When his Book TV interviewer inquired why he did not deal except in passing with the '9/11 hijackers,' Wright squirmed and hemmed and hawed, then blurted the following crapola:
'I..I..I didn't feel drawn to them as a writer.'

'On some level I wasn't interested in them.'
