⁣On November 27, 2023, I posted this video here on X, and within 24 hours, I was ordered by my commanding officer to remove it, so I did. It had already been saved by thousands around the world, and it was too late for the military "leadership" to put the cat back into the bag. No legitimate explanation was ever given for why they wanted it removed.

By the end of the week, my computer access was taken away. It was never restored.

The commanding officer, in communications that did not involve me, said that she wouldn't restore it because I wasn't trustworthy.

Rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg—who is 63 with a long, graying beard—recently sat down with me to explain what he described as a “child-rape assembly line” among sects of fundamentalist Jews. He cleared his throat. “I’m going to be graphic,” he said.

A member of Brooklyn’s Satmar Hasidim fundamentalist branch of Orthodox Judaism, Nuchem designs and repairs mikvahs in compliance with Torah Law. The mikvah is a ritual Jewish bathhouse used for purification. Devout Jews are required to cleanse themselves in the mikvah on a variety of occasions: Women must visit following menstruation, and men have to make an appearance before the High Holidays, such as Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Many of the devout also purify themselves before and after the act of sex and before the Sabbath.

On a visit to Jerusalem in 2005, Rabbi Rosenberg entered into a mikvah in one of the holiest neighborhoods in the city, Mea She’arim. “I opened a door that entered into a schvitz,” he told me. “Vapors everywhere, I can barely see. My eyes adjust, and I see an old man, my age, long white beard, a holy-looking man, sitting in the vapors. On his lap, facing away from him, is a boy, maybe seven years old. And the old man is having anal sex with this boy.”
Rabbi Rosenberg paused, gathered himself, and went on: “This boy was speared on the man like an animal, like a pig, and the boy was saying nothing. But on his face—fear. The old man [looked at me] without any fear, as if this was common practice. He didn’t stop. I was so angry, I confronted him. He removed the boy from his penis, and I took the boy aside. I told this man, ‘It’s a sin before God, a mishkovzucher. What are you doing to this boy’s soul? You’re destroying this boy!’ He had a sponge on a stick to clean his back, and he hit me across the face with it. ‘How dare you interrupt me!’ he said. I had heard of these things for a long time, but now I had seen.”

The child sex abuse crisis in ultra-Orthodox Judaism, like that in the Catholic Church, has produced its share of shocking headlines in recent years. In New York, and in the prominent Orthodox communities of Israel and London, allegations of child molestation and rape have been rampant. The alleged abusers are schoolteachers, rabbis, fathers, uncles—figures of male authority. The victims, like those of Catholic priests, are mostly boys. Rabbi Rosenberg believes around half of young males in Brooklyn’s Hasidic community—the largest in the United States and one of the largest in the world—have been victims of sexual assault perpetrated by their elders. Ben Hirsch, director of Survivors for Justice, a Brooklyn organization that advocates for Orthodox sex abuse victims, thinks the real number is higher. “From anecdotal evidence, we’re looking at over 50 percent. It has almost become a rite of passage.”

Ultra-Orthodox Jews who speak out about these abuses are ruined and condemned to exile by their own community. Dr. Amy Neustein, a nonfundamentalist Orthodox Jewish sociologist and editor of Tempest in the Temple: Jewish Communities and Child Sex Scandals, told me the story of a series of Hasidic mothers in Brooklyn she got to know who complained that their children were being preyed on by their husbands.

In these cases, the accused men “very quickly and effectively engage the rabbis, the Orthodox politicians, and powerful Orthodox rabbis who donate handsomely to political clubs.” The goal, she told me, is “to excise the mother from the child’s life.” Rabbinical courts cast the mothers aside, and the effects are permanent. The mother is “amputated.” One woman befriended by Dr. Neustein, a music student at a college outside New York, lost contact with all six of her children, including an infant she was breastfeeding at the time of their separation.

The discovery of a huge fossilised skull that was wrapped up and hidden in a Chinese well nearly 90 years ago has forced scientists to rewrite the story of human evolution.

Analysis of the remains has revealed a new branch of the human family tree that points to a previously unknown sister group more closely related to modern humans than the Neanderthals.

