⁣It's not antisemitic to say that's enough.

That we've had enough. We've sent enough. We've allowed enough.

It's not antisemitic to point out that its predominantly jewish people and organizations that fund almost all the programs that have kept us caged and indoctrinated for the past 80+ years.

⁣Red Pill USA - Is saying "Christ is King" antisemitic?

What do you think?

🎥

While "Christ is King" is a common Christian statement, its use can be problematic when it's employed in a way that disparages or insults Jewish people. The issue arises when the phrase is used to assert Jewish people's supposed rejection of Jesus, which can be rooted in antisemitic tropes. However, the phrase itself, when used genuinely to express Christian belief, is not inherently antisemitic.

Elaboration:
Historical Context:
.
The phrase "Christ is King" has a complex history. It's a title used to describe Jesus's position as the rightful king of the Kingdom of God, not to mock Jewish people. However, some Christians have historically used it to assert that Jewish people are cursed or rejected because they didn't acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah.

Antisemitic Use:
.
When "Christ is King" is used in a way that implies Jewish people are inherently wrong or evil because they don't believe in Jesus, it can be considered antisemitic. This is especially problematic when the phrase is paired with other antisemitic tropes like "deicide" (the belief that Jewish people are responsible for Jesus's death) or "supersessionism" (the belief that Christianity superseded Judaism).

Genuinely Christian Use:
.
When "Christ is King" is used as a genuine expression of Christian faith and belief in Jesus, it's not antisemitic. This includes using the phrase to express comfort, hope, or as an observation of fact.

Context Matters:
.
The way the phrase is used and the context in which it's used are crucial. A statement like "I believe that Christ is King" is different from a statement that uses "Christ is King" to criticize Jewish people.

Remembering Carmen González, a powerful voice for Boyle Heights and its youth
By Alejandra Molina | Boyle Heights Beat
Published Aug 15, 2025 9:32 AM

Congress has cut federal funding for public media — a $3.4 million loss for LAist. We count on readers like you to protect our nonprofit newsroom. Become a monthly member and sustain local journalism.

Carmen González, who spent much of her youth uplifting her Boyle Heights community through activism, journalism, and student mentorship — and served as Student Journalism Manager at Boyle Heights Beat — died on Saturday from heart failure. She was 24.

“Carmen was the pride and joy of the family. A powerhouse,” her family wrote in an Instagram post announcing her passing.

“If people ever think about Carmen, I just want them to know that she was very loving, very giving, and also a very logical person,” Alejandra González, her sister, told Boyle Heights Beat. “She just loved life. She loved the community. She loved people.”

In her young life, Carmen filled several roles: the eldest daughter to her two siblings, a “Swiftie” with an encyclopedic knowledge of Taylor lore, a staunch activist for immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, a photographer with Las Fotos Project, and a reporter, radio host and producer for Boyle Heights Beat, where she also mentored student journalists. She graduated from Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez High in 2019 and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Cal State Long Beach earlier this year.

The journalist Carmen Gonzalez told the story of her community, LA's Boyle Heights
August 13, 20253:59 PM ET

Christopher Intagliata
The journalist Carmen Gonzalez died Saturday at 24. She worked for the Boyle Heights Beat, among other publications, and hosted podcasts, mentored student journalists, and appeared in reports on NPR.

I first met Carmen Gonzalez on a reporting trip to Los Angeles in 2018. She was 17 years old, a high school senior. And I caught up with her as she was riding a bus to her job at a community newspaper called Boyle Heights Beat.

CARMEN GONZALEZ: My first article was about a homeless community college student. And that was a story I don't think a lot of people, like, talk about. It changed my life. And seeing, like, someone else struggle in a different way, like, kind of solidified the fact that I wanted to be a journalist and tell these stories.

JESSE HARDMAN: Carmen had a beautiful mind. I haven't met too many people who were able to speak eloquently on everything from Taylor Swift to ICE raids.

SHAPIRO: Gonzalez was from Boyle Heights, a majority Latino, mostly working-class neighborhood with a long history of political activism. She grew up without legal status and just recently obtained her U.S. citizenship. Hardman says the people in the community motivated much of the reporting Gonzalez did.

