Jeffrey Epstein turned Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago into another of his hunting grounds for young girls, leading Trump to bar him from the Florida resort, court papers claim.
“Trump allegedly banned Epstein from his Maralago Club in West Palm Beach because Epstein sexually assaulted a girl at the club,” according to the papers, filed in the Sunshine State as part of an ongoing legal battle between Epstein and Bradley Edwards, who represented many of Epstein’s underage accusers in civil suits against him.
The filing is dated April 2011, well before Trump ascended to the presidency.
The same filing also cites an underage Jane Doe’s allegation that Epstein’s girlfriend-turned-pal Ghislane Maxwell recruited her at Mar-a-Lago to be the couple’s “sex slave.”
Trump has previously praised Epstein as a “terrific guy” and, according to the filing, Epstein once welcomed Trump aboard his private plane, hosted him in his Palm Beach home and had 14 phone numbers for Trump in a computer directory.
But the president on Tuesday distanced himself from the freshly arrested, convicted pedophile.
“I knew him like everybody in Palm Beach knew him,” Trump told reporters at the White House of Epstein during an appearance with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. “I had a falling out a long time ago, I’d say maybe 15 years.
“I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you.”
Messages left for Edwards, as well as Epstein’s criminal lawyer, Reid Weingarten, were not immediately returned.

When blatant disregard for local and federal laws are committed, there should be no diplomatic immunity. If it were a true accident, I can see where diplomatic immunity can be used. But, this kid didn’t do that. The U.S. should NOT tolerate or provide immunity to the diplomat or his dependents for intentionally breaking the law. No country should provide such protections. DUI/DWI is intentional. Murder or intent to commit murder should not be protected. Drug trafficking/sales/distribution should not be protected. Human trafficking should not be tolerated. Theft, spying, selling US secrets, etc… Just because they are representing their country doesn’t mean they can disrespect ours AND it should mirror in all NATO countries.

I'm a Christian and I believe Jesus is our Lord and Saviour. But I can't help myself but think that this letter isn't authentic. First, in the gospels when the pharises bring Jesus in front of Pilate Pontius, Pilate speaks and acts like he never knew or even hear about Jesus, suggesting that Pilate couldn't knew Jesus before. Secondly, if Pilate would end his official letter to the Caesar with "Hallelujah" a jewish phrase, the Caesar would think Pilate is a traitor, preparing a revolution in Galilee. I might be wrong, I might be an unbeliever like Tomas was, but I think this letter isn't authentic. Anyway, regardless of this letter, Jesus is The One True God. Amen!

I work with a Jewish gentleman from Israel, both parents were born and raised in Israel. He has beautiful greenish blue eyes and olive skin as if he has a gentle tan and average brown hair. The Bible nowhere gives a physical description of what Jesus looked like during His incarnation. The closest thing we get to a description is in Isaiah 53:2b, “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.” All this tells us is that Jesus’ appearance was just like any other man’s – He was ordinary-looking. Isaiah was here prophesying that the coming suffering Servant would arise in lowly conditions and wear none of the usual emblems of royalty, making His true identity visible only to the discerning eye of faith.

I always took Pilate as a just man. Maybe, being a veteran, i relate more to the Romans than the Jews. I always found it interesting how Roman accounts of Jesus always portrayed him as righteous and maybe as something more. It was like, even non-believers could feel something about him. Pontius Pilate's letter to Ceasar is an incredible read. He truly believed Jesus was the son of God and the way he described his conversation with Jesus was an eye opener.
Also Pilate was a Governor, not Ceasar and it was shocking how little the Roman's had control of Jerusalem and the Jewish people during that time.

I think that even though Jesus was born in the middle east, He is going to look just how God wants Him to look, dark hair or blondish hair, blue eyes or brown and I think its incredibly arrogant of us to assume we know how God made Jesus to look. There are albino people who'd normally have dark skin. God can and does do what He wants, I think its wise to remember that. Nor should physical traits matter. The Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel.
"We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma’ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."
It amazes me that despite the fact that Osama bin Laden has admitted multiple times that he ordered the September 11th attacks, there are still plenty of people — especially in Arab countries — who believe otherwise. Netanyahu just gave those folks a huge gift.

On Wednesday evening, as Kyle Rittenhouse prepared to speak at the UC Theatre at the University of Memphis, roughly 200 people gathered outside to protest his appearance.
In August 2020, a 17-year-old Rittenhouse shot and killed two demonstrators in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and injured a third, who had been protesting the shooting of a Black man by a white police officer. He claimed self-defense and was acquitted of criminal accusations in fall 2021, but became a divisive figure across the country.
And many U of M students and community members were furious he was speaking at the university.
One protester held up a sign that said, “Put Rittenhouse behind bars not a podium,” while another’s display said, “Murderers don’t belong here.” A third sign said, “Face of a Weenie,” next to photos of Rittenhouse, and a fourth said, “No one should be open to: Racism, Christo-Fascism, Murderous Little Shits.”
As the crowd grew, a group walked up holding signs and chanting, “No Justice, no peace.” They continued their chants periodically, and someone banged along on a trash can like it was a drum.
The protesters congregated near the entrance to the UC Theatre ― part of the University Center ― which was blocked off by several campus police vehicles and metal fencing, and guarded by both campus police and state troopers. A line of people attending the event began to form shortly after 6 p.m., behind the fencing.
The event started around 7 p.m., but the protesters continued to stand out and chant, even after the doors were closed. As the sun began to set and the air cooled, a saxophonist and drummer started performing.
How we got here
In the days leading up to Kyle Rittenhouse’s talk at the University of Memphis on Mar. 20, the institution was inundated with complaints from students, alumni, and community members who were furious he had been invited to speak.
U of M wasn’t sponsoring the event; it had been arranged by the student chapter of the conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA. The school also maintained that it was legally required to let Rittenhouse talk, per the First Amendment and Tennessee’s Campus Free Speech Act.
But this didn’t assuage people who were upset, and in response to concerns, U of M released a statement earlier this month, reiterating that it was following the law. It asserted that “the expression of different ideas and opinions plays an important role in maintaining a diverse campus environment that is open and inclusive.” And it encouraged people to remain peaceful and respectful, however they may feel about Rittenhouse’s appearance.
“It is essential that these discussions take place while maintaining a safe environment on our campus,” U of M said, in the statement. “Speech that includes threats, harassment, or attempts to incite violence is not protected under the First Amendment and is strongly prohibited by the university.”
The university also noted that campus police services had “a comprehensive plan” to address potential safety concerns related to the event and that it was working with local law enforcement and providing additional security staffing before, during, and after it ended.
Why people showed up
On Wednesday night, The Commercial Appeal asked several demonstrators what had spurred them to come protest.
Alexis Kershaw, a U of M senior, said, “I’m Black, so I feel like that was really enough,” then added that she was a part of organizations that had been discussing peacefully protesting, like the Black Student Association.
Emily Estrada, a U of M freshman who was there with Memphis Wesley ― a campus ministry associated with the United Methodist Church ― felt that what Rittenhouse did “wasn’t right.”
“There are people who have gone to jail for far less worse crimes,” she said.
Also there with Memphis Wesley was Tondala Hayward, the group’s pastor, who explained that it was important for the ministry to be there because it was focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
But while most of the crowd seemed to be protesting the Rittenhouse event, there were people there who appeared to support him ― or at least weren’t staunchly opposed to the event.
