A shocking incident that occurred in Göttingen, western Germany, has caused controversy. A 16-year-old Ukrainian refugee, Liana, was thrown in front of a train by an illegal Iraqi immigrant and lost her life. It has now been revealed that the authorities had not followed through on the deportation order issued to the assailant as of March 2025, leading to criticism of negligence.

⁣Niagara Regional Police say a child was rushed to an out-of-region hospital for advanced medical care after their parents woke up to find their home had been broken into and the child had been attacked overnight.

Police say they received a “medical assistance call involving a child under the age of 5” just before 9 a.m. Sunday from a home in the area of Crowland Avenue and York Street in Welland, Ont.

When officers arrived, they noticed the front door showed signs of being forced open. The child was assessed at the home and paramedics transported them to hospital for advanced care, where they remain in stable condition.
Investigators have determined that the break-in occurred some time between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8:59 a.m. Sunday.
“While inside the residence, unbeknownst to the parents, their child was sexually assaulted,” police said.

After canvassing the area, someone in the neighbourhood said they had video surveillance of the general area. They were able to identify an alleged suspect, police say, resulting in the arrest of Daniel Senecal, 25, of Welland.
Senecal is charged with aggravated sexual assault on a person under 16, assault, assault/choking, break and enter, and sexual interference with a person under 16.

Pratt liquidated his assets and fled the United States in mid-2019. He was named to the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted list and lived as an international fugitive for more than three years until his arrest in Spain in December 2022 and extradition to San Diego in March 2024.

Pratt pleaded guilty on June 5, 2025, to Conspiracy to Commit Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud and Coercion; and Committing Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud and Coercion. Prosecutors argued for the longest sentence given the serious nature of the offenses, Pratt’s leadership role, and the length of the conspiracy.

Florida Stabbing at Park Injures 2 Women, Suspect Dead After Jumping in Pond

Facts:
19-year-old, Octavious McCaine stabbed two adult women with a large knife in Cascades Park around 7:39 p.m., including one holding a baby, during a busy evening with joggers and socializers near the Florida Capitol.

Witnesses reported the attacker jumping out at a woman near the Department of Transportation parking lot, stabbing her before fleeing as bystanders rushed to help.

The victims were hospitalized in stable condition, with names not released. The suspect, jumped into a stormwater pond six minutes later, struggling before submerging; he was found deceased around 1 a.m. after a search, with no threat remaining to the community.

No motive has been mentioned, and investigations by Tallahassee Police are ongoing. The popular 24-acre park, featuring trails, a fountain, and waterfall, was named a historic site for its role in selecting Tallahassee as the capital.
