⁣In the past few months, Cassidy Armstrong has been forced to cope with two disturbing diagnoses. First, doctors said she was dying of a rare cancer.
Then, she found out the mass in her liver was actually a rare parasite from coyote or dog feces.
“[Doctors] said, ‘We have some good news for you. We don’t think this is cancer. We think this is a parasite,'” Armstrong told Global News.
“I was like, ‘This is good?’ They’re like, ‘Yes, it’s very good. It’s much better.'”
In November of 2019, the 36-year-old started having severe pain near her ribs and noticed she was losing weight. An MRI revealed a mass the size of a grapefruit in her liver. She was diagnosed with a rare, terminal liver cancer.
“I was basically getting ready to just die,” said Armstrong. “It didn’t look good. It was pretty sad and scary.”
Surgeons removed 65 per cent of her liver, her entire gallbladder and some nodules from her lungs. Then a biopsy revealed the mass was actually a large cyst created by the tapeworm Echinococcus multilocularis.
“This (parasite) is a totally new thing… this didn’t used to be here,” said Dr. Stan Houston, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Alberta.
Since 2013, Alberta has confirmed 15 cases of the parasite in patients; 13 were dog owners.
Houston explains the parasite likely came from Europe and is becoming more common in Alberta coyotes. The tapeworm eggs are passed in the feces, which rodents eat.
A dog can become infected by eating the feces or an infected rodent. Humans can become infected if they touch the infected dog’s feces and then touch their face or food.
Human cases have also been confirmed in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec.
“Coyotes are no longer wild creatures of the forest and the prairies. They are urban animals,” said Houston.
He reminds everyone to wash their hands after touching a dog, and to clean fruits and vegetables that may come from a contaminated garden.

A nonprofit organization is tackling growing attacks on the Jewish community in a splashy way – by installing bright pink billboards across the country that denounce antisemitism.

The New Jersey-based organization, JewBelong, launched the #endjewhate campaign last June with billboards in New York, Boston, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and now, Miami, after flyers blaming Jews for Covid-19 were found distributed in two South Florida cities last month.

With messages like “I promise to love being Jewish 10x more than anyone hates me for it," “3,500 years of antisemitism doesn’t make it right," and “Does your church need armed guards? ‘Cause our synagogue does,” the organization hopes to spread awareness of antisemitism around the country.

Archie Gottesman and Stacy Stuart worked in branding and marketing for over 20 years before co-founding JewBelong. Now the self-proclaimed ‘Co-Chief-Rebrander-of-Judaism’ and ‘Chief Branding Badass’ are taking notes from their previous experience designing witty billboards to draw attention to antisemitism.

JewBelong started with the intention to make Judaism more approachable to who the organization refers to as “Disengaged Jews”—a group of Jews who may not feel connected to their Jewish-ness for one reason or another—with relatable affirming messages like, “We don’t care which half of you is Jewish” and “So you eat bacon. God has other things to worry about.”

Stuart told ABC News that a rise in antisemitism following the 2021 Israel-Palestine crisis last May was a turning point.

“You know, there was so much hatred on social media and in the street and we just felt like it was necessary to do something, not just because of our Judaism and our passion for the religion, but because we felt like the Disengaged Jews are our target market. They already have hurdles to their Judaism,” she said.“And now you throw antisemitism into it and we were afraid we were really going to lose a large chunk of them.”

Stuart says they wanted JewBelong to be “not just a voice talking to the community, but talking to the world at large.”

“Jews belong in the conversation. Hate is painful. Hate is scary. It's painful. It doesn't allow us to become who we are,” said Gottesman. “It just makes us feel less than like all of those terrible things about marginalized groups, which again, this country is trying to work on and should be working on.”

According to a 2020 Pew Research Center report, there are 5.8 million Jewish adults in the United States, accounting for 2.4% of the United States’ adult population.

“One of the reasons that JewBelong is doing the campaign is not everybody realizes this, Jews are only 2% of the population in the United States,” said Gottesman. “We're so tiny that it's like, we need some help in terms of being able to get the message out there.”

According to the NYPD Hate Crimes Dashboard, there were 198 confirmed hate crime incidents against Jewish people in 2021, up from a still-alarming 121 incidents in 2020. The Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism recorded 2,024 antisemitic incidents in their 2020 annual audit, making it the third-highest year on record since 1979.

