It’s not just a growing sect of top Democrats—the chronically online left wants Biden out, and they are only semi-ironically embracing Vice President Kamala Harris and all her quirks and lore to succeed him.

Each day, we continue to live through unprecedented times (read: an unending season of Veep), but Tuesday somehow felt especially unprecedented. In the wake of what’s been recognized as a disastrous, potentially presidential bid-ending debate performance, President Biden is facing mounting pressure to step down from the ticket. On Wednesday, a report from the New York Times even claimed he is “seriously considering” whether to continue in the race, with the party convention just weeks away.

Before that, Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) became the first Democrat in Congress to tell him to step down on Tuesday, Nancy Pelosi called his presidential fitness a legitimate question, and, according to CNN, more than two dozen current and former Democratic officials, donors, and longtime Biden allies want him out, as well. That’s all to say, the onslaught of memes embracing Vice President Kamala Harris to top the ticket didn’t fall out of a coconut tree—they exist in the context of all in which we live and what came before us.

OK, let me back up. In tandem with the minute-by-minute updates about how concerned top Democrats are with Biden and his tanking poll numbers, you’re probably seeing a lot about Harris right now. Namely, in addition to the iconic 2019 video of her singing “Wheels on the Bus” in a random, wholly made-up melody, you’re probably seeing, err, references to her now-famous May 2023 remarks that go something like this:

My mother used to—she would give us a hard time sometimes, and she would say to us, “I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people. You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” (Laughs.)
You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.

So, that’s… the context in which you are probably seeing posts like these right now: [see these tweets at the thumbnail URL]

There’s definitely a frenetic energy surrounding the Biden White House today, as we await updates on just how seriously (or not seriously?) his campaign is taking the growing push for him to step aside. The official line remains that he’s the Democratic Party nominee. But at the same time, we have Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC)—Biden-Harris campaign co-chair—telling MSNBC he “will support” Harris if Biden “were to step aside,” and Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Summer Lee (D-PA) suggesting something could happen, and would happen very quickly. “If our president decides this is not a pathway forward for him, we have to move very quickly. There’s not going to be time for a primary. That time is past. The vice president is the obvious choice,” Lee said. “She’s sitting right there. She’s already been in the White House.” Indeed, much can be said of Harris—but it simply can’t be said that she or her potential presidential bid fell out of a coconut tree.

My unsolicited two cents is that clearly none of what’s happening is ideal but, as many have pointed out, the vice president is the de facto backup nominee. And if Biden’s replaced by Harris, it’s likely the race would immediately shift to Roe v. Wade—Trump’s weakest issue, and the one that Harris has been leading on—instead of whether Biden has dementia. Beleaguered by crimes and scandals, the Trump team’s only real lines of attack thus far have been Biden’s age and Hunter Biden’s, err, antics. With Harris at the top of the ticket, the Trump campaign would have to come up with a new strategy quickly.

I can’t stress enough how hypothetical all of this is right now. In the meantime, as we weigh whether a President Harris is possible, major questions loom: Has this administration adequately set her up for success or to be sufficiently perceived as a leader? Who would be her running-mate, and would it be a certain, beloved midwest governor? Would we be treated to a D.C. presidential monument that reads, “You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” Does anyone have eyes on Hillary Clinton at this moment??? For now, all we can do is sit back, live through what might just be #herstory, and consume some more coconut tree memes.

The Biscuit Basin area of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is closed following a hydrothermal explosion Tuesday morning, park officials said in a news release and post on X.

Biscuit Basin, its parking lot and boardwalks – about 2 miles northwest of the Old Faithful geyser – are temporarily closed for safety reasons, officials added in the post.

No injuries were reported after the incident, which occurred near the Sapphire Pool around 10 a.m. local time. Investigators have yet to determine how much damage has occurred.

“Hydrothermal explosions are violent and dramatic events resulting in the rapid ejection of boiling water, steam, mud, and rock fragments,” according to the US Geological Survey.

