⁣A former reality star who claimed she has been secretly dating a US Senator for the last year has decided to 'expose all of his dirty secrets' online - including his bizarre fetishes that saw him paying her to eat Taco Bell in front of him.

90 Day Fiancé alum Stephanie Matto, 33, alleged that she's been embroiled in an online romance with a 'terrible' government official in a recent TikTok video before lifting the lid on some of the more salacious details of their relationship.

According to the TV personality, who appeared in the TLC reality series in 2020 and previously went viral for discussing her 'awful' experience dating an HBO star, she and the unnamed Senator would have 'virtual dates' that involved her consuming meals while he watched in exchange for money.

But Stephanie explained that she recently decided to 'cut ties with him' after his 'beliefs' became too 'crazy and radical' - and now that it's over, she's opted to spill 'some dirt' on the man.

'I have dated a US Senator for the past year and kept it a huge secret up until today,' Stephanie - who has previously prompted controversy by selling her farts in jars online - said in a video posted to her TikTok earlier this week, which has now been viewed more than 1.2 million times.

Stephanie explained that during a virtual date a couple weeks ago, she asked him if he agreed with the 'policies of his political party' - and his response left her unsettled.

'He told me something that was so despicable and so concerning,' she continued.

'He told me that he doesn't actually care about politics, he doesn't care about people, he doesn't care about women. He only cares about money and the power that he yields.'

The star explained that the Senator used a 'burner account' to chat with her online.

She also claimed that he once threatened her after she told him she was going to reveal his identity online.

'One of my family members is an immigrant and he has actually threatened to have them deported,' she stated. 'Honestly, I'm tired.'

In another video, which got a whopping 50,300 views, Stephanie shed some more light on the relationship.

'The relationship we had was online, strictly virtual. He would constantly schedule virtual dates with me,' she dished.

'He would sometimes pay money to watch me eat Taco Bell. He did make me sign an NDA. I think he just needed a confidant that was completely apolitical, which I am.'

While Stephanie didn't share his identity, she did reveal one major clue about the man she alleged that she was dating: he's an avid fisherman.
Immediately, people on the web got to work on trying to figure out who she was referring to.

Some said they believed it was Senator Eric Schmitt, from Missouri, who is a married Republican that loves to fish.

Others guessed Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, and Idaho Senator Geoff Schroeder.

However there is no evidence whatsoever to indicate that any of the suggested senators featured in the comments have any connection to Stephanie whatsoever.

Stephanie, who identifies as bisexual, was a part of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise's first same-sex relationship.

She often goes viral on TikTok for sharing her controversial takes - and has racked up more than 103,000 followers.

Following is the case brief for Marbury v. Madison, United States Supreme Court, (1803)

Madison failed to finalize the former president’s appointment of William Marbury as Justice of the Peace.

Marbury directly petitioned the Supreme Court for an equitable remedy in the form of a writ of mandamus.

The Supreme Court held that although Marbury was entitled to a remedy, Section 13 of the Judiciary Act of 1789 expanding the Supreme Court’s original jurisdiction was unconstitutional.

Prior to this case, no law had been rendered unconstitutional. The major significance of Marbury v. Madison is that it helped define the original jurisdiction of the United States Supreme Court.

Rule of Law or Legal Principle Applied:

The United States Supreme Court has the authority to review both the legislative acts of congress and laws to determine if they comply with the Constitution.

Reasoning:

Justice Marshall held that although Marbury was entitled to his commission, the United States Supreme Court could not hear the case because it lacked original jurisdiction.

Marbury was lawfully appointed as Justice of the Peace through the president’s (Adams) signing of Marbury’s commission and Senate confirmation.

Under federal law, Marbury is entitled to a remedy. Whether or not Marbury may receive a remedy is contingent upon whether the appointment made Marbury an agent of the president or assigned a duty by law. If appointed as a political agent of the president, Marbury is not entitled to a remedy.

However, if Marbury was deprived of the ability to carry out a duty assigned to him by law, Marbury is entitled to a remedy. Here, Adams gave legal title to the office of Justice of the Peace to Marbury for the length of the appointment. Madison interfered with Marbury’s legal title when he refused to finalize Marbury’s appointment. As a result, Marbury is entitled to a remedy.

Section 13 of the Judiciary Act of 1789 authorizing the United States Supreme Court jurisdiction to provide the remedy of a writ of mandamus is unconstitutional. The Judiciary Act of 1789 permits the Supreme Court to exercise original jurisdiction over causes of actions for writs of mandamus. The problem is the provision directly conflicts with the Constitution, specifically Article III. Article III serves as a limitation on the types of cases the Supreme Court has original jurisdiction over. Cases not within the Supreme Court’s original jurisdiction may fall under the Court’s appellate jurisdiction. In short, Section 13 of The Act is unconstitutional since it attempts to expand the original jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.

Significance:

The holding of Marbury v. Madison established the United States Supreme Court’s power to determine whether a law passed by Congress was constitutional (Judicial Review). Prior to this case, it was clear that laws conflicting with the Constitution were invalid, but the branch of government who determined validity had not been established.

⁣The four plaintiffs, referred to as John Roes, allege that Herget’s involvement in church activities enabled him to exploit and abuse them between 2001 and 2005.

According to the lawsuit, Herget was convicted in 1993 of raping his 13-year-old daughter and served 180 days of a seven-year sentence after senior Church members allegedly wrote letters advocating for leniency. The complaint states that following his release, Herget attended services and was given church responsibilities involving children.
Mountlake Terrace police arrested Herget in 2005 on 18 charges, including child molestation and child rape. Herget died by suicide while in Snohomish County Jail, according to Seattle Times.
The suit claims Herget created “special programs” with candy taped inside that he distributed to boys, sometimes with Church leaders present, and that he dressed as Santa Claus during church events where children sat on his lap.
In 2002, Herget was allegedly rebaptized into the Church despite ongoing abuse, and his position as a High Priest was restored in 2004.
Each plaintiff describes separate instances of abuse that included masturbation, oral sex, groping and fondling – some of which occurred in the Church parking lot and involved victims as young as 5.
“For years, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints allowed this depraved sexual offender to have unrestricted access to countless children, the most vulnerable members of their community,” said Stan Gipe of Dolman Law Group. “After years of systemic abuse at the hands of someone that the Church empowered, our clients are finally seeking justice from this morally corrupt institution that sat by idly and allowed this horrific abuse to occur. We will do everything in our power to ensure that the LDS church is held fully accountable for their purposeful neglect of these children, and to force change so that other innocent children never have to experience this type of evil again.”
The complaint seeks unspecified monetary damages from the Church, alleging lasting physical and emotional harm to the four plaintiffs, according to the lawsuit.