The extraordinary fossil has been named a new human species, Homo longi or “Dragon man”, by Chinese researchers, although other experts are more cautious about the designation.

“I think this is one of the most important finds of the past 50 years,” said Prof Chris Stringer, research leader at the Natural History Museum in London, who worked on the project. “It’s a wonderfully preserved fossil.”

The skull appears to have a remarkable backstory. According to the researchers, it was originally found in 1933 by Chinese labourers building a bridge over the Songhua River in Harbin, in China’s northernmost province, Heilongjiang, during the Japanese occupation. To keep the skull from falling into Japanese hands it was wrapped and hidden in an abandoned well, resurfacing only in 2018 after the man who hid it told his grandson about it shortly before he died.

A 70,000-year-old Neanderthal skeleton found in the foothills of Iraq has been described as “a truly spectacular find”.

The remains, consisting of a crushed but complete skull, upper thorax and both hands, were unearthed at the Shanidar Cave site 500 miles north of Baghdad.

Although its gender is yet to be determined, early analysis suggests the skeleton, named Shanidar Z, is more than 70,000 years old and has the teeth of a “middle- to older-aged adult”.

The cave has also been home to remains of 10 other Neanderthal people excavated around 60 years ago, with clumps of ancient pollen surrounding one of the skeletons.

The presence of pollen was seen by some archaeologists as evidence that these hominid species not only buried their dead but did so with flowers, challenging the widely-held belief that Neanderthals were dumb and animalistic.

Chris Hunt, a professor of cultural paleoecology at Liverpool John Moores University, described Shanidar Z as “a truly spectacular find”.

He said: “The upper remains are staggeringly complete, although the skull was flattened by compression under many tons of cave sediment.

“The body was placed in a depression on the cave floor in a semi-reclining position, with a big stone lying behind the head.”

Four of the 10 Neanderthals at the site were positioned in what the researchers described as a “unique assemblage”, raising a question as to whether they were returning to the same spot to lay their dead.

The editor inchief of the conservative magazine National Review, Rich Lowry, appears to have used a racial slur during a conversation on The Megyn Kelly Show, in which the two pundits were discussing the rampant falsehoods about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio. Lowry dropped the slur in place of the word "migrants," quickly correcting himself after.

"Police have gone through 11 months of recordings of calls and they've only found two Springfield residents calling to complain about Haitian [n word]s," he said, seemingly correcting afterward by adding, "migrants."

Kelly did not react to Lowry's apparent slip-up, nor did she address it when he finished speaking. Instead, the two defended Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance, who spread the claims despite admitting they are false, praising his "alternative facts."

Vance doubled down on debunked claims about Haitian immigrants abducting pets to eat them and falsely linked the migrant community to rising rates of HIV and tuberculosis in an interview last week with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. He later admitted the rumors were false but defended spreading them in a Sunday interview with Dana Bash on CNN.

“If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, Dana, then that’s what I’m going to do because you guys are completely letting Kamala Harris coast," Vance said.

The conspiracy theory that Haitian immigrants in Springfield were stealing and eating pets went viral after former President Donald Trump spread the false claims during last Tuesday's presidential debate. Trump insisted that immigrants were “eating the dogs and cats” of residents, despite local officials consistently debunking the rumors and noting that no evidence supported the claims.

After backlash, Lowry claimed on Twitter/X that he misspoke, insisting that he "began to mispronounce the word 'migrants' and caught myself halfway through."

The question everyone asks about Ross Perot is: “How would the outcome of the 1992 election have been different if he wasn’t in the race?”

The conventional wisdom is that George H.W. Bush would have won. Perot, an independent candidate, was a former Republican and ran on a conservative economic message. He won almost 20 percent of the popular vote. Most of his support would have gone to Bush, right?

In the latest installment in our documentary podcast series re-examining past presidential elections, we dig through the archives and talk to people involved in all three 1992 campaigns to suss out Perot’s true impact on the race. We found an answer to our original question — “What would’ve happened if Ross Perot didn’t run?” — but we also found ourselves asking an even more complicated question: “What would have happened if Ross Perot had run as a major-party candidate?”

