Maricopa County's Board of Supervisors is made up of five elected members. They hold the keys to a $4.5 billion budget in the fourth most populous county in the nation.
Supervisors, who are elected out of districts covering different areas of the county, appoint a county manager who serves as the chief administrator of Maricopa County.
While the county manager handles day-to-day operations across most departments, the board is responsible for setting a vision and direction for the region.
That makes the board something of a sleeping giant in regional politics. From a 30,000-foot view, supervisors oversee land use issues, public health, Election Day voting and more. They directly control the county's checkbook, giving them authority over the resources of the Sheriff's Office, Attorney's Office and other departments with elected heads.
They also serve as the municipal body for those living in unincorporated areas of the county, who aren't residents of cities or towns and do not get the same amenities as those who are.
Supervisor spots are highly coveted by Arizona politicos, often serving as a steppingstone to higher political office. Former county supervisors include former U.S. Rep. Ed Pastor and former Gov. Jan Brewer.
Board meetings are generally held biweekly at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the supervisors' auditorium at 205 W. Jefferson St. in Phoenix. Meetings are open to the public. The county posts agendas and meeting date information on its website.
Vice Chairman Jack Sellers, District 1
Sellers, a Republican, was first appointed to the board in 2019 after former Supervisor Denny Barney resigned to take over as the full-time East Valley Partnership CEO and president. He later was elected to a full term in 2020. Before joining the board, Sellers served two terms on the Chandler City Council. He has lived in the county for more than 30 years and is a retired facilities manager for the General Motors Desert Proving Ground.
He represents District 1, which spans much of the southeast Valley, including portions of Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek and Phoenix's Ahwatukee neighborhood.
Supervisor Tom Galvin, District 2
Galvin is a Republican and was appointed to his seat in 2021. It was previously held by former Supervisor Steve Chucri, who resigned after secret recordings were released of him discussing unfounded suspicions of voter fraud and slamming his colleagues after the November 2020 election. Galvin later won election to the board in 2022.
He holds a law degree from the University of Notre Dame and has lived in Maricopa County for 14 years. In addition to his role as supervisor, Galvin is a land use attorney for Scottsdale-based Rose Law Group and previously worked as a policy adviser for an Arizona Corporation Commissioner Brenda Burns.
His district encompasses much of the East Valley, including parts of Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, Mesa and Gilbert.
Supervisor Bill Gates, District 3
Gates, a Republican, was first elected as supervisor in 2016 and won reelection in 2020. Before joining the board, he served seven years on the Phoenix City Council, where he represented Sunnyslope, Moon Valley and other parts of northeast Phoenix. He holds a law degree from Harvard University and has practiced law in Phoenix for 25 years. He also serves on numerous non-profit boards.
District 3 stretches from north-central Phoenix to Anthem, encompassing Gates' previous council district. It also includes parts of Paradise Valley and a small portion of northern Peoria.
Chairman Clint Hickman, District 4
Hickman is a Republican and was first appointed to the board in 2013 after longtime former Supervisor Max Wilson retired. He was elected in 2014 and reelected in 2020. A fourth-generation Arizonan, he is vice president of sales and marketing at Hickman's Family Farms, which his family has owned and operated since the 1940s. The company is Arizona's largest egg producer.
His district spans most of the northwest Valley, including Wickenburg, Surprise, Litchfield Park, nearly all of Peoria, the northern half of Buckeye and parts of Glendale, Avondale and Goodyear.
Supervisor Steve Gallardo, District 5
The board's lone Democrat, Gallardo was appointed to his seat in 2014 after longtime former Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox resigned to run for Congress. He was elected a few months later and won reelection in 2016 and 2020. A former state lawmaker, Gallardo represented a district in the southwest Valley in both the House and the Senate for about 10 years before becoming supervisor. He also previously worked as a campaign finance administrator in the county's Elections Department. Gallardo is a fourth-generation Arizonan.
His district encompasses downtown and south Phoenix, then stretches west through Avondale, Tolleson, Goodyear, Buckeye and south past Gila Bend. It is the county's most racially diverse district and is considered the only safely Democratic seat on the board.

Adding one comment from the Reddit page: There's a character named Ron Burkle who was a big investor in Sean John, and has been described as Diddy's "sugar daddy". If you've ever seen that picture of Bill Clinton with Rachel Chandler that people say was Epstein's plane, it was really on Burkle's, allegedly dubbed "Air Fuck One".
He and Epstein were friends, and he even sought advice from him when he bought his own plane, but the two had a falling out over who got to fly Clinton around. In 2006, Gawker ran an article outlining similarities between the two of them, which caused him to sic his lawyers on them, getting it pulled...[but not GONE, baby - npo one beats VfB when he's on his A game!]