HARDMAN: Her neighborhood, Boyle Heights, and the east side of LA often has its stories told by outsiders. And I think for Carmen, that never felt adequate or felt fair or felt like that's who should be telling these stories. And I really loved kind of her goal of giving a voice to those communities and giving space to people from those communities.

DETROW: Before she died, she had begun mentoring young student journalists. And at the top of her X profile, she wrote, student journalists have always held it down. Glad people are realizing how vital their work is to our industry. Journalist Carmen Gonzalez was 24.

⁣Former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters finally got her day in appellate court — and the results were explosive.

A three-judge panel appeared deeply troubled by major legal errors in Peters’ original trial, including:

A felony conviction based on jury instructions that described a misdemeanor

Evidence that Peters was blocked from presenting a full defense

Whether the trial judge relied on uncharged conduct during sentencing

Whether Peters was effectively punished for her protected speech

A shocking nine-year sentence for a 70-year-old non-violent first offender

Judges openly challenged the State’s argument that a person can be convicted of a crime they were never properly charged with.

“I am baffled by the position that we can somehow overlook that…” — Judge Craig Welling

They also grilled prosecutors on why Peters was not allowed to testify about her intent — even though intent is a required element of the charge.

Even Governor Jared Polis has now admitted Peters’ sentence was “harsh.”

Peters’ legal team is requesting:

Reversal of conviction

Or at minimum, resentencing before a different judge

Possible release on bond while the appeal is decided

This case has become a national flashpoint for:
⚖ Due Process
🗳 Election transparency
🇺🇸 Constitutional rights
🧱 Judicial abuse of power

Jesus the bigot turning single moms away because of their race, nationality, or 'ethnic tribe?'

Then Jesus said: What comes from your heart is what makes you unclean.
Now she was a Greek woman of Syrophoenician origin, and she kept asking Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
Right away a woman who had heard about him came and fell at his feet. Her little girl was possessed by an evil spirit
“Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

⁣INGLEWOOD, California—Given a live global platform Saturday night by Netflix, Katt Williams closed out an electric hour of comedy punctuated by multiple audio/visual cues with a call for the United States to pay out reparations for enslaving generations of Black Americans, and citing our eager willingness to fund other nations such as Ukraine right now as proof of concept.

“It is now time for Black people in America to get paid reparations for everything that them and their ancestors have been through in American history,” Williams declared in front of 6,000 in attendance at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, plus upward of millions more watching live on Netflix. “Why now, Katt? Thanks for asking, white friends. I’ll tell you why now. And understand white friends, I don’t speak for all Black people. But I do speak for all n—rs. And you are not supposed to know the difference.”

Williams continued: “The time is now. And understand, white friends. I know you’re thinking, no seriously, Katt, why now? I’ll tell you why. And these are the facts. We just gave $100 billion to the Ukraine. And God bless the Ukrainians. But off the record? We don’t know them n—-rs like that! You could’ve gave that money to Black people. The fuck? We done gave them all that money. The truth is they over there getting their ass whooped over there. You coulda gave that money to the Black people of Los Angeles, and they’d have went over there and whooped their ass in two weeks. Look. It looks like reparations is for Black people. But it’s not. It’s for you, white friend. It’s for you. It’s going to help us, but it’s for you. Sure, every Black person going to wake up with $20 million in the bank. So the fuck what? It’s for you, white friends. You think American been great before? Wait til we got a country full of rich n—rs. This fitting to be the greatest country in the world, bitch!”

The comedian also hoped to persuade more conservative white Americans to support reparations by appealing to their baser instincts.

“White friend, don’t you want to get slavery behind you? You never had a slave in your motherfucking life. Get this past you. You pay them reparations, racism is dead. Get it past you, white friends,” Williams concluded. “Here’s what they won’t tell you, white friends. You pay them reparations, you can say n—r any time you want to, do you hear me?”

Katt Williams: Woke Foke, just the second stand-up special streamed live globally by Netflix after last year’s Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, was one of the centerpiece events of the second-ever Netflix Is a Joke Fest, happening through the first 12 days and nights of May across Los Angeles. Williams had several comedians warm up the audience in the two hours leading up to livestream, and he opened by expressing his gratitude at how far he’d come since his early years. “It was ’99 and the 2000s and I was in this Inglewood at the Hollywood Park Casino for $100 a week, and God brought me 24 Kobe years later, bam! Live. Right here in motherfucking Inglewood. God really is the greatest.”

