When this story initially broke, outlets were reporting that the shooter rammed his truck into the building. Newer reports from The AP dispute this:

Police said one person was shot in the leg. [Pastor] Kelly said a church member ran the shooter over with his truck, giving the security guard time to shoot him. The person who was shot in the leg was the security guard, the pastor told the newspaper. No one else was hurt, he said.

A member of the church saw a man marching in with a gun, reportedly ran him over with his truck, then the security guard who was shot in the leg took the shooter down.