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Death of Michael Jackson
Jackson's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, showing flowers for fans to express grief; became a focal point for fans, surrounded by barriers and covered with flowers.
Date June 25, 2009; 14 years ago
Time 2:26 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Time)
Location Westwood, Los Angeles, California, U.S.
Type Homicide by acute propofol intoxication
Deaths Michael Jackson
Convicted Conrad Robert Murray
Trial People v. Murray
Verdict Guilty
Convictions Involuntary manslaughter
Sentence 4 years in prison (paroled after 1 year and 11 months)
On June 25, 2009, the American singer Michael Jackson died of acute propofol intoxication in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 50. His personal physician, Conrad Murray, said that he found Jackson in his bedroom at his North Carolwood Drive home in the Holmby Hills area of the city not breathing and with a weak pulse; he administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to no avail, and security called 9-1-1 at 12:21 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (UTC–7). Paramedics treated Jackson at the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood at 2:26 p.m.[1]
On August 28, 2009, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner concluded that Jackson's death was a homicide.[2] Jackson had been administered propofol and anti-anxiety benzodiazepines lorazepam and midazolam by his doctor.[3] Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in November 2011, and was released in 2013 after serving two years of his four-year prison sentence with time off for good behavior.[4][5]
At the time of his death, Jackson had been preparing for a series of comeback concerts, This Is It, due to begin in July 2009 in London in the United Kingdom. His death triggered reactions around the world, creating unprecedented surges of Internet traffic and a spike in sales of his music.[6] A televised memorial service, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, had an estimated 2.5 billion viewers.[7][8][9] In 2010, Sony Music Entertainment signed a US$250 million deal with Jackson's estate to retain distribution rights to his recordings until 2017 and to release seven posthumous albums of unreleased material over the following decade.[10][11]
Propofol
Of all the drugs found in Jackson's home, the one that most concerned investigators was propofol (Diprivan), a powerful anesthetic administered intravenously in hospitals to induce and maintain anesthesia during surgery.[51] Nicknamed "milk of amnesia" because of its opaque, milk-like appearance (and a play on the words "milk of magnesia"), the drug has been associated with cardiac arrest,[51] but it still may be increasingly used off-label for anxiolytic and other medically unsubstantiated purposes.[45] Several propofol bottles—both opened and not—were found in his home.[45]
On June 30, Cherilyn Lee, a nurse practitioner who had worked as Jackson's nutritionist, said that he had asked her in May to provide propofol to help him sleep, but she refused. He told her he had been given the drug before for persistent insomnia, and that a doctor had said it was safe as long as he was being monitored. Lee said she received a telephone call from an aide to Jackson on June 21 to say that Jackson was ill, although she no longer worked for him. She reported overhearing Jackson complain that one side of his body was hot, the other side cold. She advised the aide to send Jackson to a hospital; Lee thought she recognized the symptoms, and suspected that Jackson was on propofol.[52][verification needed]
Arnold Klein said that Jackson used an anesthesiologist to administer propofol to help him sleep while he was on tour in Germany. The anesthesiologist would "take him down" at night and "bring him back up" in the morning during the HIStory World Tour of 1996 and 1997.[50]

Dolton, Illinois Mayor, Tiffany Henyard forcefully responded to her critics and claims of corruption during an INCLUSIVE interview with Roland Martin 😅
Oh, wait - that's NOT what the OG description read, ya massive sh1tl0rd, you! No...actually, it read [and VfB's screenshotting this for posterity!]:

2024 is the gift that will keep on giving so much, yore gunna get sick of the giving...so gibs 'till it hoitz!
We all know what one could say about Nina Brown, MZ. New Jacked City...I want to BUCK BREAK Roland 🦣
w e w 😅
Roland, either you got a deal on the most medicated butt plugs in existence, or else, you're dumber than the people whom actually believed in the narrative of Deliverance! 🤤
You sat there and let her Li'l Kim ass hit grand slams around yore fat head, not challenging even a single allegation - this is what you get from (((journalism))); the 'boss' engages in Wesson Oil parties all night, and when they arrive at 'work', there's a team of well-lubricated twinks to 'fill you in'...well, looks like they filled you up with packing foam, instead of dat sweet, sweet cream, brah 😁
See, Roland - you AREN'T a journalist; you're NOT even a stenographer...you're just a parrot 🦜
A parrot who does Shatner...better than Shatner 👽
Yore pauses are sofa king pregnant that they owe child support!
In fact, let's archive a couple of comments, because I could sit here all day doing this! 🤡🌎
Roland, you forgot to ask her about:
1. Her arrest for car theft.
2. Having a politial rival's house shot up
3. Firing the Police Chief
4. Locking the clerk out of her office
5. Refusing to allow the Council into government buildings
6. Closing down bars who refuse to support her
7. The lawsuits from local businesses
8. Refusal to release public records to the press
9. The Police cars being repossessed
10.Her being investigated bythe FBI
11. Section 8 fraud
12. Her food truck failing health standards
13. Her skating rink
14. Cutting the future Mayor's salary
15. 50% interest rate she agreed to on her city vehicle
16. Putting barricades up to block the car show, and telling the police to tow any cars there in order to get people to her event.
17. Hiring a registered offender as an inspector, and knowing he would have to go into homes with children and single women.
18. Prohibiting business owners from renewing their business license.
19 Prohibiting that Sista with 85,000 square feet shopping center with community programs to help single parents and the homeless.
20. Extorting business owners to contribute to her campaign fund and her events.
21. Having the 75 year old man arrested because of his differences of opinions.
22. And Keith Freeman being her married boyfriend ... allegedly
You have tanked your reputation in order to let her continue to spew lies. You should be ashamed, sir. There's nothing wrong with calling out corruption. Very disappointed. Don't know whether to think you were too lazy to know what she really did, or if you were too willing to support someone who shares your views even if they are corrupt.
Where’s the hard hitting questions ROLAND??? If she were to represent the GOP you would’ve held the her feet to the flames.
“False allezations” . No wonder she cannot properly address it; she cant even pronounce it correctly.
Just when you think you’ve hit rock bottom, Roland says: Hold my beer! 🍻
Now Roland, she’s stealing from a poor black community. The median income of Dolton is 24/k. How could you allow that to slide like this? This is why so many communities with black leaders struggle. Corruption has no color and they all need to be help accountable!
As a person with an accounting degree I can say that she doesn't even understand how basic finance works. Matter of fact she doesn't have a clue about anything.
This is called bad journalism folks.
Not paying bills doesn’t put you in a deficit, it puts you in debt. Spending more than your income/revenue is a deficit.
She was breaking into cars 6 years ago. She never changed, and is now just stealing from people she is supposed to represent. Horrible. The Feds need to step in.
It's laughable that she says she has no knowledge of the charity that BEARS HER NAME with countless social media videos of her at their events. Please don't give any credibility to this corrupt politician. She needs to be behind bars.
Like my husband always said, “You can’t fix stupid.” Roland you won the prize 🏆
She only cut her successor's salary. So basically, she gets $224k a year for the rest of her term but her replacement would only get $25k.[slightly edited]