They “occur where shallow interconnected reservoirs of fluids with temperatures at or near the boiling point underlie thermal fields. These fluids can rapidly transition to steam if the pressure suddenly drops. Since vapor molecules take up much more space than liquid molecules, the transition to steam results in significant expansion and blows apart surrounding rocks and ejects debris,” the agency says.

The park has experienced such explosions in the past.

“Porkchop Geyser, in Norris Geyser Basin, experienced an explosion in 1989, and a small event in Norris Geyser Basin was recorded by monitoring equipment on April 15, 2024. An explosion similar to that of today also occurred in Biscuit Basin on May 17, 2009,” a joint release from the park and the USGS said.

But today’s explosion does not indicate a volcanic eruption is imminent, the release added: “Monitoring data show no changes in the Yellowstone region. Today’s explosion does not reflect activity within (the) volcanic system, which remains at normal background levels of activity. Hydrothermal explosions like that of today are not a sign of impending volcanic eruptions, and they are not caused by magma rising towards the surface.”

Large hydrothermal explosions occur on an average of every 700 years, the USGS says.

“Although large hydrothermal explosions are rare events on a human time scale, the potential for additional future events of the sort in Yellowstone National Park is not insignificant. Based on the occurrence of large hydrothermal explosion events over the past 16,000 years, an explosion large enough to create a 100-(meter)- (328-ft-) wide crater might be expected every few hundred years,” it added.

Freemasonry and the Cabala

The most comprehensive exposition of Literal Cabala published by a Freemason is, The Canon (1897). William Stirling, the author of this work makes it plain that Freemasonry has a deep interest in the Kabbalah:

' (Qabalah) . . . formed an important part of the Masonic traditions, and undoubtedly contains the nearest approach to a direct revelation of the ancient canonical secrets of the old world;' (1)

We are also informed that the Brotherhood in its higher degrees is deeply concerned with the cabala. Albert Mackey, in the authoritative Encyclopedia of Freemasonry , asserts that cabala is, " . . . intimately connected with the symbolic science of Freemasonry," (2). He goes on to say that:
Much use of it is made in the advanced degrees, and entire rites have been constructed on its principles. Hence it demands a place in any general work on Freemasonry.

More recently, Thomas D. Worrel spelled out, in a paper delivered to the Allied Masonic Degrees Britannia Lodge #303, where in Masonry the Cabala is mainly to be found:

Some of our rites have obvious kabbalistic influence, such as the 28th degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish rite which is called: "The Knight of the Sun". (3)

Albert Pike is yet another well-respected Mason avowing the central place of cabala within the craft. He wrote: "Masonry is a search after Light. That search leads us directly back, as you see, to Kabalah" (4). He also confirmed for us that Kabalah lies at the heart of Masonic cryptography, "All the Masonic associations owe to it their Secrets and Symbols" (5). Pike seems o have regarded Knight of the Sun as an extraordinarily important degree, for he devoted no less than 219 pages of Morals and Dogma to an exposition of it - far, far more than to any of the other degrees (6). The largest single chunk of this chapter is taken up by fifteen pages of a 'Lecture of the Kabalists'. This starts in the form of a 'Masonic question and answer ritual', concerning the numerical mysteries of the cabala, and is prefaced by the words, 'Omnia in numeris sita sunt' - 'Everything lies veiled in numbers' (7).

Pike tells us that not only is cabala 'the key of the occult sciences', but that this key turns on the secret science of numbers - a big hint about the nature of Masonic cryptology.

Brother Thomas Worrel is more explicit than Pike about how cabalistic numerology is employed in practical terms as a cryptic technique, and cites another eminent Freemason in his exposition (8):

Gematria is based on the idea that words having the same value, have correspondences in meaning (9).

The Magical Language is a mode of cryptic writing used to preserve and transmit the practical secrets of the Western Tradition of Ageless Wisdom. It is an artificial language, combining Hebrew, Greek and Latin elements. Its outstanding characteristic is that the letters of the three alphabets it employs serve also as numbers. Consequently, every word, phrase, or sentence is also a number, the sum of the values of the letters (10).

