The appearance of Flight 93 at the site of WTC7 fell through, but the planners quickly regained their wits, and set up their back-up plan. WTC7 was ALWAYS meant to go belly-up, considering the hardware that had to be removed from sight. Barry Jennings was also a loose cannon who had to be liquidated. So, plans were set to "pull" WTC7 later in the day, after everything seemed to be at its end. So the script set forward, "WTC7 to go at 4:20 PM". I thought about this for a while. 4:20 is a reference to marijuana, and being able to align the reference to marijuana to a catastrophic event such as a building collapse would fuck with the brains of stoners from here until time immemorial.

Sheer luck screwed that up for them; that, and someone whom couldn't correctly translate GMT into Eastern without using two hands, their feet and a calculator.

A report by the FBI cleared their names later that month. A field report published a few weeks later stated: “Both the Newark and the New York Divisions conducted a thorough investigation which determined that none of the Israelis had any information on prior knowledge regarding the bombing of the World Trade Center. Furthermore, Newark and New York determined that none of the Israelis were actively engaged in clandestine intelligence activities in the United States.”

I will now share with you a true story.

I was NOT aware that Chancellor Palpatine was the Emperor until Revenge of the Sith.

How was that possible?!?

Until recently, I had not seen Return of the Jedi…and I have only a one-word answer to that:

Ewoks.

I could never make sense of how it was that little furry creatures lived in a bloody forest. It smacked of pandering to the fairer sex, who, I imagine, after first seeing the little buggers, practically cooed in the ears of anyone within earshot.

When Star Wars came out, I took the book with me, and read it while the movie played.

When Empire Strikes Back first showed, I had to leave because my sister freaked out when Han cut into the Taun-taun to keep Luke safe from the elements on Hoth. I got to see it not too long after that.

I never saw RotJ in the theater.

When the Phantom Menace came out, I thought that there was something a tad “off” about the Chancellor…but I couldn’t really put my finger on it.

Attack of the Clones should have made it clear that he was up to no good, but I simply didn’t have that prior knowledge.

Of course, it all came together in Revenge of the Sith – though his conversion to the Dark Side was clumsily done.

Now, you think I would have consulted some Star Wars Wiki that would ostensibly explain how Ewoks could live in a forest…but I didn’t much care…until I’d seen a promo of RotJ with the Emperor blasting Luke with Force Lightning.

Now I had to see it!

I sat through the bloody forest scenes, and got my payoff. Of course, I cannot find examples of other Jedis being taught the folly of attacking when the other Jedi has the “high ground“.

So…if you ever see me in person, please feel free to rib me on my missing Palpatine as the Emperor. I won’t zap you with Force Lightning…maybe.

This is cool to watch, but I don't recommend doing it. I read a story about a man who used a 12 Gauge (no pellets) trip alarm in a box. It had the wire staked to the ground through the box, then the box was taped shut. The porch pirate sued him and won. Turns out setting a trap like this is illegal and while he didn't go to jail or anything, there was a huge fine for doing it - along with the $8500 the criminal won in the suit.

I’m so happy to hEAR that you are headed to my favorite island, Castaway Cay! Some of our best core memories as a family have been made on Disney cruises, so get ready to have lots of family time and memorable adventures.

Snorkeling is one of my favorite pastimes while traveling, especially in the Bahamas. The Snorkeling Lagoon is an excellent setting to try this amazing activity. Your kiddos can absolutely snorkel in the shallow water, but they are not nearly as likely to see fish there as they would be out deeper in the lagoon. So what I’d suggest is having them wear the complimentary life vests and those will enable your kids to go out farther.

I hope this is comforting: the protected snorkeling lagoon is very calm due to the natural barrier surrounding it. Translation: smoother waters for snorkelers! For this reason, fins are not needed. Also, lifeguards are stationed around the lagoon in the event a Guest needs assistance while snorkeling. I spy with my little eye...a hidden Mickey! The underwater treasures of Mickey and Minnie are a welcome surprise for adults and kids alike. If I’m estimating correctly, the Mickey statue is approximately eight to ten feet below the surface, and Minnie’s is only about two to three feet below. Both are easily visible while snorkeling, so be sure to bring a GoPro to capture all the fun!

To change gears, renting bicycles gives you a chance to explore this island oasis, which I highly recommend! However, there are only single passenger bicycles available to rent. You'll just have to save the 4-person bike experience for the surrey bikes at Disney's BoardWalk at Walt Disney World!

Since you’ve expressed interest in both snorkeling and biking, I'd be remiss if I didn’t mention the Castaway Cay Getaway Package, which includes snorkel equipment rental for the day, float rental for the day, and bicycle rental for an hour.
