⁣This weekend, the Facebook page Anonymous posted a short clip from the 1981 movie My Dinner with Andre that went viral. In the clip, one of the characters provides an absolutely chilling perspective on the world in 1981—one that in many ways applies to today, and has even perhaps been magnified.

Andre: Now, of course, Björnstrand feels that there’s really almost no hope, and that we’re probably going back to a very savage, lawless, terrifying period.

The devastation in North Carolina completely blindsided local officials, with some calling it "Biblical devastation."

North Carolina is seeing the worst of it, with some areas receiving over two feet of rain.

Some of the staff are really inept at their job. I
came in to pick up my like granddaughter. I stepped in just to connect
with her and bring her. home. Unaware that there would be interaction
at the front desk. I didn't have my id, but I'm a member there and I had
my card. So there's a picture of me and my Driver's license is on file.
Finally after going to my photos on phone I found a identification.
Luckily my granddaughter recognized me Or they might have insinuated
taking me into custody. So it's was a very ridiculous Encounter and
another waste of my time at the y.

I was quickly reminded why I had previously cancelled
my membership here. While being the size of two Costco's and has the
ascetics of a Embassy suites there is somehow only three standard bench
press spots, which doesn't really matter as no one including the staff
actually re-racks weights. Add to this they are so close together that
you can not safely add or remove weight while someone is on the one next
to you. But luckily there are 122 ellipticals and stationary bikes to
choose from. The staff seem uninterested or too lazy to be concerned in
the safety, wellbeing, or general etiquette of the work out floor.
Members are allowed to take up multiple machines and bars at once, move
equipment from its designated section, and generally take over entire
swarf's of the floor. There are plenty of rooms that could offer some
relief to the horrible layout, but those are off limits.

In the locker room, members are allowed to just hang out for hours
taking photos/videos be loud and obnoxious, while other members stroll
around with with no clothing or covering. They enter the steam room or
sauna completely disrobed and do not bother to put a towel down before
sitting. I have seen younger members yell at, cuss and curse at older
members over being asked to close the door, or stop taking photos. When I
brought this to the attention of the staff, once again they did not
seem interested. When cancelling my membership I explained this to the
staffer processing my paperwork. They acknowledged they were aware of
these issues, but advised management had no plans for remedies. Simply
put the place is to big, to poorly planned, to poorly run.

Shortly after getting a membership I found out I was
moving and it’s not a Y in the area so I NEVER used the membership, but
instead had it canceled. Wasn’t informed that I’ll still be charged the
following month because then I would have asked other options so I
wouldn’t waste $65 for nothing!! I would have even asking could it be
transferred to my mothers account but wasn’t given that option. So they
still charges my card and basically tells me it’s nothing they can or
will do!!! Definitely not the type of business I will support ever
again!!

Reason the pool, spa, and steam room are nasty is because the
staff is racist and ONLY lets invaders of any color break all the rules
like not showering and wearing dirty sweaty street clothing while using
the sauna. Then the blacks try to gang up against you by making false
claims to management that you are a White nationalist even though you

they have only played child rape music for mudsharks.

At the Y, we strive to be welcoming to all that come
through our doors. That is a strong statement and we appreciate feedback
from our members and guests, but our team is all about the community we
serve. We will continue to strive to serve our community through our
programs, services and initiatives that we offer at the Y.

We have a dedicated cleaning crew that is there all day long and they
work very hard to keep our branch clean. We have had some program pool
issues recently due to cloudiness of the water. We’re diligently working
through solutions to work through them and encouraging our members to
rinse off in the showers before/after pool use, which will help with the
current issues.
