grabbed a weapon that was nearby,” he said.
A young man, whom police later identified as Jataveon Deshawn Hall, 19, slowly walked through the home. He grabbed a pellet rifle, which Braydon knew was not loaded.
When he came to Braydon’s room, the man peeked through door with the rifle.
“He grabbed my machete and told me to sit on the ground and get in the closet,” Braydon said.
Braydon obeyed, until the man turned his back as he walked into the living room and started to pocket Braydon’s cell phone.
Braydon picked up the machete the man had dropped on the floor and swung it at him, striking him in the back of the neck.
The man kicked Braydon a few times and pushed him down, he said.
Braydon swung the machete again but missed.
The man tried to grab the PlayStation and television.
“He noticed that he was bleeding in the back of the head really badly,” Braydon said. “So he just dropped everything and ran out of the door.”
‘THERE IS BLOOD ON MY FLOOR’
Braydon’s mother, who lives out of state, called his aunt, who called 911.
“You hit them in the back of the head with a machete?” the 911 operator asked after Braydon told the story.
“Did you see if he was bleeding at all?” the operator said.
“Yes,” Braydon said. “There is blood on my floor.”
Hall showed up later at UNC Hospitals in Hillsborough but was transferred to the Chapel Hill hospital, which he left around 8 p.m. Friday against medical advice and without the Sheriff’s Office being alerted, The News & Observer reported.
Hall was arrested Sunday in Burlington on charges of breaking and entering, second-degree kidnapping, interfering with emergency communications and assault on a child under 12. He is being held on $175,000 bail.
No other arrest have been made.
Braydon worried that Hall or the others might come back. His Dad slept on the couch for a few days with a pistol nearby.
Hall “should have got a job before he broke into people’s houses,” Braydon said.
HOME ALONE
Christopher Smith, 30, who works for a small electrical company, was minutes from his home when he learned about the break in.
It was rare for Braydon to be home alone, Smith said, but he thought his son’s camp started Thursday instead of the following Monday.
Braydon said he wanted to stay home and play video games.
“I trust him,” Smith said. “I felt like he could feed himself. And, of course, not burn the house down. And he could defend himself.”
Questions like what if the man had a gun “play in my mind over and over,” Smith said.
“It was all a higher power than us,” he said.

⁣A former reality star who claimed she has been secretly dating a US Senator for the last year has decided to 'expose all of his dirty secrets' online - including his bizarre fetishes that saw him paying her to eat Taco Bell in front of him.

90 Day Fiancé alum Stephanie Matto, 33, alleged that she's been embroiled in an online romance with a 'terrible' government official in a recent TikTok video before lifting the lid on some of the more salacious details of their relationship.

According to the TV personality, who appeared in the TLC reality series in 2020 and previously went viral for discussing her 'awful' experience dating an HBO star, she and the unnamed Senator would have 'virtual dates' that involved her consuming meals while he watched in exchange for money.

But Stephanie explained that she recently decided to 'cut ties with him' after his 'beliefs' became too 'crazy and radical' - and now that it's over, she's opted to spill 'some dirt' on the man.

'I have dated a US Senator for the past year and kept it a huge secret up until today,' Stephanie - who has previously prompted controversy by selling her farts in jars online - said in a video posted to her TikTok earlier this week, which has now been viewed more than 1.2 million times.

Stephanie explained that during a virtual date a couple weeks ago, she asked him if he agreed with the 'policies of his political party' - and his response left her unsettled.

'He told me something that was so despicable and so concerning,' she continued.

'He told me that he doesn't actually care about politics, he doesn't care about people, he doesn't care about women. He only cares about money and the power that he yields.'

The star explained that the Senator used a 'burner account' to chat with her online.

She also claimed that he once threatened her after she told him she was going to reveal his identity online.

'One of my family members is an immigrant and he has actually threatened to have them deported,' she stated. 'Honestly, I'm tired.'

In another video, which got a whopping 50,300 views, Stephanie shed some more light on the relationship.

'The relationship we had was online, strictly virtual. He would constantly schedule virtual dates with me,' she dished.

'He would sometimes pay money to watch me eat Taco Bell. He did make me sign an NDA. I think he just needed a confidant that was completely apolitical, which I am.'

While Stephanie didn't share his identity, she did reveal one major clue about the man she alleged that she was dating: he's an avid fisherman.
Immediately, people on the web got to work on trying to figure out who she was referring to.

Some said they believed it was Senator Eric Schmitt, from Missouri, who is a married Republican that loves to fish.

Others guessed Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, and Idaho Senator Geoff Schroeder.

However there is no evidence whatsoever to indicate that any of the suggested senators featured in the comments have any connection to Stephanie whatsoever.

Stephanie, who identifies as bisexual, was a part of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise's first same-sex relationship.

She often goes viral on TikTok for sharing her controversial takes - and has racked up more than 103,000 followers.

A century-old rail lift bridge that crosses the U.S.-Canada border near the cities of International Falls, Minnesota, and Fort Frances, Ontario, has collapsed, and it's unclear when the area will reopen to water traffic along the Rainy River.

No trains were involved, and no one was injured in Wednesday's collapse, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The cause is under investigation.

Some "biodegradable, non-toxic hydraulic oil" was released, but environmental crews have contained it and are working to recover the fluid, the Canadian National Railway said.

Crews have begun repairs to the structure, which was built in 1908. It's known as the Rainy River Rail Lift Bridge and the 5 Mile Bridge, and swings up to let traffic through on the river that forms the international border as it runs from Lake of the Woods to Rainy Lake.