Part of what drew Netflix to picking Williams for their next live special was his three-hour performance on retired footballer Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, which has racked up more than 68 million views since premiering Jan. 3 on YouTube. The comedian made sure to shout that out early in his hour, too: “I tried to be incog-Negro but thanks to Shannon Sharpe’s loudmouth ass, the gig is up. Everybody knows I’ll tell. But I don’t do no snitching! Y’all know my job. In my spare time I infiltrate the Illuminati. Look for their secrets. Run back. Tell y’all. And they’d kill me if they could, but I’m too fast, and the Lord keep blessing me.”

Although Williams did name-check many entertainers and politicians in the hour—among them, Nick Cannon, Robert De Niro, Jamie Foxx, Da Brat, Trick Daddy, Tory Lanez, Lizzo, Sharon Osbourne, P. Diddy, Wayne Brady, Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis—none of it rose to quite the same salacious level as the fires he stoked in January.

For example, lampooning the FBI’s non-investigation into a bag of cocaine found inside the White House, Williams showed a giant photo of a baggie labeled “Hunter’s Blow” to suggest the true culprit, then added: “Hunter on crack. Joe asleep. The only person really working at the White house behind the scenes is Joe Biden’s German Shepherd named Commander.” He then showed a photo of the president with his pooch, while joking about how many Secret Service agents Commander Biden had bitten.

Rolling Stone deleted their negative Acolyte review
Why @RollingStone ?

This is what the article initially said, for your records:
Part 1: The Jedi barely appear in the original Star Wars trilogy. Obi-Wan and Yoda are both hermits hiding from their own failures in distant corners of the galaxy, and both die after teaching Luke Skywalker a bit about the Force. Luke himself never technically completes his training, though he gets close enough to be considered a Jedi master in later films. So the Jedi exist more as a exciting symbol in those early films, as well as a mystery: How could a group of people so wise and powerful have just ceased to exist?

The solution to that mystery unfortunately robbed the Jedi of most of the mystique that Obi-Wan and Yoda gave them in the early movies. It turns out the Jedi got wiped out because they were soft, self-congratulatory, and far too hung up on rules that did more harm than good. If Mace Windu had just told young Anakin that he was allowed to go kiss Padme, for Pete’s sake, the Empire never would have been created. The Clone Wars and Rebels cartoons did a bit better by the Jedi, but on the whole, they are, like Boba Fett(*), a George Lucas creation where the more they get to do, the less thrilling they become.

(*) A.K.A. the guy who turned out to be so boring, his own show had to morph into a Mandalorian bonus season partway through.

The newest Disney+ Star Wars series, The Acolyte, at least attempts to openly confront the reality that the Jedi are smug, complacent, and kind of terrible. But the execution of that idea is spotty throughout the four episodes given to critics. And the decision to set it a century before the rise of the Empire seems to defeat the purpose of the whole thing, because the Jedi of The Phantom Menace have learned exactly zero lessons.

The Acolyte was created by writer-director Leslye Headland, who was one of the co-creators of Netflix’s great sci-fi comedy Russian Doll(*). Headland has built her whole story around the institutional failings of the Jedi. A young woman named Mae (Amandla Stenberg) is seeking revenge on a quartet of Jedi masters — the wise Sol (Lee Jung-jae), the stoic Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss), Wookiee master Kelnacca (Joonas Suotamo), and young Torbin (Dean-Charles Chapman) — for a family tragedy. And the more we learn about the history, the clearer it becomes that Jedi law — and questions of who is and isn’t allowed to study the Force — played an unfortunately huge role. Meanwhile, Mae’s twin sister Osha (Stenberg again) is working as a mechanic after washing out of Jedi training, and she has to again speak with her former teacher, Sol.

(*) Two of that show’s actors play Jedi here. Rebecca Henderson is Vernestra, a green-skinned, high-ranking member of the order. Charlie Barnett is Yord, a Jedi nerd with an unfortunate rooster haircut.

Lee Jung-jae, the Emmy-winning star of Squid Game, isn’t fluent in English, and as a result his line readings can be halting at times. But he otherwise brings a necessary amount of gravitas, warmth, and regret as Sol. His relationship with Osha is easily the best and most fully-realized aspect of The Acolyte. Stenberg, Headland, and their collaborators regrettably struggle to differentiate Osha and Mae from one another, even when they’re wearing different clothes and pursuing different agendas. (It’s even worse in the third episode, a listless flashback where the two girls, played by Leah and Lauren Brady, are styled identically.)