EducatëdHillbilly™ - This might be the most overtly racist thing I’ve seen people say on TV…📺
Source: https://twitter.com/RobProvinc....e/status/17632622258
Possibly The Most Overtly Racist Segment Ever On MSNBC
The voting public, and especially the rural voting public, should brace themselves for an avalanche of mainstream media and punditry hate directed toward them in the months leading into the November election.
A Thursday the below MSNBC segment was somewhat shocking even for the mainstream in terms of the extent a whole demographic of Americans was viciously attacked stereotyped and labeled as 'all the same'. One online commenter rightly pointed out: "This might be the most overtly racist thing I’ve seen people say on TV."
University of Maryland political science professor Thomas Schaller and op-ed writer Paul Waldman were in MSNBC's "Morning Joe" studio to promote their new book titled, "White Rural Rage: The Threat to American Democracy". They repeatedly called Whites in the countryside and across the land "racist" and "anti-democracy".
"They are the most racist, xenophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-gay, geodemographic group in the country," Schaller said. "Second, they're the most conspiracist group. QAnon support and subscribers, election denialism, COVID denialism instead of scientific skepticism, Obama birtherism." So all that... applied to an entire race of people living in rural areas.
The aforementioned commenter "Educated Hillbilly" further highlighted that this particular segment is notable for being "far more in your face and blatant". He complained, "I have not seen anyone on TV say all black city people are XYZ this blatantly racist way and be accepted on a mainstream so and get support from everyone while saying it."
The authors continued their rant, with Schaller saying further of White rural people, "They don’t believe in an independent press, free speech."
"They’re most likely to say the president should be able to act unilaterally without any checks from Congress, or the courts or the bureaucracy. They're also the most strongly White nationalist and White Christian nationalist," Schaller said. "Fourth, they’re most likely to excuse or justify violence as an acceptable alternative to peaceful public discourse."
As for co-author Waldman, he called Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump a "conduit for [White rural voters'] rage and anger."
"All that [Trump] gave them was essentially a way to essentially give a big middle finger to Democrats, to people who live in cities and to the rest of the country," he said.
Sadly the road to November is likely be paved with much more of this elite corporate media racism unleashed on Trump supporters and "rural" or "poor" White people.

The examples are starting to pile up... just this week:
And speaking of a big "middle finger" - this is how Washington Post reports on Alabamans' legitimate concerns about where their tax-dollars go...

Blind item about Usher raping Justin Bieber when he first come into the industry as a pre teen and it lasting for years
What do you all think of this?
Today's Blind Items - The End Of The Storm Had a hard time coming up with a title to this one. Over the years I have written bits and pieces of the entirety of this story as they were told to me. Over the last week or two, it has all come together to the point where I don't even know where to begin. Go back almost a decade. You had this foreign born rising star in his early teens. He flies here to the US and meets one of his idols. Probably a permanent A lister. The idol is closeted and has sex with women but much prefers men. Well, young men. He made it very clear to the teen what he needed to do and the teen did it. Did it is probably the wrong term. The teen was raped. Repeatedly. By his idol. This went on for years. The teen was super confused. He was becoming an A+ lister. He is still pretty close to that now. Women were throwing themselves at him but his only sexual experiences had been with this singer who was raping him. I don't think our singer has ever really adjusted to that time period. He needs a lot of therapy and he is getting it. BUT, and this is a big but. The people he is getting therapy from are people who have ulterior motives. The biggest of those motives is money. Our singer is handing money over hand over fist. More exploitation is not what he needs. It will come out eventually and then he will be using more and end up in a death spiral. Another big issue in all of this are the ongoing legal troubles of the permanent A lister. His sexual history and partners are going to come out and it is going to drag the subject of this blind front and center.

Embattled south suburban politician Tiffany Henyard travelled to Washington, D.C. in an attempt to answer critics of her lavish spending, gridlocked government and questionable cancer charity. The interview raised more questions than it answered.
Henyard, who is the mayor of Dolton and supervisor of Thornton Township, denied involvement in the Tiffany Henyard Cares Foundation despite evidence to the contrary. “Someone made up a foundation,” Henyard told Roland Martin on his YouTube program. “They named it after me and they like the work that I do in the community.”
“You’re not aware of any work they’ve done, money they’ve raised, anything along those lines?” Martin asked Henyard. “Correct,” she responded.
However WGN Investigates reported Henyard frequently posted videos of herself promoting and attending Tiffany Henyard Cares events. “I just want people to know [the] Tiffany Henyard Cares Foundation is here and we will help anyone in need,” Henyard is heard saying in one video. “There’s no foundation in the State of Illinois moving like we’re moving and shaking like we doing,” Henyard claimed in a video.
Henyard’s top aide in both Dolton and Thornton Township, Keith Freeman, was also listed as the foundation’s registered agent. Thornton Township transferred $10,000 to the Tiffany Henyard Cares Foundation within weeks of its founding. Village and township employees and vehicles adorned with the charity’s logo and Henyard’s picture were also featured in social media posts.
Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s office ordered the foundation to immediately stop soliciting funds after it failed to respond to several letters demanding the legally required financial disclosures. The attorney general’s February 21 letter threatened legal action against the foundation’s officers for failure to comply.
WGN Investigates has also reported extensively on spending by Henyard, her entourage and political allies. Credit card records from Thornton Township show Henyard and other officials spent nearly $67,000 on trips to Portland, Austin, Atlanta and New York City in recent months.
In Atlanta, the group stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel and brought home a bill of $9,347. In New York the hotel bill came to $13,098. Airline records show everyone in the group frequently flies first class. Henyard was asked about the travel on Martin’s show and she claimed unspecified trips resulted in unspecified financial benefits to the governments she runs. When pressed, Henyard did say she would support new policies limiting luxury travel for officials.
Henyard had a sizable entourage with her in Washington, D.C. for the interview with Roland Martin, according to a person who was there. It’s unclear who paid for the travel and accommodations because the show does not pay for guest expenses. Henyard called questions about her spending and leadership style a “smear campaign.”
She has not responded to repeated requests for comment in recent weeks from WGN Investigates.

