1⃣ Take a SAM splint and cut a piece about 25 cm (10 inches) long.
2⃣ Cover the sharp edges with duct tape for safety.
3⃣ Cut along the long edge every inch (to the middle), fold the flaps upward, and roll it into a circular shape.
4⃣ Place this stabilizing ring over the knife and secure it with duct tape to keep it from moving.

This prevents unnecessary movement and buys time for emergency care. 🚑 Always call emergency services immediately!

⁣A registered sex offender is facing more charges after Florida detectives say he strangled an 11-year-old boy, tied him up, and forced him to drink alcohol and smoke marijuana for three days at a campsite.

Flagler County deputies found the missing 11-year-old from St. Johns County when they pulled over 60-year-old Darnell Hairston off U.S. 1 on New Year’s Eve.

Authorities received a tip that Hairston, a known sex offender, was seen with two teens.

While deputies were making the arrest, deputies say 15-year-old Junior Bishop took off in Hairston’s truck, nearly hitting a deputy. Bishop later crashed with a deputy cruiser.

What we know about the incident

A 37-year-old woman was fatally shot by an ICE agent today after a group of people began blocking officers during an immigration-related operation in Minneapolis, the Department of Homeland Security said.

Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin alleged that the driver "weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them."

In a news conference, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said it did not appear from video of the incident that the vehicle was being weaponized against the agent. He called for ICE to leave the city, saying the agency is “causing chaos and distrust.”

Video footage from NBC affiliate KARE 11 of Minneapolis showed a burgundy SUV with what appears to be a bullet hole in the windshield. It’s not clear to whom the SUV belongs or from where the bullet was shot.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz pushed back on Homeland Security's account of the shooting, saying he has "seen the video." "Don’t believe this propaganda machine," he added.