Most of the pieces are uneven at best, if not simply underwhelming. Carrie-Anne Moss is used well in an opening action set piece (once again getting to work with bullet-time effects, 25 years after the first Matrix) but is otherwise wasted, and the later fight scenes aren’t as dynamic. There are some amusing bits of business regarding interpersonal dynamics among the Jedi — Yord is so disrespected that even Sol’s padawan, Jecki (Dafne Keen, from Logan and His Dark Materials), feels comfortable acting superior to him — but not a lot.

September 11th - Cover For A COUP D'ETAT?
Well...despite the fact that I pontificate on a number of subjects, the main focus of this page is outlining the changes to our society, our environment and our way of life since the coming and going of the storied event in question. Understand this, dear readers: EVERYTHING HAS A REASON. I was speaking to some buds of mine over the weekend and we were discussing the idea of COINCIDENCES.

There really is no such thing.

Everything that happens, happens because some inducement was made; whether naturally, or by dint of some other action, things occur because they were induced to occur.

So...in reading this piece from OP-ED News, 9/11: Cover-up for a Coup D'Etat, I wish to caution those who see the erosion of many of our civil liberties as a COINCIDENCE, to pull your heads out of the sandbox they're playing in and join the rest of us thinking, breathing, LIVING human beings and STAND UP FOR THE RIGHTS GUARANTEED BY OUR FOREFATHERS.

Let's bring up an interesting point here, now that people are all aghast from Shillary's comments on Friday...I'd really like some discussion of this:

Black people were being hosed down like dirty sidewalks for years...and then, all of a sudden, someone shoots Martin Luther King, Jr., and his "killer" is given a 99-year sentence.

Can I be the ONLY INDIVIDUAL who finds this to be...WEIRD?!?

"Niggers" were hanging like pinatas all over the South...and no one really batted an eye...so what made this particular "nigger" so different?

I'm using that vulgarity to illustrate my earlier point: do you think that it was a COINCIDENCE that in the years of outrage against Black men, this one was actually afforded some modicum of "justice"? Why did he rate?

This was an obfuscation - in 1999, it was proven that a REAL CONSPIRACY existed in the murder of MLK, so his murder just HAPPENED to correspond with the first-ever (to my knowledge - please update me, if you've any info) conviction of a non-Black individual in the murder of a Black man.

I hope you get my point.

Now...back to Shillary...I was listening to Bill O'Reilly today, and amazingly, he was holding Shillary's feet to the fire over her commentary; in fact, he took it a step further and played a news clip I've not heard elsewhere. He had played a clip from Ray Larson, Grand Dragon of the KKK, where he practically guarantees that a "Southerner" will assassinate Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, should he gain the nomination.

Considering how there was a "security lapse" during one of his campaign rallies, where agents were instructed to "stop their search for guns" should be cause for concern...

...or do you think that was a COINCIDENCE?

I'm sure it was a COINCIDENCE that Deborah Jeane Palfrey "committed suicide" when she had everything to live for, and not once had exhibited any such ideas about ending her life prematurely...

https://www.dcdave.com/article5/090410.htm

By the way...I sent a note to Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy:

Good evening, Senator Kennedy - I am pulling for you to recover. In doing so, I wish to caution you not to opt for the chemo/radiation treatment, as it will only be a VERY short-term solution, and in the long run, will affect your body in unforeseen ways. You should instead opt for an alternative, proven treatment - please read the information at the link below:

Pot Shrinks Tumors; Government Knew in '74

I was sickened at what happened to your family, and even more incensed by the "comment" by Presidential Candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. Unfortunately, I do NOT believe that they were just an "unfortunate set of words"; rather, she is calling for the idiots that inhabit our great country to openly assassinate a candidate for President, simply because she was not "given" the nomination.

She doesn't deserve it.

The mere fact that her campaign is $30 MILLION DOLLARS in the hole is irrefutable proof that she is not fit to manage the finances of our great nation...and I'm sure that you agree.

Once again, I hope that you opt for the solution that actually works, and will have you back in the Senate doing what you do best: enacting the will of the People.

My wishes are with you.
