Biden Energy Secretary Granholm admits false testimony about owning stocks

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm admitted in a letter Friday that she made a false statement when she recently told lawmakers she didn't own any individual stocks.

While Granholm divested from a variety of stocks in 2021, she acknowledged in the letter — which was sent to Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee leadership — that she maintained shares of six companies. On April 20, however, Granholm testified under oath that she had sold all of her shares of individual companies.

"As you know, as part of the confirmation process before this Committee, in 2021 I divested from assets that could be in conflict with my official duties," Granholm wrote in the letter obtained by Fox News Digital. "I did, however, retain assets that were determined by Government ethics officials to not conflict with my official duties."

"I mistakenly told the Committee that I did not own any individual stocks, whereas I should have said that I did not own any conflicting stocks. In order to make my financial holdings consistent with my testimony, on May 18, 2023, I divested my remaining stock holdings which consisted of stock in six companies, even though these assets were deemed non-conflicting," she continued.

Granholm didn't say in the letter which companies she had owned shares of — and which she divested from on May 18 — but vowed to share that information in her Annual Public Financial Disclosure Report in mid-June.

In addition, Granholm said she discovered on May 13 that her husband Daniel Mulhern owned $2,457.89 worth of shares in Ford Motor Company. Those shares were then sold on May 15, a Monday, when the stock market opened.

Granholm acknowledged she hadn't disclosed those shares in her two prior Public Financial Disclosure Reports and had mistakenly believed her family's divestiture of Ford was complete in early 2021. The Ford stock she and her husband held in their retirement accounts had been sold off on March 22, 2021, she said.

"As a public servant, I take very seriously the commitment to hold myself to the highest ethical standards, and I regret the accidental omission of my spouse’s interest in Ford," Granholm added in the letter. "This is a commitment I made to you, the President, and most importantly the American people."

"My spouse and I have double-checked our financial assets, and there are no other reportable assets that were omitted from my financial disclosure report," she concluded.

In response to the letter, Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Ranking Member John Barrasso, R-Wyo., criticized Granholm.

"Secretary Granholm lied to the committee about her family’s stock holdings," Barrasso said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "This comes after her failure to follow basic ethics and disclosure rules. This is a troubling pattern. It is unacceptable."

Granholm noted that all of her transactions listed in the letter would be disclosed on a Public Financial Disclosure Periodic Transaction Report in July.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, an Energy Department spokesperson said Granholm remained committed to "the highest ethical standards."

"The Secretary takes the commitment to uphold the highest ethical standards very seriously, which is why, upon realizing a comment made in error, the Secretary moved quickly to divest non-conflicting assets along with an asset held by her spouse of which she was previously unaware," the spokesperson said.

"The letter submitted to Congress clarifying the record underscores the Secretary’s commitment to transparency and to leading a DOE that puts the interests of the American people above all else."

 Did soldiers in Vietnam see demons in their night vision goggles?

The answer is yes, they kind of did.

The same questions always come up when I start talking about Dicyanin. People always want to regurgitate the urban legends they heard about Dicyanin on the internet. One of these stories is from years ago where somebody got on a podcast and claimed that during Vietnam there was a new type of night vision goggle that allowed soldiers to see demons and entities out in the jungle and it was driving them mad.

As much as this sounds like an exaggeration, I actually have some documentation here from the U. S. Naval Academy that indicates that is exactly what soldiers were reporting. The document is called, The Secret of Seeing Charlie in the Dark, by Richard A. Ruth of the Department of History of the U. S. Naval Academy

He indicates that though they used the new scopes in the field and they offered a tactical advantage, the users who used them endured physical, psychological, and emotional stress unforeseen by military leaders. Now, why would an optical tool? Give profound psychological stress. Let's read exactly what he says.

In other intimate mythologies of the war, the eerie green landscape generated by the starlight scope was populated by ambiguous entities. Fatigue, stress and fear exacerbated the tendency in some soldiers to miss. Interpret the images they saw through the scope. Soldiers described dragons and other supernatural creatures appearing from within the writhing phosphorescent murk of the starlight scope landscape.

One former medic recalled using a starlight scope to monitor hundreds of dead enemy bodies after a particularly intense firefight, only to discover in the morning that the corpses were just a hallucination. Now, do military medics usually hallucinate hundreds of dead enemy corpses laying on the ground, or was this person seeing something quite unique?

