A kids' TV show featuring completely nude adults answering questions about the human body has sparked fury in Holland.

An advert for the programme called 'Simply Naked', which is set to be televised by the public broadcaster NOS, showed a group of adults disrobing in front of an audience of children.

The boys and girls, aged between 10 and 12, were invited to ask questions on subjects such as how confident the adults felt in their own bodies.

The series' developers say it has been 'very carefully produced,' is intended to educate children about the human body and that there are no questions about sex.

But critics have branded it 'disgusting,' with the leader of the right-wing FvD party Thierry Baudet saying it 'comes close to promoting paedophilia'.

Left-wing MP Tunahan Kuzu called the programme 'ridiculous' and told his Twitter followers to write to the national broadcaster to complain.

The conservative SGP party has also asked questions in parliament over why the programme is going ahead.

It comes after a preview of the series aired which showed the varying reactions of the children and some of the questions which they put to the adults.

One of the children said: 'This is not a show I need to see.'

While another told the broadcaster: 'It's good to know that other people worry about the same things too.'

TV presenter Edson da Graça told NOS: 'The aim is to teach children that each and every body is different and that not all bodies are perfect.'

Elsbeth Reitzema from the Rutgers sexual health foundation, which collaborated with NOS to produce the series, said that the steady stream of semi-pornographic images which children see everyday on television and online gave them a distorted view of the human body.

'Those who see ordinary naked bodies more often have a more positive body image,' she said.

The public broadcaster said in a statement: 'The children knew exactly what was going to happen and they could say how they felt during the programme at any time. ... We had expected a bit of a ruckus. Not everyone will think this is for children and that's OK. It's up to the parents to decide if their children can watch.'

The series is based on the Danish kids' TV show Ultra smider tøjet (Ultra strips down), which is now into its second series.

It has been popular in Denmark, although not without criticism, where many believe that children should be exposed to the realities of life - so-called 'Nordic parenting'.

'We recognise the significance of a bruise,' Sofie Münster, a parenting expert told the New York Times in October. 'Danish parenting generally favours exposing children rather than shielding them.'

A particularly famous example is how children were given front row seats to observe as a giraffe was euthanized, dissected and then fed to lions at Copenhagen Zoo in 2014.

'This is how we educate our children,' Münster said. 'We show them reality as it is.'

On the other hand, the conservative Danish People's Party has argued against the show.

Party chairman Peter Skaarup said in September that it is 'completely wrong and far too extreme.'

He added: 'Shouldn't we just let children be children?

'It corrupts our children, who at that age already have many things running around in their heads. There is no need for these things on top.'

A Santa Barbara County judge accused of pulling a gun during a drunken confrontation with her domestic partner had started drinking heavily because of growing career and personal problems, her former lover testified Wednesday.
Deidra Dykeman, a project manager for Raytheon, struggled visibly to constrain her emotions as she recounted a relationship with Superior Court Judge Diana R. Hall.
“I was in love, I fell in love,” Dykeman, 39, said of her feelings for Hall after they first met in 1988.

But their relationship began to deteriorate after they bought a house together in the Santa Ynez Valley, Dykeman said. An early turning point, she said, was Hall’s anger over failure to win some law enforcement endorsements in a primary election last year.

Hall, 52, suffers from Crohn’s disease, a chronic bowel disorder, and did not start drinking until after the election, Dykeman said.

“She was probably drinking a bottle of wine a night,” she said.

Hall’s anger finally exploded Dec. 21 when an argument turned into alleged threats of violence triggered by a 911 call by Dykeman to the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department.

“I had never seen her so angry before in my life,” Dykeman told Assistant Dist. Atty. Kimberly Smith.

Though defense lawyer Jack Earley has portrayed Dykeman as a vengeful liar, angry at being spurned by Hall, Dykeman said Wednesday she was the one seeking to end the relationship.

“I told her the weekend before that we should think of breaking up because of the drinking,” Dykeman said.

Hall is charged with felony counts of dissuading a witness by force with a firearm and damaging a telephone to block a 911 call. She also faces misdemeanor charges of exhibiting a gun, domestic battery, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content more than .08. Her blood alcohol level was .18.

Hall won the 2002 election with 85% of the vote. She was presiding criminal judge in Lompoc. Since her arrest, she has been suspended with pay.

