Mexico didn’t have much of a drug problem before the last 10 years, and you want to keep it that way. So you don’t want to give any excuse to the drug traffickers to be able legally to addict young people.

QUESTION: But in the United States there [is] more and more tolerance for marijuana, right?

Minneapolis - A man was killed last night after being pushed onto the track of the path of an oncoming train.

There were reports of an altercation, and MPD confirms they are investigating the death as a homicide. Suspect was reported as a Black man, medium build, white t-shirt, black pants, red shoes with white bottoms, royal blue blanket around his shoulders. Occurred at 5th and 1st street last night.

In a press release, police said that officials from Minneapolis police, Metro Transit police and the fire department were called to the Hennepin Avenue/ Warehouse District Station near 5th Street and 1st Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Officials believe that two men were fighting on the platform when one of them fell onto the tracks into the path of an oncoming train.

The person was struck and emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police have not released the name of the man killed, and have not said if any arrests have been made.

A homicide investigation is underway.

Now, having said all that...am I advocationg that we don't need to find and/or utilize alternate energy sources? Hardly. Oil / gas seems to be the best resources to use in industry and transportation. What I am advocating is that we begin to use other sources of energy for our personal / home use.

Solar panels are now performing better than ever before.

Windmills are a great source of natural, non-wasteful energy.

Sugar cane...ahhh...if I'd only tried a bit harder to set up some sort of importing for this resource...I have had plans to import sugar cane and to produce cane sugar for mass consumption. Cane sugar, if I recall correctly, is a natural sugar that is readily metabolized by the human body, without the deadly payload of the sugar substitutes, and minus the empty carbohydrates of granulated sugar.

Guess what?

It turns out that the waste products from sugar cane can be manufactured into a form of ethanol that is SEVEN TIMES MORE POTENT THAN CORN ETHANOL!

Imagine that.

Now, you're probably wondering why I'm giving out such a lucrative idea...here's why:

I don't have the requisite capital available to begin such a venture; however, I know that there are some out there who DO.

Questions and outage are growing across London after a man who ended up in London’s River Thames following police firing a Taser in a bid to detain him died yesterday.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) confirmed the man, in his early 40s, had passed away in hospital.

On Saturday morning, police were called to Chelsea Bridge Road, west London after receiving reports that a man was armed with a screwdriver and shouting. He was rescued from the water and taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The IOPC, the police watchdog, said on Sunday the man, aged in his early 40s, had died in hospital and that an inquiry was under way.

IOPC director Steve Noonan said: “We have spoken to the man’s family to express our sincere condolences and explain our involvement. Our sympathies remain with them at this terrible time. Our independent investigation is under way into the police actions at the bridge and we have begun gathering and reviewing evidence.”