Incidents like the recent hostage situation at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas, have prompted the Department of Homeland Security to address the “continuing threat of violence based upon racial or religious motivations, as well as threats against faith-based organizations.”

British national Malik Faisal Akram took a rabbi and other congregants at the Texas synagogue hostage on Jan. 15 for several hours before he was killed by police, authorities said. The incident prompted American Jewish organizations to offer solidarity and calls to action across the country.

Israeli quadcopters are employing a "bizarre" new tactic of playing audio recordings of crying infants and women in order to lure Palestinians to locations where they can be targeted.

On Sunday and Monday night, residents of the northern parts of Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp woke up to the sounds of babies crying and women calling out for help.

When they went outside to locate the source of the cries and provide aid, Israeli quadcopters reportedly opened fire directly at them.

Samira Abu al-Leil, a resident of the refugee camp, told Middle East Eye that she heard Israeli quadcopters opening fire during and shortly after playing the recorded sounds, which lasted for several minutes and recurred multiple times on Monday night.

"I heard a woman crying and screaming for help, saying, ‘Help me, my son was martyred’. The sounds were coming from the street and they were bizarre," the 49-year-old said.

“Some men rushed out to the rescue, only to be shot by the quadcopters that kept roaming all night long."

According to eyewitnesses, at least seven to 10 people were injured by the quadcopter fire overnight.

Residents were unable to help the victims, as the "quadcopters were firing at anything that moved". However, an ambulance managed to reach the area and transport them to hospital.

"At night, the streets are usually empty and men are inside their homes," Leil added. "When the quadcopters open fire, they only hit the roofs and streets, they don’t find any people to shoot. So they played these sounds because they know the nature of our society; they know that men were going to try to provide help. They wanted them to go out so that they could shoot them," she said.

"Yesterday and the night before, quadcopter bullets hit our roof, door and the street in front of our home. But yesterday morning, they fired some kind of explosive bombs with shrapnel that spreads everywhere on our neighbourhood, leaving many residents injured."

Quadcopter attacks increasing

Quadcopters are remote-controlled drones that have been used extensively against Palestinian fighters and civilians in the Gaza Strip since 7 October.

This technology is gradually replacing ground troops, aiding in target identification, individual targeting, and securing areas where Israeli soldiers are stationed.


⁣Additionally, quadcopters can scout forward positions, target individuals within residences, and disperse crowds in public spaces.
A significant event involving the use of quadcopters occurred on 11 January when a large crowd waiting for food on al-Rasheed Street, near the Gaza City coastline, came under fire from the Israeli military. Numerous witnesses recounted quadcopters firing upon hundreds of individuals awaiting the arrival of aid trucks.
Muhammed Abu Youssef, 19, told MEE that at around 2am on Monday he heard the cries of babies. However, since people were posting on social media to raise awareness of the source of these sounds, he chose not to venture outside.

“There were different sounds coming from the quadcopters. They were making noises; some recordings were comprehensible and some were not. They lasted for around 30 to 60 minutes, then the quadcopters started opening fire and firing bombs in the neighbourhood,” he said.
“We did not go out, because we learned that these were only recordings played by the quadcopters to lure us to go out.”
A video recorded by a resident of Nuseirat refugee camp, and circulating on social media, showcased sounds of crying infants, while the resident explained that these were pre-recorded sounds played by Israeli quadcopters.
"Over the past three days, there have been at least 12 injuries due to quadcopter fire. This morning alone, we rescued six people who were wounded in the neighbourhood. The injuries were serious: some were shot directly in the head.”
According to the residents, the audio recordings also included songs in both Hebrew and Arabic, including children’s songs, sounds of clashes and moving tanks, voices of Palestinian armed men, and voices of local roaming vendors of cleaning products familiar to residents of Gaza.
For over a week, the Israeli army has been carrying out an intense military attack on the northwestern part of Nuseirat, targeting individuals, homes and neighbourhoods with artillery, aerial and naval shelling, as well as quadcopter gunfire.

With the global awakening of what really happened on 9/11 surging ahead at full steam, many people are now aware of facts such as prior government knowledge of the attacks, the mysterious collapse of WTC 7, all of the military and terror drills going on at the same time of the attacks, and the possibility that WTC 1, 2 and 7 were brought down by controlled demolition, and not by fire.

What is not known by the majority of these people, but is as equally important as WTC 7 is the story of Urban Moving Systems. It is no surprise that the hidden history of Urban Moving Systems remains unknown to of the majority of the American population, and even within the 9/11 truth community, since it's story was never included in the official 9/11 Commission Report, and has been absent from all of the popular 9/11 "truth movies."