One patrol boat captain actually said that viewed in the eerie green glow, everything on the bank of the river seems to move. Bushes become Animate, and the device transformed the nightscape into something akin to an LSD hallucination. I have another article here from the Army Research and Development magazine about another type of night vision called a ThermoViewer, which was even more advanced than the Starlight Scope from the other article.

I don't know where the red lens meme came from, but that is not a thing that ever existed. I'm here trying to show you what did exist. Now the tone in these articles is very typical academic debunker nonsense where they narcissistically try to gaslight people out of believing the things they witness with their own eyes.

Like the army medic who saw a whole field of dead bodies that just apparently were apparitions. Apparently the soldiers in Vietnam are Easy targets. It's easy to write off the things that they reported as stress or drugs or, you know, an unhinged mind. But, in reality, they were making these claims. They were saying that this technology was allowing them to see very interesting things out there, and it was inexplicable to them.

Seeing very interesting, energetic things that don't seem to have any physical body is very typical of what myself and others have experienced with things like our Dycyanin Aura Goggles. Kshama Sawant, the socialist city councilwoman who led the efforts to defund and demonize the Seattle Police Department, is again asking for special treatment because someone keeps throwing poop at her.

Sawant sent a letter to the Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, demanding that he intervene and force the police department to take her investigation seriously, Capitol Hill Seattle reported.

“I am writing to express my concern that the Seattle Police Department (SPD) is failing to investigate a series of disturbing incidents at my home,” the letter read. “Six times now, bags of human excrement have been thrown into my yard, most recently on Thursday, October 13th. The events seem likely to be politically motivated, given their targeted nature and repetition.”

“The material used in these repeated attacks is classified as biohazardous waste,” Sawant’s letter to the mayor continued. “The police informed me the material can’t be sent to their lab for further investigation due to its hazardous nature. That seems quite odd considering that hospital labs do tests on human fecal matter all the time, but it does speak to the danger of having it repeatedly thrown in one’s yard.”

“It does not help that on at least one occasion, our dogs got into one of the bags before we realized what had happened. We had to call the animal poison control hotline, not knowing what the material was,” the councilwoman explained in her outraged letter.

“Most concerning is the very high likelihood that this extreme and hostile behavior is politically motivated, and could turn into more serious and dangerous harassment,” she added.

Then the lawmaker who led the charged to defund the Seattle police complained that officers were taking her seriously, Capitol Hill Seattle reported.

“Unfortunately, it does not appear that the Seattle Police Department agrees that this is in any way a serious matter,” Sawant complained in her letter. “I was informed yesterday, just five days after an investigation was opened on October 13th, that the case is being inactivated and no longer pursued at this time. This was after my husband reported an earlier incident (the fourth) on October 8th, when SPD officers immediately asked him, ‘What do you expect us to do?’ and did not open an investigation.”

Sawant implied in her letter that there was a conspiracy behind the police department’s lack of interest in her poop plight, Capitol Hill Seattle wrote.

“There is obviously a glaring inconsistency between this approach and the way in which former Mayor Durkan, after a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest was held a short distance from her mansion, was provided with a 24-hour stakeout for a full year,” she wrote.

It is a mess but I am not going to worry about that now, getting the new location out is most important.

I found this host with the Freespoke search engine. This host won't do shut downs or transfers without negotiating with me first. I gave no permission to transfer Jimstone.is and POOF, it was gone.

Jimstone.is has been taken away.

Once I sort out the problems, the new site will be at 101.99.91.131 (That is not where jimstonesingapore.com is) I set up jimstonesignapore.com on a shared Cpanel server because I don't need anything to make it work and was getting blocked from downloading Putty and Filezilla to stop me from starting over on a normal server after Jimstone.is got taken away. Cpanel has everything you need built in and is harder to stop when being messed with. When they give up I'll probably keep running from this domain while I keep the IP of the main server prominent and use it for serving resources.

Thanks to the bitcoin donations I am running on new servers. However, it is now depleted so my ability to handle more disasters is limited.

I had jimstone.is and Voterig.com both loaded with enough bitcoin funds to keep them going for years, nonrefundable of course. That was a loss. The basic server at jimstonesingapore.com is paid for one year, and the main one I can't get working is paid for 2 years. I'll get that going most likely because I managed to simply run filezilla off the desktop without using the linux updater and am using it to transfer files now.
But if those two new servers also get taken, I'll need more coin to jump elsewhere.