Trump Lawyer Argues ‘Appearance of Impropriety’ Is Enough to Disqualify Prosecutor
Lawyers argued about whether the prosecutor Fani Willis has an untenable conflict of interest in the Georgia election case; her side called the disqualification effort “desperate.”
A judge in the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald J. Trump heard final arguments on Friday on a motion to disqualify the prosecutor who brought the case, Fani T. Willis, on the ground that a romantic relationship she had with a subordinate created a conflict of interest.
With a historic criminal case against a former president on the line, lawyers for Mr. Trump and his co-defendants took turns assailing Ms. Willis. John B. Merchant III, who represents the defendant Michael Roman, said that if the court finds the prosecutors’ romance did not create a conflict of interest, “public confidence in the system will be shot.”
But Adam Abbate, a prosecutor in Ms. Willis’s office, called the defense’s effort to disqualify
Ms. Willis “a desperate attempt to remove a prosecutor from a case for absolutely no reason, other than harassment and embarrassment.”
Defense lawyers on Friday repeatedly asserted that the bar for disqualification should be relatively low, arguing that even the appearance of a conflict of interest should lead to Ms. Willis’s removal from the case because her actions had undermined public confidence in it.
The question of whether the defense needs to show an actual conflict or just an appearance of one could prove pivotal.
“We can demonstrate an appearance of a conflict of interest, and that is sufficient,” Mr. Merchant told the judge, Scott McAfee of Fulton County Superior Court.
Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Steven H. Sadow, picked up the theme, arguing that “once you have the appearance of impropriety,” the law in Georgia is clear: “That’s enough to disqualify.”
Mr. Sadow focused on a speech Ms. Willis made in January at a Black church in Atlanta, calling her remarks a “violation of professional rules of conduct.”
Her speech, at Big Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, came shortly after the conflict-of-interest motion was filed.
Ms. Willis, who is Black, suggested in the speech that the scrutiny of her romantic relationship with the prosecutor she hired to run the Trump case, Nathan Wade, was racist. Some of those comments she described as part of a conversation she had with God.
“It was a calculated determination by Ms. Willis to prejudice the defendants and their counsel,” Mr. Sadow said, adding, “Can you think of anything more that would heighten public condemnation of the defendant than alleging that the defense counsel and the defendants were making their motion based on race and religion?”
With Ms. Willis seated silently at the prosecution table, Mr. Abbate told Judge McAfee that appearance alone was not enough to disqualify her.
“The defense has to show an actual conflict,” Mr. Abbate said, adding that it had not done so in this case.
After Mr. Abbate sought to bolster his argument by citing a number of prior cases in which a conflict of interest had been found, Judge McAfee interjected that “a number of these cases seem to rely on appearance of impropriety.” But Mr. Abbate said that in each of the cases of disqualification that he cited, the courts found an “actual conflict” in addition to the appearance of impropriety.
The legal arguments of Mr. Trump and his allies were advanced by a lineup of veteran defense lawyers who seemed quite at ease, while Mr. Abbate had a more halting, and at times fumbling, presentation, relying more on his recitation of precedent and case law.
Regardless, Judge McAfee will be more interested in the substance of the legal questions, rather than the delivery style. He said after the arguments that he would rule within two weeks.
The hearing Friday allowed lawyers from the two sides to sum up their arguments over a salacious subplot to the election case — one that has already caused significant embarrassment and turmoil for Ms. Willis, the Fulton County district attorney. Details of her personal life have been spilled out in the Atlanta courthouse where she had hoped to put Mr. Trump and 14 co-defendants on trial as soon as this summer.
The stakes are high: If Ms. Willis is disqualified from the case, her entire office will be, too, and the case will probably be turned over to a district attorney from another jurisdiction. The new prosecutor could choose to continue the case as planned, modify the charges or drop them.
Disqualification would reduce the chances that a trial would begin before the November presidential election, in which Mr. Trump is expected to be the Republican nominee.
The relationship between Ms. Willis and Mr. Wade, an Atlanta-area lawyer she hired in November 2021 to manage the prosecution team, first came to light in January, in a motion filed by Ashleigh Merchant, a lawyer for Michael Roman, one of Mr. Trump’s co-defendants.
Ms. Merchant, who along with her husband, John Merchant, represents Mr. Roman, asserted that the romance began before Ms. Willis hired Mr. Wade. She also argued that Mr. Wade was unqualified for the high-profile job, for which he has been paid at least $650,000 so far.