We can see that the artificial language used by the ancient writers to conceal their initiatic secrets was essentially a language of numbers hidden from view, beneath the words, by means of gematria. Gematria is a viable cryptographic technique - and one of fundamental concern to the higher levels of Freemasonry. Some Freemasory's most enduring secrets are thereby hidden.

⁣WHAT ARE REFINED OILS AND WHICH ONES SHOULD YOU AVOID?

Let’s begin by clarifying that healthy fats are an essential part of healthy living. But not all fats are created equal.

Olive oil, for example, that is UNrefined, uses olives that have been pressed to extract the oil. There ARE health benefits to using pure, unrefined olive oil.

With that being said, let’s dive a little deeper in the refining process.

Definition: Oil that has been refined has been altered by using chemicals that are harmful to us. In short it means to ‘purify’.

But the meaning of purify has many definitions. It may mean the oil was treated with acid, or purified with an alkali, or bleached. It can also be neutralized, filtered or deodorized. All of which require chemicals like Hexane.

In the process of making and refining these types of oils, it leads to PUFas (rancid polyunsaturated fatty acids) which DO NOT hold up well to high heats. In the process of being extracted from the seed these oils oxidize and turn into trans fats. The smell is so rancid that a cleaning process has to take place using bleach to deodorize it.

REFINED OILS YOU SHOULD AVOID:

Canola oil
Vegetable oil
Soybean
Safflower
Corn oils
Margarine (or any other ‘buttery’ spread)

As dangerous as refined oils can be to our health, even more dangerous is the repeated use of Hydrogenated oils (Crisco and margarine). These are some of the most dangerous products on the market today! They have been BANNED in 2 European countries, but are still deemed safe in the United States.

Hydrogenated oil is made by forcing hydrogen gas into oil at high pressure. The more solid the oil is the more hydrogenated the end product, such as margarine and Crisco or lard.

When hydrogenated oils are made the healthy fats are converted into a new type of fat, known as trans fat. This is one subject that has overwhelming support from Doctors, scholars, and scientists alike.

Trans fats should be avoided while healthy fats (found in olive oil, nuts and avocados) should be eaten.

Trans fats are so bad for you, the FDA estimated approximately 95% of prepared cookies, 100% of crackers and 80% of frozen breakfast products contained trans fats [source: Govt Publishing Office]

Now that trans fats have to be labeled on products, most companies have removed them from their products. Sneaky, huh?

WE CAN CONTROL WHAT WE BUY AND PREPARE IN OUR OWN HOMES, BUT WHAT IF WE DINE OUT? HOW CAN WE KNOW WHAT TYPES OF OILS RESTAURANTS ARE USING?

California’s governor recently signed legislation to phase out trans fats from restaurants and baked goods in bakeries [Natl Conference of State Legislatures] and New York city became the largest city in the nation to demand restaurants, cafeterias and schools go trans free.

The best advice I can give is to ASK. Don’t be shy to ask the waiter if the salad dressing is made in house or store bought. Ask what types of oils they use when they cook. Don’t turn a blind eye.

Most restaurants will put the bottom line (their profits) over your health. I hate to say that, but it’s true.

SO WHICH OILS ARE SAFE THEN?

1. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Although Extra virgin olive oil contains a high amount of saturated fat (about 12%) it is one of the few unrefined oils. This means the antioxidants in the original fruit are retained because the oil is extracted by machine only.

Olive oil is usually good 3-12 months after it has been bottled. After 2 years you can expect the fruity flavors to begin disappearing. It is best to buy your oil from a local store that specializes in oils. Purchase them in smaller quantities so they are not sitting in your pantry for months. And NEVER store them over the stove. Keep the bottle sealed and avoid light if possible.

2. Olive oil

This can be tricky because plain olive oil is usually a blend of refined, virgin and extra virgin olive oils. Read the label to know what you are getting.

3. Organic Butter

Butter, like eggs and coconut oil, have been given a bad rap. These are the same marketers who said aspartame and margarine were healthy choices! Butter is a good, safe, WHOLE FOOD choice.