So what exactly was Urban Moving Systems and how does it tie into 9/11?

"Dominick Suter, owner of the company Urban Moving Systems, flees the country to Israel. The FBI later tells ABC News, “Urban Moving may have been providing cover for an Israeli intelligence operation.” Suter has been tied to the five Israeli agents caught filming the WTC attack. The FBI had questioned Suter around September 12, removing boxes of documents and a dozen computer hard drives. However, when the FBI returns a few days later, he is gone." So according to the FBI, an Israeli intelligence gathering operation was set up in Weehawken, NJ posing as a fake moving company, whose employees failed polygraph tests, whose owner was questioned but then mysteriously flees the US. And why did our corrupt media and elected officials conceal this fact from the American people via the 9/11 whitewash commission?!? Maybe it was because this inconvenient fact would have made it hard for the Bush Administration to pin the horrific terrorist attacks on suicidal Muslim highjackers? What do you think?

Well, it is time for the story of Urban Moving Systems to become as commonly known as WTC7 and controlled demolitions to the American people. On Tuesday, June 17, 2008 I was doing a bit of random 9/11 research and I came across a website called FedSpending.org, after I googled 'urban moving systems'.

FedSpending.org is a project of OMB Watch, a Washington based, non-profit citizen's watchdog group that is intended to promote government accountability and citizen participation. All I can say is that this website has delivered, and I was pleased to have come across this piece of internet gold with relatively little digging:

As you can see based on the government data that was released on August 28, 2007, Urban Moving Systems was awarded federal funding in the amount of $498,750 and non-federal funding in the amount of $166,250 for a total of $665,000 and the payout date was June 22, 2001. So in other words, our government, whether knowingly or unknowingly funded an Israeli intelligence gathering operation tied to an FBI investigation, with American taxpayer's dollars!

But wait, it gets even nastier. Urban Moving Systems was also a moving scam operation as well. In December of 2001, the State of New Jersey obtained a court order giving inspectors from Consumer Affairs access to the facility allowing all citizens who had goods stored at Urban Moving Systems' Weehawken warehouse access to retrieve their belongings.

The complaint also alleges that Suter violated the Mover's Act by, among other things, failing to provide Consumer Affairs the name of a current contact person or agent, not adequately responding to consumer requests for access to their belongings and not having an agent available for at least 20-30 per week to allow consumers access to their belongings.

Daniel Burnside and his wife Sabrina spent 10 years of their lives fostering and spreading hatred for Blacks, Jews, Asians, Latinos, Mexicans, and the LGBTQ community.

They did so as part of the National Socialist Movement, once the largest Neo-Nazi white nationalist group in the United States, pushing their ideology through blistering rhetoric at demonstrations or literature espousing deep-seated intolerance for any ethnic group that isn't white.

On the website of NSM, it says the group is "fighting for civil rights and self-determination of Whites in America."

Burnside said that was the life he lived as the second-highest-ranking member of the organization.

He describes it as a brutal life, because living on hate took so much out of him.

"Horrible. Horrible, in one word," he said from his home.

Burnside said he had turned away from the ideology of white nationalists and removed images of swastikas from his property, claiming that there wasn't a single moment or event that shook him, but rather a gradual connection with common sense.

"I'd say it was over time. As I was in the movement, it was over time. I was completely one thousand percent on the wrong side," Burnside said.

His wife, Sabrina, said she realized there is no reason to hate or dislike anyone who doesn't share their race or color.

"If you've not done nothing to me, you've taken nothing from me, why do I have the right to feel that hate toward you?" she said.

Burnside and his wife say they're on a crusade to be held accountable for the ideology they once harbored, apologize, and ask for forgiveness.

"I'm denouncing anybody who hates somebody on the basis of race, religion or sexual identity," Sabrina said.

Burnside said they're reaching out to as many media platforms as possible to get out their message.

"I believe it's my duty to apologize and ask for forgiveness and help bring healing to this country", he said.

Findings from Wisconsin and Michigan: Investigations found Dominion and ES&S machines online and connected to the internet. In Michigan, a modem chip was discovered in an ES&S voting machine, potentially allowing hackers to intercept and manipulate election results.

Conclusion: Hackers can potentially infiltrate elections through vulnerable USB cards, election management systems, and voting machines themselves. This underscores the urgent need for securing America's election infrastructure.