Ms. Merchant claimed that Mr. Wade and Ms. Willis had engaged in “self-dealing,” because the couple went on vacations together that she said Mr. Wade had paid for.
In her filing on Jan. 8, Ms. Merchant cited Georgia case law in arguing that the situation as she laid it out met the standard for a disqualifying conflict of interest.
On Friday, Mr. Merchant told the judge that “we have here a very personal financial interest that’s been laid out in terms of money received by Ms. Willis, as a result of the scheme that she set up.”
Ms. Willis and Mr. Wade have acknowledged that they had a romantic relationship. But they have said that it began after Mr. Wade was hired, and that it ended before Mr. Trump and 18 of his allies were charged in August in a sweeping indictment that accuses them of conspiring to overturn Mr. Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election.
The Accusations Against Fani WillisThe election interference case in Georgia against former President Donald Trump has been buffeted by an effort to disqualify Fani Willis, the main prosecutor, over her romantic relationship with a colleague.
What to Know: A tense hearing was held in Georgia to decide whether Willis and her office should be removed from the prosecution. Here is what we learned during the first and second days of the proceedings.
The Accusations: Trump’s lawyers are hoping to convince a judge that Willis’s relationship with Nathan Wade, a lawyer she hired to manage the case, has created a conflict of interest that should be grounds for disqualifying Willis.
Willis’s Response: In a court filing and in a raw testimony, Willis said that her relationship with Wade began after she hired him to join the case and ended in 2023, arguing that the romance should not be a reason to disqualify her.
A Messy Diversion: Regardless of whether Willis is disqualified from leading the high-stakes case against Trump in Georgia, the extraordinary detour it has taken may have changed it fundamentally.
Ms. Willis said the couple roughly split the costs of the trips they took together, with Ms. Willis often using cash to pay back Mr. Wade for her share.
One defense lawyer, Richard A. Rice, Jr., accused the prosecutors during Friday’s hearing of living “Robin Leach’s lifestyle of the rich and famous” on their vacations.
But Mr. Abbate scoffed at that: “The evidence was she stayed at a DoubleTree in Napa” he said of Ms. Willis. “I don’t know that to be a lavish hotel.”
The judge held a series of hearings on the issue in February that felt at times like a mini-trial.
Mr. Wade took the stand, as did Ms. Willis, who pushed back angrily against Ms. Merchant’s questions. Ms. Willis described feeling loneliness after becoming the district attorney, the violent threats and racist messages she had received, and her frustration that the focus on her love life had distracted the nation’s attention from Mr. Trump and the 14 co-defendants who remain after four of those originally charged pleaded guilty.
At a hearing on Tuesday, the conflicting accounts of when the prosecutors’ romance began took center stage. Ms. Merchant called Terrence Bradley, a former law partner of Mr. Wade, to the stand, hoping to help prove that the relationship began before Mr. Wade was hired.
But Mr. Bradley delivered contradictory information. Entered into evidence was a text exchange he had with Ms. Merchant months earlier, in which he said that the relationship “absolutely” predated Mr. Wade’s hiring. But on the witness stand, he repeatedly said he had no knowledge of when the romance began.
The judge will have to decide which of Mr. Bradley’s accounts to believe as he weighs whether to disqualify the prosecutors.
At Friday’s hearing, Mr. Sadow said Mr. Bradley’s text messages showed that the relationship began before Mr. Wade’s hiring. But the judge seemed uncertain.
“Is it ever definitively shown how he knew this and that he actually did know it?” Judge McAfee asked.
Another witness, a former friend and employee of Ms. Willis named Robin Yeartie, also testified that the relationship predated Mr. Wade’s hiring. But under cross-examination, she said that she had left the D.A.'s office on bad terms and was no longer Ms. Willis’s friend.
Mr. Abbate on Friday dismissed both Mr. Bradley and Ms. Yeartie as people who had an ax to grind with the prosecutors.
There is already some precedent within the Trump case for disqualification. In July 2022, a judge blocked Ms. Willis from developing a case against Burt Jones, a fake Trump elector in Georgia in 2020, because Ms. Willis had hosted a fund-raiser for one of Mr. Jones’s political rivals. A year and a half after the disqualification, no replacement prosecutor has yet been named to continue investigating Mr. Jones, who is now Georgia’s lieutenant governor.
Pete Skandalakis, the executive director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, said in a recent interview that the current situation was different from the one involving Mr. Jones and suggested that it could move more quickly because an indictment has already been handed up.

