Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was fatally shot by a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy in Palmdale after he allegedly crashed a vehicle into two patrol cars while fleeing the scene of an earlier domestic violence incident.

The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday in the 6900 block of Jack Rabbit Way, near 70th Street East, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Samuel Nunez, 26, of Lancaster died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported.

The deputies were following up on a domestic violence incident from earlier in the evening and attempted to make contact with a man seated inside a vehicle, Koerner said.

"The suspect attempted to flee the location and rammed two patrol vehicles several times,'' Koerner said. "After ramming one of the deputy's vehicles, a deputy-involved shooting occurred. ... It was later determined the suspect was not involved in the early domestic violence call.''

Anyone who witnessed the shooting was asked to call the LASD's homicide bureau at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.

Palmdale, California — On March 13, 2022 at approximately 6:05 p.m. on the 6900 block of Jack Rabbit Way, Palmdale, detectives learned that deputies assigned to Palmdale station were conducting a follow-up on a domestic violence call from earlier in the evening. While at the location, deputies attempted to contact a male Hispanic adult seated inside a vehicle. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Samuel Nunez attempted to flee the location and rammed two patrol vehicles several times. After ramming one of the deputy’s vehicles, a deputy-involved shooting occurred. The deputies immediately began to render aid to Nunez. LA County Fire Department paramedics arrived and continued to render aid, but ultimately, Nunez was pronounced deceased at the scene. It was later determined Nunez was not involved in the early domestic violence call. Nunez was driving a stolen vehicle, additionally a loaded polymer .80 ghost-gun, 9mm semi-automatic handgun was recovered inside the vehicle.

The group of brain dead Democrat volunteers appeared to understand Fetterman just fine!

Independent voters changed their support from John Fetterman to Dr. Oz after watching last Tuesday night’s dumpster fire debate.

Independent voters interviewed after the debate said they changed their mind and will vote for Oz after realizing Fetterman is unable to speak coherent sentences.

“It was very, very difficult to watch. Fetterman is not physically capable of serving in the US Senate,” independent voter Marc Goldberg told Fox News.

“I’m a registered Independent… I don’t know how anybody in their right mind, who are in the middle like me, could possibly vote for John Fetterman,” he said.

On Saturday, after his team’s 125–116 loss to the Indiana Pacers, a reporter vigorously questioned Irving about why he used his Twitter account to promote Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America, a 2018 film that contains a host of anti-Semitic themes.

“It’s on Amazon, public platform,” Irving said of his decision to post a link to the purported documentary, which was adapted from a book of the same name. “Whether you want to go watch it or not is up to you. There’s things being posted every day. I’m no different than the next human being, so don’t treat me any different. You guys come in here and make up this powerful influence that I have … [and say], ‘You cannot post that.’ Why not? Why not?” He went on to suggest that he hadn’t expressed hatred for anyone, and he appeared to link the controversy—without explaining the connection—to his own experience of “living as a free Black man here in America, knowing the historical complexities for me to get here.”
In reality, Irving has joined a troubling club of high-profile Black male celebrities—also including the rapper Kanye West—who have stubbornly embraced conspiracy theories, particularly anti-Semitic ones, under the pretext of seeking a deeper truth about their own origins.
