These are the first messenger RNA vaccines to be produced and tested in large-scale phase III human trials. Why don't we get reacquainted with DCDave's Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Strong, credible allegations of high-level criminal activity can bring down a government. When the government lacks an effective, fact-based defense, other techniques must be employed. The success of these techniques depends heavily upon a cooperative, compliant press and a mere token opposition party.

Dummy up. If it's not reported, if it's not news, it didn't happen.

Wax indignant. This is also known as the "How dare you?" gambit.

Characterize the charges as "rumors" or, better yet, "wild rumors." If, in spite of the news blackout, the public is still able to learn about the suspicious facts, it can only be through "rumors." (If they tend to believe the "rumors" it must be because they are simply "paranoid" or "hysterical.")

Knock down straw men. Deal only with the weakest aspects of the weakest charges. Even better, create your own straw men. Make up wild rumors (or plant false stories) and give them lead play when you appear to debunk all the charges, real and fanciful alike.

Call the skeptics names like "conspiracy theorist," "nutcase," "ranter," "kook," "crackpot," and, of course, "rumor monger." Be sure, too, to use heavily loaded verbs and adjectives when characterizing their charges and defending the "more reasonable" government and its defenders. You must then carefully avoid fair and open debate with any of the people you have thus maligned. For insurance, set up your own "skeptics" to shoot down.

Impugn motives. Attempt to marginalize the critics by suggesting strongly that they are not really interested in the truth but are simply pursuing a partisan political agenda or are out to make money (compared to over-compensated adherents to the government line who, presumably, are not).

Invoke authority. Here the controlled press and the sham opposition can be very useful.

Dismiss the charges as "old news."

Come half-clean. This is also known as "confession and avoidance" or "taking the LIMITED HANGOUT route." This way, you create the impression of candor and honesty while you admit only to relatively harmless, less-than-criminal "mistakes." This stratagem often requires the embrace of a fall-back position quite different from the one originally taken. With effective damage control, the fall-back position need only be peddled by stooge skeptics to carefully limited markets.

Characterize the crimes as impossibly complex and the truth as ultimately unknowable.

Reason backward, using the deductive method with a vengeance. With thoroughly rigorous deduction, troublesome evidence is irrelevant. E.g. We have a completely free press. If evidence exists that the Vince Foster "suicide" note was forged, they would have reported it. They haven't reported it so there is no such evidence. Another variation on this theme involves the likelihood of a conspiracy leaker and a press who would report the leak.

Require the skeptics to solve the crime completely. E.g. If Foster was murdered, who did it and why?

Change the subject. This technique includes creating and/or publicizing distractions.

Lightly report incriminating facts, and then make nothing of them. This is sometimes referred to as "bump and run" reporting.

Baldly and brazenly lie. A favorite way of doing this is to attribute the "facts" furnished the public to a plausible-sounding, but anonymous, source.

Expanding further on numbers 4 and 5, have your own stooges "expose" scandals and champion popular causes. Their job is to pre-empt real opponents and to play 99-yard football. A variation is to pay rich people for the job who will pretend to spend their own money.

⁣Flood the Internet with agents. This is the answer to the question, "What could possibly motivate a person to spend hour upon hour on Internet news groups defending the government and/or the press and harassing genuine critics?" Don t the authorities have defenders enough in all the newspapers, magazines, radio, and television? One would think refusing to print critical letters and screening out serious callers or dumping them from radio talk shows would be control enough, but, obviously, it is not.