A version of this article appears in print on March 2, 2024, Section A, Page 20 of the New York edition with the headline: Trump Lawyer Urges Willis’s Disqualification.
Our Coverage of the Trump Case in GeorgiaFormer President Donald Trump and 18 others face a sprawling series of charges for their roles in attempting to interfere in the state’s 2020 presidential election.
RICO Charges: At the heart of the indictment in Georgia are racketeering charges under the state Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Here’s why such charges could prove to be a powerful tool for the prosecution.
Who Else Was Indicted?: Rudy Giuliani, who led legal efforts in several states to keep the former president in power, and Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff, were among the 18 Trump allies charged in the case.
Plea Deals: Sidney K. Powell, Kenneth Chesebro and Jenna Ellis — three lawyers indicted with Trump in the case — pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors against the former president.
Lt. Gov. Burt Jones: Since the indictment of Trump and his allies, a question has gone unanswered: Would charges also be filed against the longtime Trump supporter? It is now up to a state agency to find a special prosecutor to investigate him.

Medical examiner's report on the 2001 death of Lori Klausutis
https://www.washingtonpost.com..../context/medical-exa
Trump has tweeted multiple times in recent days to falsely suggest the congressman-turned-television host Joe Scarborough murdered an employee whose death was ruled an accident. Read the story here:
https://www.washingtonpost.com..../politics/florida-fa
https://context-cdn.washington....post.com/notes/prod/
https://www.nwfdailynews.com/s....tory/news/2017/12/11
The Congressional record clearly indicates that on July 19, 2001, U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough, a Pensacola resident representing Florida’s First District, was present and accounted for in Washington, D.C.
READ: PDFs of Daily News print editions from 2001 >> http://site.nwfdailynews.com/docs/KLAU2.pdf
On the day an employee, Lori Klausutis, died tragically inside his Fort Walton Beach satellite office, the young Republican congressman engaged in feisty debate with Democrat Anthony Weiner and cast several votes, including one taken not long before the U.S. House adjourned at 9:49 p.m.
Scarborough was hundreds of miles away from Fort Walton Beach when Klausutis, a woman he later told reporters he hardly knew, died. Yet 17 years later, the mention of her name never fails to drag Scarborough into conversations laden with conspiracy theories.
President Donald Trump didn’t even have to mention Klausutis by name in a Nov. 29 tweet that ignited the most recent social media firestorm to engulf Scarborough. The tweet began as commentary on NBC’s firing of talk show host Matt Lauer following allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.
“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin?” Trump asked. “And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!”
Had the president researched the matter, he would have learned that in 2001 the Northwest Florida Daily News had worked for more than a month to get to the bottom of the death, publishing 10 news stories and two editorials — both critical of the way the death case was being handled.
The newspaper uncovered enough unsettling details about the investigation of Klausutis’ death to have helped push a conspiracy narrative along.
But the twisted road to the truth ultimately led to a definitive conclusion: Klausutis died of a blow to the head that occurred when she collapsed due to a heart palpitation and hit her head on a desk as she fell unconscious to the floor.
Trump’s “unsolved mystery” was, in fact, solved.
‘It’s inappropriate’
To contemplate otherwise is to dishonor the memory of Lori Klausutis and disrespect her family, said Paul Lux, who had known her and worked with her in Okaloosa County’s Young Republican Club.
“As soon as I heard that, I was wondering ‘Why would anyone bring that up.’ It’s inappropriate because of all the circumstances around it,” Lux said of Trump’s tweet. “There was nothing sneaky or underhanded about her death. I know the president has had his share of back and forth with Joe Scarborough, but dragging Lori’s family back into this was never a good thing, in my opinion.”
Here’s how events unfolded:
At about 8:30 a.m. on July 20, 2001, Juanita Marie Bergmann, a Destin resident and former nurse, and her husband, Andreas Bergmann, arrived at Scarborough’s Fort Walton Beach office at 348 Miracle Strip Parkway to discuss a work permit issue. They found the door of the office open and the lights on, and the body of Klausutis, a Scarborough constituent services coordinator, lying on the floor next to a desk.
Juanita Bergmann checked the pulse of the young woman while her husband called 911. She said she saw no indication of a head injury and no indication of foul play.
“She’d obviously had a seizure,” Bergmann would tell the Daily News. “My assumption was she had a seizure and it caused her to go into cardiac arrest.”
Fort Walton Beach Police Chief Steve Hogue said on the day the body was discovered that preliminary investigation hadn’t turned up any evidence of foul play or trauma to Klausutis’ body, nor were there any outward indications of suicide.
An avid runner and apparently in great physical shape, Klausutis had experienced past medical problems, Hogue said. An autopsy was to be conducted and her medical records examined as part of the death investigation.
From Washington, Scarborough sent a statement of regret for Klausutis’ passing. A spokesman said the congressman was flying into Pensacola on the day the body was found, but the trip was a scheduled weekend visit to see his sons.
That first day, there seemed nothing out of the ordinary other than the terribly unfortunate death of a 28-year-old woman who everyone that knew her seemed quite fond of.
But after July 20, the flow of information slowed dramatically. Official documents were withheld and Associate Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Berkland failed to release his cause of death findings on the date he said he would.
It wouldn’t be until late August when, under pressure from the Daily News, Fort Walton Beach Police and Berkland finally released documents that told the whole story about the Klausutis case.

More and more people from Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ inner circle are speaking out!
In a new interview with The Art of Dialogue on Thursday, the rapper’s former bodyguard Gene Deal had a ton of tea to spill about him, including insight into his time with Cassie Ventura, who filed and then shocking settled a rape case against her ex-boyfriend earlier this month. As you may recall from the dramatic filing, the 37-year-old singer claimed she was forced to have sex with male prostitutes while the artist would film the interactions and pleasure himself, among many other disturbing allegations. But now, Gene is arguing this wasn’t the full story!
In the new chat, the security guard alleged that the 54-year-old forced his then-girlfriend to hire those male sex workers for himself — he just didn’t want anyone to be able to track them back to him. Why does he think this?? Addressing “rumors” that have plagued the Last Night crooner for years, Gene claims he learned quickly when to give Puff Daddy his space when they were out together, such as when he stumbled across the celeb allegedly purchasing “butt plugs” or when they would frequent an apparent gay hotspot:
“I knew I should wait outside of Turkish baths for him. You know what they do in a Turkish baths? … That’s where a lot of gay men meet, and they all take hot baths together. To each his own though, right?”
Oh, damn. This is like Will Smith all over again!
Related: Tiffany Haddish Addresses DUI In First Sighting Since Arrest!
Doubling down on this sexuality speculation, Gene added even more alleged claims:
“That’s a lot of s**t that these guys get into when they start having certain meetings with certain people and they meet them at the Turkish baths, and they do they meetings and they meet their people in those types of situations where they’re comfortable at. So, they don’t have to worry about their indiscretions coming out. … So, that’s why, you know, twice, sometimes three times a week, me and the driver be outside, he’ll run into the Turkish bath.”
Three times a week?!? Wow! Gene then teased more unconfirmed allegations:
“You got that big ass tub at home but you wanna come [here]??”
😅 LOLz! 😅
Obviously, nothing about this has been confirmed, and Diddy has been very open about denying all of Cassie’s other allegations so far, so we’d expect a similar reaction to this alleged scoop. Either way, this is probably the last thing the musician wants to deal with amid his ongoing scandal! You can hear more from the bodyguard (below):

