A young woman ran over and killed a man in Campo Grande, last Sunday (22), around 7 pm. The images were recorded by a security camera.

The man was the boyfriend of the driver’s mother. According to the police, he assaulted and raped her mother, which motivated the daughter’s retaliation.

The video shows the moment the man appears sitting on the sidewalk, in front of a market, when the car runs over him. It all happened around 7 pm, on Rua Afluente. Another man, who was at the scene talking to the victim, managed to divert and was not hit.

After running over the victim for the first time, the driver again threw the car on top of the man, who was injured. The driver still got out of the vehicle and started arguing with the victim and then fled the scene.

The man was rescued by teams from the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) and the Military Fire Department. As found, he was sent in serious condition to Santa Casa.

According to the Civil Police, the driver remains outlawed. Teams carry out diligences in the region, but she has not yet been located. The case has been registered as attempted murder and is still being investigated.

Having been tortured, Rudolf Höss, who was the commander of Auschwitz from 1940 to 1943, almost certainly lied to save the lives of his wife and children. Even if torture and duress cannot be proven, the overwhelming reason for recognizing the utter falsity of the Höss confession is that the gassing method he described was not scientifically plausible.

Yet Höss’s conviction has stood, by inference, as a testament to the cruelty of Germans in general, since he was tried at Nuremberg, in 1947, and subsequently hanged on April 16th, 1947, in Poland.

Making a statement like this which doubts the officially ordained narrative can be a crime in a number of western "democracies," believe it or not, and it is at least considered to be reprehensible in those countries that have not (yet?) outlawed dissenting views on this topic.

This video discusses the social and judicial persecution of individuals voicing dissident opinions on the historical event usually referred to as the Holocaust. It castigates that persecution and lays bare the illegality and amorality of such activities. In addition, a number of the most striking historical arguments why dissenting = revisionist views on the Holocaust are reasonable, are presented. So, if I see them as fellow Transhumanists and marranos, why not join them? I've thought about it. There are many reasons why I would hesitate to do it. This week, we’re looking at unfinished infrastructure—places around the world where grand visions didn’t quite live up to their potential. Previously: the nuclear power plant in Crimea that Chernobyl stopped dead.

THE TOWER WENT 187 FEET up into the sky. The base was framed with wood, but the giant ball on top, 68 feet in diameter, was made of steel. In the ground below, there were said to be tunnels and an “iron root system” that went deep into earth. Nikola Tesla, the inventor and engineer who helped electrify America, believed the tower was the start of a system that could deliver electricity, without wires, to the whole world.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Tesla had become famous for his work on AC power. But he had other big ideas. At his laboratory in Colorado, he had conducted experiments with wireless transmission, trying to send electricity through the ground. His notes on this work are hard to draw conclusions from. But it seems that in at least one instance he had some success. At the very least, he came back east convinced that he could make this idea a reality, on a much larger scale.

After shopping his idea around to the some of the richest men in the world, Tesla secured backing—a solid $150,000—from J.P. Morgan. The investor was most interested in the idea of wireless communication: Guglielmo Marconi, an Italian inventor, had recently been demonstrating his system for wireless telegraphy, sending messages from ships back to land. But Tesla had bigger ideas.

Construction began in 1901 in Long Island on what would become known as Wardenclyffe Tower. Tesla imagined that it would be the beginning of a network of towers, 30 at least, around the world. This idea was never going to work: The scientific theories that underlay Tesla’s dream would later be pulled apart. Electricity can be transmitted through the air, but the amount of power needed to send any substantial amount makes this an extremely impractical system. But even to try it, Tesla needed more money, which Morgan was unwilling to provide. There were reports of sparks flying from the tower once or twice, but for the most part it remained a hulking metal orb of mysterious purpose.

After financing dried up, Tesla mortgaged the property and eventually, as his financial troubles grew deeper, he lost it altogether. In 1917, the new owner, trying to recoup some value, had the tower dynamited down and converted into scrap metal. THIS is the shocking moment a Brazilian TV presenter and mayoral candidate smashed a political rival over the head with a chair.

The WWE-style footage shows TV presenter Jose Luiz Datena launching a heavy stool at political rival Pablo Marcal during a heated electoral debate on live TV.

Marcal was able to deflect the blow at the last minute but was hospitalised with suspected fractured ribs and breathing difficulties after the brutal attack.

Both men are bidding to become mayor of Sao Paulo.

Far-right influencer and life coach Marcal had upset Datena by mentioning sexual harassment allegations made against the TV host which were dismissed by prosecutors.

It led to an exchange of insults which ended with the physical assault.

Marcal had accused his political rival of wanting to attack him during a previous TV debate but said he didn't because he was "not man enough".

The debate, organised by specialist TV channel TV Cultura, was briefly suspended.

It was restarted with the remaining candidates after Marcal was taken to hospital and while Datena was expelled from the building.

Datena has been reported to police by a lawyer acting for Marcal, but there were no immediate reports of an arrest.

The politician admitted “losing it” in comments made as he left the TV studio.

He linked his reaction to stress caused by the death of his mother-in-law from a stroke after the sexual harassment allegations made against him.

Datena said: "I don’t choose moments of emotion. I’m a real man."

He added: "I felt it all coming back to me and I really couldn't help myself.

"Am I wrong? Yes. But what can I do?"

TV Cultura said in a statement: “TV Cultura regrets the episode that took place during the debate with candidates for Sao Paulo City Hall on Sunday involving candidates Jose Luiz Datena and Pablo Marcal.

“The broadcaster reiterates that, following the aggression, all measures were taken in accordance with the rules previously established in writing between TC Cultura and the campaigns of all the candidates present, including the expulsion of candidate Jose Luiz Datena.

“The debate continued subject to the consultation and agreement of the other candidates.

“During the event, all measures including those related to press coverage, were taken to ensure the safety of those present in line with the rules previously agreed.”

A statement released by Pablo Marcal’s advisors overnight said: "Pablo Marcal was cowardly attacked by Jose Luiz Datena, who hit him in the ribs with an iron chair.

"Unfortunately, Marcal had to leave the debate in an ambulance to receive emergency medical care.

"It's unfortunate that the debate continued without the presence of the candidate who was attacked.

"Pablo Marcal is injured, with suspected fractures to his chest and difficulty breathing.

"We hope that the appropriate legal measures will be taken and we count on people's prayers."

An earlier mayoral debate involving five participants had been described by one newspaper as "all bark and no bite."

Both men are bidding to become the mayor of Sao Paulo and have not held a political office before.