Earlier, Tammy Gilbert, a sheriff’s communications dispatcher, recounted the 911 calls from Dykeman, who initially called but then hung up. Gilbert then called her back. At that time, Dykeman said she thought the dispute had “been resolved.”

About a minute later, however, she called back asking for help.

“My domestic partner is going after me.... She’s pulling my hair, she’s hitting me, she’s swearing at me. She’s throwing the phone, telling me to get out of the house.”

When asked if Hall was in possession of a gun, Dykeman first said that Hall was unarmed. Soon after, however, she told the dispatcher, “She’s got the gun. I’m sorry. She’s got the gun. Oh god, she’s got a gun. I’m really scared now.”

Sheriff’s deputies were already headed to the house when Dykeman announced that Hall had driven away in a gold Acura. Spotting the car, they pulled her over at gunpoint and handcuffed her.

Senior Deputy Mark Ream, one of six witnesses testifying Wednesday, said he interviewed Dykeman for about half an hour after arriving at the house with Deputy Dominique Gilbert.

“She was upset, “ Ream said. “It was clear to me that something had occurred.”

Ream said Dykeman told him that Hall deliberately broke her cordless phone into three pieces.

Under cross examination, Ream told Earley that Dykeman at one point said she had pushed Hall away from her.

Jon Minadeo II, the founder of the hate group Goyim Defense League, has been locked up in jail as his favorite social network for berating kids got shut down

THE PAST MONTH hasn’t given Jon Minadeo II much to be thankful for. But detractors of the man who bills himself as “AMERICAS #1 ANTI SEMITE” have certainly been celebrating a No-Nazi November.
Minadeo, 40, runs an antisemitic hate group called the Goyim Defense League — its name and acronym serving as ugly sendups of the Anti-Defamation League, or ADL. After a headline-making summer, Minadeo has had run of bad luck. The meme-savvy neo-Nazi has spent the past month in jail on a littering charge. While he’s been in the clink, his favorite social media tool for harassing young people with hate speech, Omegle, has been shut down. To top it off, on Nov. 29, Minadeo faces a new trial, one that could see him locked up for as long as a year.
Minadeo has three main strategies for spreading hate. The first is by paper: Distributing antisemitic fliers that promote perverse lies, including that Jews should be blamed for everything from the “covid agenda” and “Disney child grooming” to “Trump’s campaign funding” and “abortion and hookup culture.” The second is digital: Livestreaming on his own network, GoyimTV, where Minadeo broadcasts as a character called “Handsome Truth.” The third is by marching: In September, Minadeo and his loyalists joined forces with a hardcore neo-Nazi group called Blood Tribe, taking over an Orlando-area freeway overpass. The mob of hate demonstrators performed Hitler salutes and shouted threats like “Jews get the rope!”
The first strategy has gotten Minadeo in significant legal trouble. At the beginning of November, Minadeo was found guilty by a jury in Florida of “attempted littering” related to distributing his antisemitic hate flyers in West Palm Beach this past March. According to the warrant for his arrest, Minadeo was throwing the fliers from the back of a U-Haul “onto the public street, in the swale, and into residents’ yards.” The cop on the scene recovered only a few fliers from the street, so Minaeo was charged with “attempted littering” based on the stockpile still in the U-Haul, described in court as “over 700 bags with white paper and brown pellets, weighing at 47.5 pounds.”
In court, Minadeo made the argument that his foul flyers were protected free speech. “Mr. Minadeo was delivering flyers with a political message … packaged … in a manner that keeps its contents sealed and prevents that package from flying away,” his attorney wrote. “At no point did Mr. Minadeo distribute garbage or trash … Despite anyone’s opinion as to what was on the flyers, these flyers are political and religious in nature.”
The state of Florida countered with a motion that insisted the paper in baggies was trash — in both a literal and figurative sense: “Paper is clearly defined as what can constitute litter in the statute,” the state attorney argued. “Additionally, the paper is not political or religious in nature, the paper contains unsubstantiated claims attacking a specific religion and are correctly classified as trash having no true political essence.”
Ultimately, Minadeo’s First Amendment hail mary didn’t convince the judge. The trial went forward and Minadeo was convicted on the misdemeanor — and sentenced to jail, beginning Nov. 1.
Minadeo’s experience — as documented on his Gab account by a guest poster named “Ned,” who has been coordinating with the hate leader — has been miserable. Minadeo spent his first week-plus in quarantine. “He’s in 1 cell with 5 guys and 1 toilet,” Ned reported. Nonetheless, Ned added, Minadeo had spent his time “red pilling everyone he can” about the “filthy” targets of his hate.
Before long, odd handwritten legal filings began showing up in the court record. On Nov. 17, someone filed an “Extraordinary Emergency” appeal arguing that “Jon is jailed for throwing political newspapers.” The signature line of the filing is not a lawyer’s, however. It reads instead: “Held Hostage.” A similar filing claiming “indigent status” for Minadeo is also signed “Held Hostage.” Minadeo’s lawyer, Sarah Wright, could not explain the documents, telling Rolling Stone: “I have no idea what those are. I certainly did not file anything like that.”

