The circumstances that led to the verbal altercation between the shooter and the driver were unclear, the LAPD said. One woman who declined to be publicly identified said she heard as many as 10 gunshots, followed by the crash that sounded "like an explosion." The shooter remained at large Friday afternoon. A description of the suspect was not available.

Over time, cadmium accumulates in the body and can damage the kidneys and bones. Researchers also have documented some absorption through skin contact, though the phenomenon is not well-studied.

PULASKI CO., Va. – The lawsuit filed states that Auston Wingo was attending a daycare at the YMCA in December of 2021 when the 5-year-old was found face down, underwater in the swimming pool before dying at a hospital hours later.
