The non-binary former Biden official fired after he was caught stealing luggage at an airport had a hand in crafting policy that would prevent 'unaffirming' parents of transgender grade school students from knowing about their child's gender identity.

Sam Brinton, 35, who uses 'they/their' pronouns, no longer has their Department of Energy job after they were accused of stealing luggage in two separate incidents.

Prior to becoming one of the federal government's first non-binary officials, they worked at the LGBTQ youth suicide prevention group The Trevor Project.

While there, Brinton helped craft 'Model School District Policy on Suicide Prevention' that included guidelines on telling parents about LGBTQ+ children.

The policy paper was done in conjunction with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the American School Counselor Association and the National Association of School Psychologists.

It establishes rules against what schools can keep their parents informed on and gives school mental health professionals the decision of what they should be informed about regarding their children.

It reads: 'While parents and guardians need to be informed and actively involved in decisions regarding the student's welfare, the school mental health professional should ensure that the parents' actions are in the best interest of the student (e.g., when a student is LGBTQ and living in an unaffirming household).'

They go on to argue that parents should not be informed of their child's gender identity or sexual orientation 'unless the student consents.'

It continues by saying that research shows LGBTQ youth are at a higher risk of suicide, depression or drug use if their identity is not supported by their families.

Months before the first COVID-19 vaccine began to be distributed in the United States, the Nation of Islam (NOI) had already widely disseminated its directive that Black people refuse the vaccine. Over a year later, the NOI and its leading members have continued their unrelenting promotion of anti-vaccine messages in social media posts, print materials, sermons and beyond. More recently, anti-vaccine advocacy has led NOI members to collaborate with and be promoted by various individuals and groups outside of the NOI, including conspiracy theorists and QAnon proponents.
Despite sometimes holding significantly different views about other aspects of the pandemic or their ideologies more broadly, a shared commitment to protesting the vaccine, as well as a distrust of the government and mainstream media, has facilitated these joint efforts. Through all of this, the NOI has exploited legitimate concerns and distrust about the history of medical experimentation on marginalized communities in the United States in order to promote conspiratorial claims about a government-sponsored depopulation plot that targets Black people.
Background
Advocating against vaccines is a familiar strategy for the NOI. In the 1960s, NOI leader Elijah Muhammad instructed his followers to reject the polio vaccine. In the mid-2010s, the NOI revived its anti-vaccine advocacy under leader Louis Farrakhan with a focus on the disproven allegation that vaccines are linked to autism in children. Early in the coronavirus pandemic, NOI leaders and members again began to revisit the topic of vaccines, including promoting conspiratorial claims that the COVID-19 vaccine was part of an agenda to kill Black people.
On July 4, 2020, Farrakhan delivered a highly-publicized speech in which he instructed Black people in the U.S. and around the world: “Don’t take the vaccines…Don’t let them vaccinate you, with their history of treachery through vaccines, through medication.” He claimed that the vaccines were part of a depopulation plot sponsored by the U.S. government, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Bill and Melinda Gates, among others. “We will not accept your vaccine,” Farrakhan continued, “because we’re not accepting death.” Farrakhan further claimed that any attempt to force Black people to take the vaccine would be considered “a declaration of war.” Within days, the speech had received over one million views online.
In subsequent weeks and months, quotations from the speech were repurposed as hashtags and slogans plastered on the NOI’s website, social media accounts, and other online and print materials, including in the group’s weekly newspaper, The Final Call. Specialized brochures urging readers to heed Farrakhan’s warnings about the vaccine were distributed alongside The Final Call. Before its Twitter account was suspended in 2021 for violating the platform’s policies, the Nation of Islam Research Group, known for producing some of the NOI’s most virulently antisemitic content, posted numerous graphics warning against the vaccine, which were further shared on other NOI-affiliated accounts and platforms.
NOI members at all levels of the organization have since propagated the anti-vaccine messages. Ishmael Muhammad, the NOI’s Student National Assistant Minister, has frequently reiterated Farrakhan’s instructions during the NOI’s nationally-broadcast weekly sermons. “The Minister has made it clear to us that we’re not taking their vaccine. It’s not up for debate. It’s a divine order from God,” he stated in January 2021. During another weekly sermon later that same month, NOI Executive Council member and Student Minister Wesley Muhammad blamed Jews for the pandemic and warned against trusting the “vaccine mafia.”
Collaborations to Spread Anti-Vaccine Message
In addition to tactics which utilize the NOI’s own publications and social media channels, the NOI has also spread its anti-vaccine propaganda through collaborations with or promotion from a wide range of individuals and groups over the past year. Some of these individuals and groups have a more mainstream following while others pander to a more extreme audience. These collaborative activities though have provided a platform for NOI members to grow their audiences and serve to seemingly legitimize NOI’s false and misleading claims.