The best choice would be butter from raw milk grass fed cows and the second choice, which is more accessible to most of us, is organic, which is from milk of grass fed cows with NO rBGH injected into them.

4. Coconut oil

Coconut oil is the least fattening of all oils. It got a bad rap back in the 1970s, but the misinformation out there is outdated and coconut oil is one of the better oils for you.

THE BOTTOM LINE:
Try to avoid any refined oils – period. They are cheap. They are processed and they are downright dangerous to your health.

⁣These days everyone’s boycotting Sabra, and I don’t just mean the hummus.

Well before the current war in Israel, Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World came under fire for including the little-known Israeli superhero Sabra. Born Ruth Bat-Seraph, Sabra was raised in a state-run kibbutz, had bulletproof skin, an anti-gravity cape and worked for the Mossad. But following the debut of a teaser trailer and fresh details from the upcoming film, it seems as if her origins with Israeli intelligence may no longer exist, with some claiming Disney has caved to pressure from pro-Palestinian activists and test audiences to scrub the character of any link to the Jewish state.

Sabra courted controversy from the moment she was named as a new player in the MCU. In 2022, when Marvel announced the casting of Unorthodox’s Shira Haas as the character in the latest Captain America, many noted it was days before the 40th anniversary of the 1982 Sabra and Shatila massacre, in which Israel’s allies, the Christian Phalange, killed Palestinians and Lebanese Shiites at refugee camps in Beirut. The timing was bad, but Sabra predated the massacre by two years, launching in an admittedly racist 1980 issue of The Incredible Hulk, and was in no way named for the tragedy, but instead for the nickname of native Israelis, taken from the Hebrew word for the prickly pear cactus.

Even so the backlash was swift, prompting Marvel to say they were taking a “new approach” to the character. The fate of this white-and-blue-spangled superheroine was left in further speculative limbo following Israel’s war in Gaza. The production for the retitled Captain America: Brave New World (the current name followed blowback for the initial title New World Order, which some complained hinted at a popular conspiracy theory) underwent extensive reshoots and delays.

With the debut of the teaser trailer last week, we know Haas is in the film if not togged out in Sabra’s usual uniform. But an official trailer breakdown accompanying the teaser has many accusing Marvel of bowing to criticism to change her role, as it notes that Haas “joins as Ruth Bat-Seraph. A former Black Widow, Ruth is now a high-ranking U.S. government official.” Notice how there is no mention of Mossad or Israel or her codename “Sabra.”

The 326-word trailer synopsis, and little else, inspired headlines like “Marvel removes Jewish superhero Sabra’s Israeli identity for new Captain America movie” and “Marvel strips Jewish superhero Sabra of her Israeli identity.” Zionist writer Hen Mazzig posted to X that “Sabra is being forced to change her nationality to appease antisemites.”

But that may not be the full story. Columnists and Israel influencers are assuming that naming Ruth a Black Widow indicates that she, like the most famous Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff (played by Scarlett Johansson in the films), now hails from Russia, where the state-operated “Red Room” raised young women from childhood to be assassins as part of the Black Widow program.

They could be right, but then there aren’t many folks in Russia with a patronymic like “Bat-Seraph,” especially not ones that are groomed to be elite killing machines in an initiative developed by the Soviet Union, which was sorta infamous for suppressing Jewish identity.

It’s entirely possible, given what we know, that Haas’ Ruth may have made aliyah like many Russian Jews, changed her name and then came to the U.S.

Or maybe she was born in Israel — as the moniker Sabra would imply — and moved to Russia at some point to train and eventually came stateside for a government job. (Reached for comment about whether Ruth remained Israeli or was now Russian, Marvel Studios did not immediately reply.)

A kink in the theory that Haas’ Ruth is now just a Russian export can be found in a July 12 Hollywood Reporter article, which, while noting Haas’ character won’t be called Sabra in the film, described her is “an Israeli (italics mine) former Black Widow who is now a high-ranking government U.S. official.”