The noble Lord opposite, if he will allow me to say so, I think unduly stressed some of the supposed objections to the pasteurization of milk, one of them being taste, another being its effect upon nutritive value, and the third being the removal of vitamins. Whatever may have been said in days gone by with regard to taste, I do not think any reasonable person nowadays, with any knowledge of the facts, would suggest that properly pasteurized milk is either nasty, metallic, or otherwise unattractive to drink, if the pasteurization takes place as it ought to take place, between 135 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit for a matter of half an hour, with a subsequent cooling for at least five minutes to below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. There should be no difference in the flavour of the milk as a result of the pasteurizing process. The same may be said with regard to the effect upon nutritive value. After all, there are several highly civilized countries in the world where the bulk of the milk is pasteurized, and has been pasteurized for many years past, and it has never been suggested—at least I have never heard it suggested seriously—that the process has appreciably reduced its nutritive value.

With regard to the removal of vitamins, there is only- one vitamin, which is perhaps all too scarce in milk, which can ill be spared, and is by neglect in the treatment of milk very often entirely removed. That is vitamin C. I do not know if your Lordships are aware of this fact, that, if you keep a jug of milk in the sunshine for half an hour, the whole of the vitamin C in the milk disappears. It is therefore most desirable, if you want to retain that vitamin, which is particularly valuable to infants and young children, that milk should not be exposed to sunlight after it has been drawn from the cow.

I want to say quite frankly that I welcome, indeed I am prepared to endorse, this Motion of the noble Lord opposite in favour of pasteurization, using his words, "as far as is practicable," and so long as he does not act as a deterrent to 658securing bovine health improvement. The main advantage of improving the health of our dairy cattle is to increase the yield. That is an even greater advantage than improving the quality of the milk. We have to increase the yield of milk, which is materially reduced in this country today by bovine disease, by tuberculosis, by mastitis in particular and by contagious abortion. It is perfectly true to say that it has frightened a good many people, and we cannot deny it, that 40 per cent. of the whole of our cattle in this country react to the tuberculin test. But we have to bear in mind at the same time, that only one half per cent. of our dairy cattle yield tubercular milk, and, if we were to take the drastic steps in the matter of slaughter which are taken in the United States, where there is something less than one half per cent. of the cattle affected with tuberculosis, of course the availability of milk in this country would be reduced. Milk would not be so available in this country and, as a result, there would be an adverse effect on the health of the population, and especially that of the children.

I am also uttering this warning because there is a great deal of popular misconception on the danger to human health of milk which contains bovine tubercular germs. It is my experience from time to time to receive drafts of articles and books on various agricultural subjects with the request that I shall provide a foreword or preface. I received one only a week ago, and the proposed title of the book was, Your Enemy the Cow. That book, so far as I was able to read it, contained a good deal of information, although rather exaggerated, similar to that which the noble Lord, Lord Rothschild, has submitted to your Lordships to-day. But to my mind (and I told the author quite candidly what I thought, the whole book is damned by its title. In a country like this, where the milk yield of our cattle is something less than the miserable amount of 500 gallons during a lactation period—500 gallons a year—as against 750 to 800 gallons in countries like Denmark, Finland, Holland and others; and remembering that the actual consumption of milk a day in this country is an average of one half-pint, whereas in most civilized European countries it is at least 5o per cent. more, and in many countries double, for any one with any knowledge...