Matisyahu's fed up with the lack of concern for the hostages in Gaza ... going on an expletive-filled tirade against perceived antisemitic behavior.
We caught up with the singer-songwriter Tuesday when he decided to busk on the street for the first time in 25 years ... belting out songs in the cold on the heels of venues canceling his shows.
Remember ... we spoke to Matis last week after his shows in Tucson, Arizona and Santa Fe, New Mexico were canceled because of last-minute safety concerns. Matisyahu was convinced both cancellations were the result of his views on the war in Gaza.
Clearly, Matis is tired of relying on venues and decided to take his music to the street ... saying he just wants to share his message of "love" with audiences.
Despite saying love's his purpose, Matisyahu admits he's also upset with the situation in the Middle East -- and his feelings of love quickly manifested into a diatribe on double standards.
Matis focused on the hostages in Gaza and slammed people who don't seem super concerned about them. He's got a theory on why this is ... chalking up the apathy to antisemitism.
Matisyahu fired off a list of other moments in history where Jewish people faced hardship and overcame ... before firing off the rallying cry, "We will f***ing win."
He followed all this up with a performance of "No Woman, No Cry" -- the hit song popularized by Bob Marley -- belting out the song with electric guitar accompaniment.
Seems like Matis is turning the world into his concert hall ... so, maybe do a double-take next time you're walking by a street performer.

There were so many defendants due to Mr. Jones allegedly feeling as if these people either participated in the alleged crimes or allowed them and refused to do anything to stop them despite having the power to do so.
Also, the guy who was allegedly shot in the bathroom of the recording studio was allegedly Justin Combs’ friend, if I’m not mistaken. That guy, Justin, and P. Devil got into it and P. Devil took the argument to the restroom with the guy, where the shooting allegedly took place. Allegedly, Lil Rod was the one who had to help the guy and called the ambulance and then P. devil made him lie to the police allegedly.
Also, also, the incident with Yung Miami’s cousin was worse than how I described it. I tried to keep it tame and not vulgar, but that woman went out of her way to mess with that man after he’d made it clear that he didn’t want her touching him and doing inappropriate things to him.
ANYWAYS
Mr. Jones went for everybody in this lawsuit and if they all did what he is alleging that they did, they need to be behind bars and they need to give him the money that’s rightfully due to him.
Enough is enough, some people are tired and when pushed too far or taken advantage of too much, they will fight back.
This man deserves the same attention and support that Cassie got when she filed her lawsuit against P. Devil Combs.
I said it before, that I believe that there were male victims but that they didn’t want to come out because they saw how some people treated the women. Imagine how many men decided to take thier pain to the grave without seeking the justice they deserve because of how society and our community treats people when they blow the whistle and come out and expose these celebrities. It should not be that way; we shouldn’t make our society so hostile and lacking in empathy that people would rather DIE with their pain and trauma instead of try and get justice.

Woman applauds removal of Illinois judge who overturned man’s sexual assault conviction, saying it left her ‘broken’
Feb. 27, 2024, 5:18 PM EST
By Maggie Vespa, Halle Lukasiewicz and David K. Li
The woman at the center of the case in which an Illinois judge overturned the conviction of a man accused of sexual assault says the 2022 decision left her “broken” — and she applauded the judge’s ouster.
In a scathing 33-page ruling released Friday, the Illinois Courts Commission, a state oversight board, removed Adams County Judge Robert Adrian from the bench.
Adrian sparked outrage two years ago by vacating 18-year-old Drew Clinton’s sexual assault conviction, a charge stemming from a graduation party in May 2021 in Quincy, Illinois, where he was accused of assaulting Cameron Vaughan, then 16.
“I cried. I cried so much,” Vaughan, who goes by "Cammy" and is now 18, told NBC News on Sunday about reading the commission’s ruling. “I was just — it was unbelievable.”
After a three-day bench trial in October 2021, Adrian originally found Clinton guilty of one count of criminal sexual assault, a felony carrying a mandatory minimum sentence of four years in prison.
A few days into 2022, in a stunning move from the bench, Adrian announced that he was reversing himself and letting Clinton walk free. According to court transcripts, Adrian said the defendant’s nearly five months in county jail was “plenty of punishment.”
Adrian said: “By law, the Court is supposed to sentence this young man to the Department of Corrections. This Court will not do that. That is not just. There is no way for what happened in this case that this teenager should go to the Department of Corrections. I will not do that.”
Vaughan, who had prepared a victim impact statement that she wasn’t allowed to read, said she ran from the courtroom in tears as her father followed. She said the attack had an immediate impact on her life.
“Because what [Clinton] did was not right. I mean, it ruined me,” she said. Vaughan, who now works for an optometrist in Joplin, Missouri, added that Adrian’s reversal compounded the trauma.
“There was no new evidence, nothing new to make him change his mind,” she said. “I was very depressed and on medications for trying to help with my nightmares. And I was just very, very sad.”
In a separate interview Monday, Adrian said he stood by his reversal but clarified his rationale. He said he vacated Clinton’s guilty verdict not to keep him out of prison but because he’d reconsidered the evidence and decided prosecutors had failed to prove their case.
“Why would I want to send a person who’s not guilty to the Department of Correction? Of course, I’ll reverse,” he said. “There’s a lot of judges that wouldn’t. They’d wait and say, ‘Oh, well, if I made the mistake, the appellate court [will] straighten it out.’”
Asked whether he’d do anything differently with 20/20 hindsight, Adrian didn’t waver.
“I’d explain it different,” he said. “But I still wouldn’t send him to the Department of Correction. [Clinton] was not guilty, and that’s the whole key. See, that’s what nobody wants to do. Nobody wants to actually look at the evidence in the case.”
He added: “I made a mistake, and I corrected the mistake. So now, you know, you want to chastise me for correcting my mistake, go ahead. But I can’t help but people are human. We make mistakes. I correct mine.”
The Courts Commission blasted the new rationale, writing that Adrian "intentionally subverted the law and then lied about it under oath to serve his own interests” and that “we have already concluded that respondent reversed his guilty finding to circumvent the law."
"Nor do we accept respondent’s contention that he made a mistake in finding Clinton guilty," the commission wrote. "Respondent claimed that he began to consider whether he had mistakenly found Clinton guilty immediately after the trial, but then he did nothing for months while Clinton remained in jail.”
Vaughan maintains she was assaulted by Clinton, who she says put a pillow over her face while she slept on a friend’s couch after drinking. Clinton declined to comment for this article. He maintains his innocence through his attorney.
Even though the system didn’t produce her desired result at trial, Vaughan said she considers Adrian’s dismissal another form of justice.
“He hurt me,” she said about Adrian, whose removal was effective immediately. “He changed my life, and nothing happened to him. He needs to see what he did to me, how he made me feel and know that I’m the reason you’re not a judge anymore.”
I believe that the Op-Ed was an EPIC FAIL, and pulled out the September Surprise.