Someone needs to tell Amanda Bynes that reality isn’t a game of Mario Kart! The 26-year-old has been in more hit and runs in the last year than Ichiro Suzuki!
The latest bash and dash allegedly occurred Saturday on Ventura Blvd. in the San Fernando Valley where Kisa (last name witheld) claims the actress/singer/demolition derby prodigy Bynes rear ended her.
Kisa (last name witheld) tells TMZ she was driving her Toyota Corolla on Ventura Blvd. in the San Fernando Valley when she was struck by a woman in a black BMW. Kisa tells TMZ she didn’t recognize the woman at first — because she “looked like a hot mess” — but once they began talking, she realized it was Amanda Bynes.
Kisa says she got out her insurance card to exchange information, but says Bynes “seemed nervous about that.” She says Bynes told her the damage to the Corolla didn’t look that bad and proceeded to push her bumper back into place (that didn’t work, see pic on TMZ).
Kisa says Bynes insisted they didn’t need to exchange information, although Kisa says there was substantial damage to Bynes car. Despite Kisa’s insistence on a 411 swap, Bynes took off, at which point Kisa called police who filed a hit and run report.
Amanda Bynes irked a police officer in March when she drove off as he was writing her a citation for talking on her cell phone while driving, then was allegedly involved in two different hit and run accidents on May 5 and May 27, after being arrested for DUI in between on April 6. Bynes later pleaded not guilty after Barak Obama did not respond to her Twitter request for assistance in the case.

The landmasses have been uncovered frozen nearly half a mile beneath the surface of the frozen tundra.

It is believed the huge formations are tunnels and ridges frozen beneath the ice.
These hives are believed to be natural formations which help give stability to the ice above.
A team from the Université libre de Bruxelle in Belgium said the structures were evidence of “water conduits and sediment ridges below the Antarctic ice sheet”.
The gigantic formations “carve deep incisions at the bottom of the ice”.
Scientists believe understanding these structures will help them predict the impact climate change will have on the impact.
But the experts will likely not silence conspiracy theorists who claim the icy mass hides ruins of ancient civilisations.
Some scholars claim a lost city could be buried beneath the Antarctica based a 500-year-old map drawn by an Ottoman admiral.

⁣New Mexico officials are urging an investigation into claims of bodies buried at Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch, following the release of documents related to the convicted sex offender's crimes.

Allegations of bodies buried near Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch in Santa Fe County have emerged from millions of pages of documents related to the convicted sex offender's crimes, prompting calls for an investigation from New Mexico officials.

"I'm gonna keep asking questions and keep poking around until I get an answer," New Mexico's Public Lands Commissioner Stephanie Garcia Richard told KOAT on Tuesday.

These allegations originated from an anonymous email sent in 2019 to local radio host Eddy Aragon. The email claimed to be from a former staffer at Zorro Ranch, stating, "Did you know somewhere in the hills outside of the Zorro, two foreign girls were buried on orders of Jeffrey and Madam G? Both died by strangulation during rough, fetish sex."

Aragon said he was startled upon receiving the email, which also claimed the sender had seven sex videos of Epstein, including some with minors.

The email described scenes of rape, threesomes and a suicide attempt confession.

The anonymous sender requested one Bitcoin, valued at approximately $8,000 at the time, in exchange for the videos but never sent the footage. Aragon forwarded the email to the FBI but has not heard back.

Fast forward six years, the Department of Justice released Aragon's email as part of the Epstein files in 2026.

As a result, Garcia Richard sent a letter to the attorney general and U.S. attorney's office, asking them to "thoroughly investigate this disturbing allegation" regarding the referenced burials.

"We need to get to the bottom of really what happened in New Mexico," Garcia Richard said. She was horrified to learn in 2019 that the state was still leasing lands around Zorro Ranch to Epstein's company and canceled the leases a month after Epstein killed himself in prison. The land around the mansion totals around 1,200 acres and hasn't been leased out since.

"We're thinking to possibly turn it into a memorial to honor the victims," Garcia Richard said. "Or as some kind of wildlife sanctuary perhaps, so that's what we're thinking for that land."

Attorney General Raul Torrez's office responded to Garcia Richard with a letter stating, "As we understand it, the allegations appear to be unsubstantiated." The office plans to work to obtain the original files and review them to determine whether any further action is warranted. "Once such information is obtained, our office will review it to determine whether any further action is warranted and, if so, the appropriate next steps," the letter says.

"To my knowledge, no investigation has taken place thus far. It doesn't sound like anything is going to be taking place very soon," Garcia Richard said.

Aragon wants lawmakers to immediately seize Zorro Ranch. Garcia Richard is ready to offer all state land for investigation but cannot do anything about the current house, as it is privately owned.

KOAT has reached out to the FBI regarding the email and why the tip wasn't investigated. Officials said: "We have no comment at this time."