The Georgia Supreme Court removed a county probate judge who was recently arrested for allegedly shoving a cop in a profanity-laden scuffle outside an Atlanta nightclub.

Douglas County Probate Judge Christina Peterson was removed from office and banned from holding any judicial post in the state for seven years after Georgia’s highest court issued its opinion of disbarment on Tuesday.

But it wasn’t her highly-publicized and caught-on-bodycam-footage arrest that led to her removal from the bar.

Peterson, 38, separately “exhibited a pattern of judicial misconduct while in office,” the Judicial Qualifications Commission found in a probe into her behavior.

The embattled judge, who was elected and sworn into office in December 2020, was at one point facing a whopping 50 counts of alleged misconduct — the first of which was filed less than a year into her four-year term. Of those, 20 were dismissed, while a hearing panel investigated the other 30.

The panel found clear and convincing evidence to find Peterson guilty of 28 of the 30 counts and concluded that she should be removed from the bench, according to its March report.

The high court agreed and found that Peterson showed a “flagrant disregard for the law, court rules, and judicial conduct rules” — as well as a “pattern of violations” of judicial rules.

In one of the “extremely concerning” violations, Peterson held a woman who appealed to the judge to correct an error on her marriage certificate in criminal contempt. She then sentenced her to the maximum jail time of 20 days behind bars plus a fine “without explanation or justification,” the panel found.

She was also accused of letting unauthorized people enter the county courthouse after hours without proper screening and using deputies to work overtime on her behalf with taxpayer money, the court said.

Peterson’s inappropriate behavior extended outside the courthouse as well. She was accused of engaging in “hostile exchanges” with neighbors at her homeowners association meeting, while suing the association.

Her repeated behavior “did not demonstrate the decorum and temperament required of a judge,” the state supreme court said in its opinion.

The Georgia Supreme Court did not consider Peterson’s viral arrest Thursday in its determination as it was not part of the investigation. But the accusations against her only further damaged her reputation.

The judge allegedly pushed an off-duty Atlanta cop outside the Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge twice in the chest and was charged with simple battery against a police officer and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Peterson interfered with the officer as he was trying to de-escalate a situation involving a security guard escorting a woman out of the club, police said.

She allegedly knocked the cop’s hands away from the woman and pushed him in the chest twice during the 3 a.m. altercation, according to the department.

“Let her f–cking go, let her f–cking go,” Peterson yells at the guard and police officer, according to the footage released by Atlanta police and obtained by local outlets.

The judge was quickly handcuffed and placed in the back of a police cruiser, where she shouted expletives and refused to give her name to the officer.

Peterson’s lawyer said she was trying to help the woman who was reportedly attacked by a man outside the club and that she did not mean to push the cop. Two witnesses, including the alleged victim, corroborated her account at a press conference Friday.

“He viciously attacked me, punched me in my face and Judge Peterson was the only one to help me,” she said.

Peterson’s attorney Marvin Arrington Jr. claimed she was only being a good Samaritan

“As the investigation continues to unfold and more facts come to light, we believe that Judge Christina Peterson will be completely exonerated of these charges,” her attorney Marvin Arrington Jr. said at the news conference.

The non-binary former Biden official fired after he was caught stealing luggage at an airport had a hand in crafting policy that would prevent 'unaffirming' parents of transgender grade school students from knowing about their child's gender identity.

Sam Brinton, 35, who uses 'they/their' pronouns, no longer has their Department of Energy job after they were accused of stealing luggage in two separate incidents.

Prior to becoming one of the federal government's first non-binary officials, they worked at the LGBTQ youth suicide prevention group The Trevor Project.

While there, Brinton helped craft 'Model School District Policy on Suicide Prevention' that included guidelines on telling parents about LGBTQ+ children.

The policy paper was done in conjunction with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the American School Counselor Association and the National Association of School Psychologists.

It establishes rules against what schools can keep their parents informed on and gives school mental health professionals the decision of what they should be informed about regarding their children.

It reads: 'While parents and guardians need to be informed and actively involved in decisions regarding the student's welfare, the school mental health professional should ensure that the parents' actions are in the best interest of the student (e.g., when a student is LGBTQ and living in an unaffirming household).'

They go on to argue that parents should not be informed of their child's gender identity or sexual orientation 'unless the student consents.'

It continues by saying that research shows LGBTQ youth are at a higher risk of suicide, depression or drug use if their identity is not supported by their families.