Candace Owens calls out the pr0n industry and the (((homosexual banking mafia))) immediately throws a collective hissy fit:
This is utterly insane.
I tweeted that porn is harming men in our society and this person has interpreted that as an attack on Jews.
This is an example of clinical insanity.
There is no other explanation.

What's that, you say? Oh, it's just this: The Porn Monopoly; let's do an alternate time capsule 💊
We are all familiar with how a few companies are massive monopolies over entire industries. For instance, virtually every consumer brand is owned by one of these 9 companies.
But, did you know that it isn’t only consumer brands where one winner has indeed taken it all? Let me introduce you to a company called MindGeek.
MindGeek says it is “A leader in Web Design, IT, Web Development, and SEO”. But deep down, what is it?
MindGeek is a porn company. Not just any porn company — THE porn company. Some of their subsidiaries: Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn, PornMD, PornIQ, Peeperz, GayTube, Tube8, XTube, Babes.com, Brazzers, Digital Playground, Reality Kings, Twistys, Men.com, Mofos, Sextube, MyDirtyHobby, Webcams.com, Playboy’s online and TV operations, and MUCH MORE.
They have a virtual monopoly on online pornography. They have more traffic than Amazon, Facebook, or Twitter, and are likely in the top 3 companies in the world in terms of total bandwidth consumed.
The company was founded in 2004, but their claim to fame was the crash in the porn business that reached its peak in the late 2000s and early 2010s. From 2009 to 2015 they went on a buying spree, buying up every single porn website they could find at dirt cheap prices.
Ironically, this monopoly has created some strangely perverse incentives. Because MindGeek owns both porn aggregator sites as well as porn production sites, actors and actresses that work in MindGeek’s porn production business will regularly see their films hosted illegally on the aggregator sites. Of course, MindGeek doesn’t mind this, as they make money from advertisements anyway, and the actors and actresses obviously suffer.
This perverse incentive structure is in fact blamed for the downfall of the traditional porn industry. Because MindGeek owns everything, and therefore does not bother to try to remove production content from aggregator sites, production porn has continued to tank, while amateur uploads have continued to gain more prominence. Furthermore, no one can speak out about this, because if you piss of MindGeek, you are essentially done working in the industry (since MindGeek owns or has connections to every production company).
As you might imagine, all these shady practices have led to a few legal issues, ranging from tax evasion to antitrust lawsuits. But ultimately, MindGeek doesn’t care that much, because they are raking in billions. Sadly, I couldn’t find an exact figure on their revenues or profits 😟
There are some funny aspects of MindGeek as a result of them trying to put on a “non-porn” image (ala their website). If you look at their GlassDoor reviews, you’ll see people say things like “If you’re interested in the ‘Content Formatter’ job, just be aware you’re basically a glorified child porn screener, and you will be watching disgusting videos all day.” They have a solid 2.9/5 on GlassDoor.
So, just know the next time you choose between YouPorn, RedTube, PornHub, and Brazzers, it’s all the same. MindGeek owns us all.

Well, YOU and your band of cosmopolitan thieves BROKE IT...now you gotta BUY IT 💳
The only way to fix the broken system is to remove the treasonous supremacist Jews & other traitors who broke it. Start with the treasonous dual Israelis like Mayorkas. Everyone who researches the border invasion will find out we're being invaded because of the treasonous conspiring supremacist Jews who are behind the invasion. Jews hijacked America which is why Biden's administration is full of treasonous Jews. Mayorkas was asked about the border crisis and this is what he said -“It certainly is a crisis and we don’t bear responsibility for a broken system, and we’re dealing a tremendous amount within that broken system,” he said. “But fundamentally, Congress is the only one who can fix it.”
1st Treasonous Jews like him broke the system.
2nd Jews flooded America with the invaders and caused the crisis.
3rd Congress is controlled and paid off by the Jewish lobby group AIPAC with Americans' stolen tax money.

Who is Nathan Wade ?
Nathan Wade is an attorney licensed to practice in all of Georgia’s courts. His legal career began with his appointment to Marietta's municipal court in 2011, a milestone that marked him as the city's first Black male judge. Despite three unsuccessful attempts to secure a position on the Cobb County Superior Court bench, Wade's professional journey took a significant turn when he assumed the role of special prosecutor in the case against former President Donald Trump last year.
Beyond his prosecutorial responsibilities, Wade maintains a private practice specializing in contract law, family law, personal injury cases, and criminal defense. His legal acumen extends to his roles as an associate municipal court judge and a pro hac state court judge in Cobb County, according to information provided on his firm's website.