Donald Trump’s candidacy gives us glimpse of what might have happened if Perot had run within the two party system. Both Perot and Trump ran as political outsiders, successful businessmen and populists. Their messages were simple. In Perot’s case, the national debt was “destroying the country,” and in Trump’s case, illegal immigration is “destroying the country.” Both men were protectionist on trade and said they would demand U.S. allies pay more for defense. But many of their policy proposals were vague or nonexistent.

Both the Perot and Trump campaigns relied on their candidate’s charisma, a simple message and a successful media strategy. Perot was an early darling of cable TV news, frequently appearing on talk shows like “Larry King Live.” He was also willing to harness unusual media strategies — he even did 30-minute infomercials, complete with charts. Trump’s presence on American television has been so ubiquitous that by March one firm that tracks advertising estimated he had received $2 billion worth of free media.

Both campaigns broke completely with political norms and proved surprisingly resilient in the face of prodding journalism and suggestions that the candidates were unfit to be president.

As Democratic strategist James Carville put it, “If Donald Trump is the kind of Jesus of the disenchanted, displaced non-college white voter, then Perot was the John the Baptist of that sort of movement.”

The difference is: Perot ran outside the two-party system. Nearly 20 million people cast a ballot for him, but he didn’t win a single vote in the Electoral College. Trump has run within the system. He got 13 million votes in the Republican primary, enough to win the nomination, and enough to put him within striking distance of the White House.

“Even though Americans say that they’re not partisan, they still have a home,” said Republican pollster Frank Luntz. “They still start by being a Republican or a Democrat and then they move based on the candidates or the environment of that election.”

Since 1992, the common narratives about Perot have been that he was a spoiler (unlikely) or that he was an anomaly (the most successful third-party candidate since 1912, at least in terms of the share of the popular vote won). But Trump’s rise suggests that Perot, a charismatic populist, may have been something else: a harbinger.

If you've ever seen that picture of Bill Clinton with Rachel Chandler that people say was Epstein's plane, it was really on Burkle's, allegedly dubbed "Air Fuck One".

He and Epstein were friends, and he even sought advice from him when he bought his own plane, but the two had a falling out over who got to fly Clinton around. In 2006, Gawker ran an article outlining similarities between the two of them, which caused him to sic his lawyers on them, getting it pulled...[but not GONE, baby - npo one beats VfB when he's on his A game!]

On June 25, 2009, the American singer Michael Jackson died of acute propofol intoxication in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 50. His personal physician, Conrad Murray, said that he found Jackson in his bedroom at his North Carolwood Drive home in the Holmby Hills area of the city not breathing and with a weak pulse; he administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to no avail, and security called 9-1-1 at 12:21 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (UTC–7). Paramedics treated Jackson at the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood at 2:26 p.m.[1]

On August 28, 2009, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner concluded that Jackson's death was a homicide.[2] Jackson had been administered propofol and anti-anxiety benzodiazepines lorazepam and midazolam by his doctor.[3] Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in November 2011, and was released in 2013 after serving two years of his four-year prison sentence with time off for good behavior.[4][5]

At the time of his death, Jackson had been preparing for a series of comeback concerts, This Is It, due to begin in July 2009 in London in the United Kingdom. His death triggered reactions around the world, creating unprecedented surges of Internet traffic and a spike in sales of his music.[6] A televised memorial service, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, had an estimated 2.5 billion viewers.[7][8][9] In 2010, Sony Music Entertainment signed a US$250 million deal with Jackson's estate to retain distribution rights to his recordings until 2017 and to release seven posthumous albums of unreleased material over the following decade.[10][11]

Propofol

Of all the drugs found in Jackson's home, the one that most concerned investigators was propofol (Diprivan), a powerful anesthetic administered intravenously in hospitals to induce and maintain anesthesia during surgery.[51] Nicknamed "milk of amnesia" because of its opaque, milk-like appearance (and a play on the words "milk of magnesia"), the drug has been associated with cardiac arrest,[51] but it still may be increasingly used off-label for anxiolytic and other medically unsubstantiated purposes.[45] Several propofol bottles—both opened and not—were found in his home.[45]