⁣Magda Szabó was a Hungarian writer, arguably Hungary's foremost female novelist. She also wrote dramas, essays, studies, memories and poetry.

Born in Debrecen, Szabó graduated at the University of Debrecen as a teacher of Latin and of Hungarian. She received several prizes in Hungary, and her works have been published in 42 countries. In 2003, she was the winner of the French literary prize Prix Femina Étranger for the best foreign novel.

Her novel Abigél was popularized through a much-loved television series in 1978. Abigél was also chosen as the sixth most popular novel at the Hungarian version of Big Read. Her three other novels that were in the top 100 are Für Elise , An Old-Fashioned Story , and The Door .

We will start by studying the assassination of JFK, but by the end we will see that all the stories about all the Kennedys are of a piece: nothing you think you know, all the way back to 1944, is true.

It has long been clear to almost all intelligent people who study the evidence that the Warren Commission was a cover-up. Something like 80% of those polled admit they don’t believe the Warren Commission report and we must assume that the other 20% are very gullible. Some have also studied
the so-called conspiracy theories—the alternate theories, that is. But it should be equally clear that the alternate theories are, in most ways, just as full of holes and just as poorly constructed as the standard theory. Like the Warren Commission report, the alternate theories also read like propaganda. The style of all counter-stories, in whatever form, has been just as fishy as the Warren Commission story. To those of us trained to look at form as well as content, the counter-stories also read like a script, or like a transparent effort at mind control.

Let me suggest to you that both sets of stories were created mainly as misdirection and disinformation. This is not to say that all alternate theorists are controlled by the government or by anyone else. It is only to suggest that alternate theories—in all forms but one—seem to be encouraged by the government and the powers that be. We have always assumed that alternate theories would be frowned upon or discouraged, and yet we have never seen much real effort at suppression. In fact, in most cases, the dissemination of alternate theories would seem to be abetted by the mainstream, not suppressed. You should ask yourself if the alternate theories and theorists might be selling the main lines of the desired story just as fully as the standard theory. For the powers that be, it may not matter whether you believe there was one shooter or many, or even whether you believe that the CIA or FBI was involved. The only thing that is critical is that you believe Kennedy was assassinated that day, and the alternate theories sell that fact with even more emphasis and gusto than the Warren Commission. 1

As it turns out, the alternate theories make a much greater hero out of Kennedy than the standard theory, and it may be that this is a welcome side-effect to the real conspirators.

The BRICS group, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, is really making waves in the global economy. By 2024, they've added some new members, making them even more powerful. This is a big deal, especially with the growing demand for oil and rare-earth metals, which are super important for tech and energy. As the global economic scene changes, BRICS is stepping up as a strong alternative to the Western-dominated financial systems, looking to shake up how global trade works.

As of 2024, the BRICS countries hold about 42% of the world's proven oil and gas reserves. That's around 1.5 trillion barrels of oil and 200 trillion cubic meters of natural gas, according to the BP Statistical Review of World Energy. The U.S. Geological Survey says China alone produces about 60% of the global supply of these elements, with Brazil and India also contributing significantly. These metals are essential for everything from electronics and renewable energy tech to military hardware. This dominance means BRICS can really impact global trade. By controlling such a large share of these critical resources, they can influence prices and ensure member countries have what they need for economic growth.

This could shake up supply chains and reduce the influence of traditional suppliers like the U.S. and Australia. As the BRICS alliance gears up for its big summit in October 2024, oil and rare-earth metals are going to be hot topics. They're planning to talk about trade agreements that make it easier to exchange these vital resources among the member countries. They might also look at updating old geological trade deals to fit the current geopolitical scene.

This focus on resource management shows that BRICS wants to be a major player in global resource governance. Leaders like Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are probably going to push for better cooperation in managing energy and mineral resources. Boosting trade among BRICS members in mineral resources is another big focus. By working together, they aim to keep supplies steady and prices stable.
