The editor inchief of the conservative magazine National Review, Rich Lowry, appears to have used a racial slur during a conversation on The Megyn Kelly Show, in which the two pundits were discussing the rampant falsehoods about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio. Lowry dropped the slur in place of the word "migrants," quickly correcting himself after.

"Police have gone through 11 months of recordings of calls and they've only found two Springfield residents calling to complain about Haitian [n word]s," he said, seemingly correcting afterward by adding, "migrants."

Kelly did not react to Lowry's apparent slip-up, nor did she address it when he finished speaking. Instead, the two defended Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance, who spread the claims despite admitting they are false, praising his "alternative facts."

Vance doubled down on debunked claims about Haitian immigrants abducting pets to eat them and falsely linked the migrant community to rising rates of HIV and tuberculosis in an interview last week with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. He later admitted the rumors were false but defended spreading them in a Sunday interview with Dana Bash on CNN.

“If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, Dana, then that’s what I’m going to do because you guys are completely letting Kamala Harris coast," Vance said.

The conspiracy theory that Haitian immigrants in Springfield were stealing and eating pets went viral after former President Donald Trump spread the false claims during last Tuesday's presidential debate. Trump insisted that immigrants were “eating the dogs and cats” of residents, despite local officials consistently debunking the rumors and noting that no evidence supported the claims.

After backlash, Lowry claimed on Twitter/X that he misspoke, insisting that he "began to mispronounce the word 'migrants' and caught myself halfway through."

⁣What To Do If Your Pet Eats Your Stash | High Times


⁣We recently looked into the rising phenomenon of treating pets with medical cannabis. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center’s official position on pets and cannabis states: “At this point the ASPCA does not support using marijuana in pets for pain control. There have been no scientifically accepted studies comparing marijuana products to known pain control medications (opioids, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). In addition, research has not been able to adequately define what a safe and effective dose of marijuana would be due to the wide variety in product available.”


The clinical effects of THC ingestion in pets can include depression, listlessness, loss of motor coordination and balance, vomiting, hypothermia, agitation, diarrhea, drooling, urinary incontinence, seizures and, in a very few reported cases, coma or death. That’s no fun for Fido—or for any responsible pet owner. So, just as you keep your edibles, dabs, hash and flowers away from kids, keep it off the coffee table so that Mr. Snix doesn’t scarf it down and get all woozy. And here’s what to do if your pet does eat your stash:


1. Figure out what your pet ingested. Did he scarf down a joint? He’ll probably be okay. Did he snarf your 180 mg Bhang Bar? Chocolate can be fatally toxic to dogs, so Bowser may be doubly afflicted if he gobbled a cocoa-licious edible. Either way, play it safe: Don’t wait for symptoms to start. Treat him yourself right away, or get him to a veterinarian.


2. If you choose to treat your precious pooch or kitty at home, give him activated charcoal orally. It’s a good idea to always have some on hand; you can buy it at most drug stores. The activated charcoal traps toxins as they move through the digestive system. Keep your sweetie warm and in a dark, quiet place, and have fluids at the ready if he’s able to drink a little bit.


3. If you’ve given your little guy activated charcoal and he’s not showing signs of improvement, or is getting worse, take him to the vet right away. A veterinarian can put your pet on IV fluids and monitor him in case of more severe symptoms.


4. Be honest with the vet. Vets are not obligated to report marijuana poisoning, and they need to know what’s going on to properly treat your fur baby. Also, you don’t want to pay for a bunch of tests just so the vet can figure out that the dog ate your weed.


5. Stay calm. Animals with marijuana poisoning rarely die. Just be a good buddy, speak in a soothing voice, let your critter know that you’re there for him—and keep your stash in a safer place in the future.

Funny thing about 2020 all cause mortality; it was 5% below the previous 3 years averaged. (UK was 6% below average) Closing hospitals saved lives.
Heart attack deaths dropped for the first time in US history.
There were zero SIDS deaths and almost no vaccine deaths.
Old people died at normal rates for the year.
Decreases in deaths from all other causes matched exactly the number of deaths attributed to corona. There was no pandemic. There wasn't even a virus.
It was all bacterial pneumonia and death protocols and denial of antibiotics.

All those old folks who died in March and April were murdered by Cuomo and 4 other governors by putting patients sick with bacterial pneumonia, not corona, into nursing and vets homes—and then withholding antibiotics from them because fake virus.

They killed those old folks to create a death spike and to convince you a virus did it. Americans were given less than half the antibiotics than are given in a normal year and so lots more people died of bacterial and fungal pneumonia.

For decades, Dylan Farrow has alleged that her father Woody Allen sexually assaulted her in the attic of her mother Mia Farrow’s Connecticut home on August 4, 1992. Nearly 30 years after the initial accusations, footage of a 7-year-old Dylan recounting the assault the day after it allegedly took place has been released for the first time as part of HBO's new documentary series Allen v. Farrow, which premiered February 21.

The Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering-directed series digs into one of the film industry's most infamous cases. The four-part docuseries is a comprehensive look at the relationship between Mia Farrow and Woody Allen and its dissolution that began in January of 1992 when Farrow discovered nude photographs of her 21-year-old daughter Soon-Yi Previn in Allen’s apartment. Later that year, Mia Farrow and Allen’s 7-year-old daughter Dylan accused Allen of sexual assault. Woody Allen has always denied the allegations, arguing that Dylan was brainwashed by Mia, who was scorned when she learned of his affair with her eldest daughter Previn.

On August 5, 1992, family friend Casey Pascal’s babysitter, who was at Farrow’s home at the time of the alleged assault, told Pascal that she witnessed what she deemed an inappropriately intimate physical interaction between Woody Allen and Dylan in the living room. According to the documentary, Mia asked Dylan about what had occurred the previous day, and Dylan recounted her assault while Mia recorded her. The video footage of this is seen by the public for the first time in Allen v. Farrow. On CBS This Morning in 2018, Dylan explained: “I was taken to a small attic crawl space in my mother’s country house in Connecticut by my father. He instructed me to lay down on my stomach and play with my brother’s toy train that was set up. And he sat behind me in the doorway, and as I played with the toy train, I was sexually assaulted.”

Here's the thing. Winwood was 16 or 17 yrs. old when he wrote this.
In those days, street slang for heroin was 'boy' and for cocaine was 'girl'.
High heel boy refers to a mixture of heroin and coke, commonly called a speedball.
The 'low spark' is a description of the physical feeling brought on by injecting the speedball.

The man in the suit is the dealer, making profits on the dreams of his customers.

The gun that didn't make any noise is simply a hypodermic syringe...[update: it was a metaphor for the cover-up media, as explained above - VfB]

This is one of the most truly savage songs in history, way deeper than nearly anything else from its era.