On June 30, Cherilyn Lee, a nurse practitioner who had worked as Jackson's nutritionist, said that he had asked her in May to provide propofol to help him sleep, but she refused. He told her he had been given the drug before for persistent insomnia, and that a doctor had said it was safe as long as he was being monitored. Lee said she received a telephone call from an aide to Jackson on June 21 to say that Jackson was ill, although she no longer worked for him. She reported overhearing Jackson complain that one side of his body was hot, the other side cold. She advised the aide to send Jackson to a hospital; Lee thought she recognized the symptoms, and suspected that Jackson was on propofol.[52][verification needed]

Arnold Klein said that Jackson used an anesthesiologist to administer propofol to help him sleep while he was on tour in Germany. The anesthesiologist would "take him down" at night and "bring him back up" in the morning during the HIStory World Tour of 1996 and 1997.[50]

Although the recent wave of both anti-gay and anti-feminine hatred had started to die down, fuelled by the far-right VOX political group immediately after the elections last year, that bias and hatred has reared its ugly head once more, with children’s costumes in the Torrevieja Carnival making the headlines, amid accusations of exploitation and even paedophilia, whilst many people, including parents of the children involved, say that their children were simply parading through the streets spreading their childish joy.

As a result of the parade, Torrevieja has attracted condemnation from the international media including the bishop of Orihuela-Alicante, José Ignacio Munilla, and the catholic website ‘infovaticana’ about one particular troupe, parading a group of children and adults dressed in stockings, garter belts, nipple shields, high heels and other provocative items of lingerie.

The costume, chosen by the Osadia troupe, and which won fourth prize in the costume category, saw many of the young children, some looking to be little more than 7 or 8 years of age, parading through the streets donned in LGTBI+, Spanish and Republican flags and wearing messages that criticised Spain’s political parties.

Videos shared on social networks spread like wildfire, generating a barrage of criticism from all over the world, for the “sexualization” of minors: “Children being used during carnival to sexualize them and be the object of LGBT ideology,” said one Canadian site.

However, the Popular Party government team and the opposition of the PSOE and Sueña Torrevieja have all supported the Torrevieja Carnival.

The Torrevieja Carnival Association is responsible for organizing these festive events and parades on the streets, in which thousands of people participate, with the town council involved as the necessary collaborator, supporting them financially and promoting them as one of the most powerful examples of Torrevieja festival celebrations, declared of regional tourist interest.

This year there was a special campaign, funded by the municipality, in neighbouring autonomous communities and in Madrid, aimed at promoting the carnivals in the town through residential tourism, with the events being concentrated over three weekends.

Following the media frenzy the Carnival Association responded on their Instagram account, saying, “The Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association will always support all the troupes and participants of our carnivals. And we will always defend freedom in our carnivals,” adding the hashtag #hoysomososadia.

In a statement Mayor Dolon said that he supports “the great Carnival family and the board of directors” of the carnival association. “It was one more year in which the Torrevieja Carnival floods its streets with magic, colour, music and smiles with a spectacular night parade. I want to congratulate all the award-winning troupes and the participants,”

“Carnival is criticism, satire, provocation, fun,” he continues, “and taking it out of context and dimensioning an event like the one being criticised is totally out of place.” “I am sure,” says the mayor, “that the intention of the mothers and fathers of these children was not, at all, to hypersexualise their children with their costumes,” but rather to pour out “a criticism of the political and social situation in Spain, nothing else”.

Dolón is blunt in his response: “The Torrevieja City Council does not and will not come in to censor or monitor the costumes that the troupe creates each year.” In his opinion, Osadía “has complete freedom to decide what they want to represent.”

However, the vast majority of posts on social networks are highly critical of the Osadia troupe with many wondering how parents could allow their children to be openly exploited.

Bishop Munilla wrote, on X (formerly Twitter) that he has come to the “conclusion that our authorities do not even believe in the laws that they themselves promulgate; as is the case of the Comprehensive Child Protection Law, which came into force in 2021”.

However, Pablo Samper, leader of the Sueña Torrevieja party, has also received insults after he defended the costumes, resulting in his Twitter account being bombarded with insults and expletives.

“Almost all of them come from anonymous bot accounts,” said Samper, to whom the explosion of the networks is a “very serious” matter.“
