Two employees have died following an explosion at a Louisville, Kentucky, factory that also blew out windows in nearby homes and businesses, the company said Wednesday.

The explosion occurred Tuesday afternoon at Givaudan Sense Colour, which produces colorings for food and drinks. Firefighters rescued and evacuated many people from the building, including some with life-threatening injuries, Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg said in a statement Tuesday night.

Sister station WLKY reported that part of the building collapsed.

Sources initially told WLKY that people were "missing and trapped inside," but the mayor said around 4:30 p.m. that everyone was accounted for.

They did say one person who was trapped was rescued.

University of Louisville Hospital said they had seven of 12 patients who were taken to hospitals. Two of them were listed as being in critical condition and five were listed as stable. Givaudan did not specify if the two critical patients at UofL Hospital were the ones who died.

UofL Hospital said they have seven of those patients. Two of them are in critical condition and five are stable. Dr. Jason Smith said they received burn, blast, blunt force and crush injuries.

It's unclear where the other patients are.

Greenberg said they still don't know what caused the explosion. They expect that to be under investigation for "some time."

September 11th - Cover For A COUP D'ETAT?
Well...despite the fact that I pontificate on a number of subjects, the main focus of this page is outlining the changes to our society, our environment and our way of life since the coming and going of the storied event in question. Let's bring up an interesting point here, now that people are all aghast from Shillary's comments on Friday...I'd really like some discussion of this:

Black people were being hosed down like dirty sidewalks for years...and then, all of a sudden, someone shoots Martin Luther King, Jr., and his "killer" is given a 99-year sentence.

Can I be the ONLY INDIVIDUAL who finds this to be...WEIRD?!?

"Niggers" were hanging like pinatas all over the South...and no one really batted an eye...so what made this particular "nigger" so different?

I'm using that vulgarity to illustrate my earlier point: do you think that it was a COINCIDENCE that in the years of outrage against Black men, this one was actually afforded some modicum of "justice"? Why did he rate?

This was an obfuscation - in 1999, it was proven that a REAL CONSPIRACY existed in the murder of MLK, so his murder just HAPPENED to correspond with the first-ever (to my knowledge - please update me, if you've any info) conviction of a non-Black individual in the murder of a Black man.

I hope you get my point.

Now...back to Shillary...I was listening to Bill O'Reilly today, and amazingly, he was holding Shillary's feet to the fire over her commentary; in fact, he took it a step further and played a news clip I've not heard elsewhere. He had played a clip from Ray Larson, Grand Dragon of the KKK, where he practically guarantees that a "Southerner" will assassinate Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, should he gain the nomination.

Considering how there was a "security lapse" during one of his campaign rallies, where agents were instructed to "stop their search for guns" should be cause for concern...

...or do you think that was a COINCIDENCE?

I'm sure it was a COINCIDENCE that Deborah Jeane Palfrey "committed suicide" when she had everything to live for, and not once had exhibited any such ideas about ending her life prematurely...

Bill Gates Just Released The Math Formula That Will Solve Climate Change

Bill Gates is betting personal billions on investing in clean energy. And now the world's richest man is putting his mouth where his money is.

He devoted his half of the annual letter from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation -- a yearly barometer of his philanthropic focus, either in terms of how or where he’s deploying money and attention -- to climate change. More specifically, the need for a clean, renewable energy source.

“I’m amazed how little we spend there compared with defense research, medical research,” Gates tells Forbes.

Especially when the stakes are so big. Gates directed this year’s letter toward high school students, complete with personal details including his early affinity for Superman comic books, his bad grades in middle school and his love of Cocoa Puffs cereal. (Melinda Gates, who focused the second half of the letter on gender equality, prefers Wheat Chex). He punctuates his letter with a simple mathematical equation he concocted that underscores the need for what he calls an “energy miracle”.

P x S x E x C = CO2 (carbon dioxide output).

It’s a neat little formula because it drives home the point: that for all the Paris climate talks and more affordable Teslas, environmental incrementalism is somewhat pointless. In the equation, P = population; S = services used by people; E= the energy needed to power those services; and C equals the carbon dioxide created by that energy. Population is of course trending ever-higher, as are the services people demand, especially in the developing world which has barely scratched the surface in terms of cars and air conditioning and other modern basics. Those two factors swamp progress in energy efficiency. Gates points out that scientists are calling for an 80 percent drop in carbon emissions by 2050 (and a total end by 2100) to stave off the most dramatic effects of climate change, yet even with more efficiency, the growth in population and services means that emissions will instead jump by 50%.

Math 101: the only way to get to zero carbon dioxide output is to drop one of those inputs to zero. Since eliminating any carbon byproduct of energy is preferable to a complete human die-off or a stone age suite of services, that’s the only path. Shaving at the margins simply won’t get the job done; only a moonshot solution that provides unlimited clean energy will stave off environmental (and thus, economic) catastrophe.

“Unless emissions get to zero, you’re just not going to get there,” says Gates.

⁣Homemade Battery. The DIY "Earth Battery". Earth Batteries are easy to make and produce enough power to run many items such as Lcd clocks, watches, pedometers, calculators, LED lighting and more. all that's needed is copper wire (from old extension cord etc.), several small bolts (screws or nails can also be used), an ice cube tray and dirt. that's it. makes a quick and easy battery. works best if it's made with moist dirt/soil. Note: every couple of days the dirt will "dry out" and the voltage will decrease.
